IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Trying to find an absolute answer about DV process	i just got off the phone with delbros 3392761 loc 114. The guy i talked to was very nice. and YES the embassy is still doing document verification. THis is how document verification works: 1.. par the 650 pesos at metrobank 2.. text delbros to tell them that you made your payment 3. delbros confirms your payment.. 4. BUT here's the catch.... the US embassy has to notify delbros and give them the list of the case numbers they want a document verification for. 5. That's when delbros delivers the USE's request for your documents it to the NSO. 6. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	delbros verification	Hello everyone. I called the USE last tuesday (November 4th) and I was able to talk to Lorraine. She's really helpful. I asked her about the DV and told her that my hubby paid it in advance. She said, "naku, we don't require that anymore mam." I asked her why and she said due to back logs in NSO's system the embassy is temporarily suspending the requirement for document verification. That is why they are requiring the original birth certificates, marriage certificates and a CENMAR (for married persons) or a CENOMAR (for single persons). We applied for our cenmars last week october 29th. And we just called NSO when the delivery date is and they said it will be at our house by tomorrow afternoon. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Interview on Dec 9	Hello. You should have your medical exam ahead of time. My hubby just had his November 06th-November 07th. Everything went well. His chest x-ray was normal and they just asked him if he lived with anyone who had TB. Then he went back to the medical center the next day to get his results and for immunizations. His immunizations were MMR and Tetanus. He was complete with everything else. We did the medical exam early so that if there was a problem he could fix it before his interview date (11-24-2008). He's applying for a CR-1 visa in manila. What I did was call the call center number while I was in manila before my flight to go back to the states and asked them if his case was eligible for theed interview... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	do we need to schedule medical examination at st. lukes?	Hi. Nope you don't need to schedule an appointment for st. Luke's medical center extension clinic. They open from 6-4pm I think. My husband just went there last week for his check up after dropping me off at the airport. He got to the clinic at 4am and was already number 12. They were given forms to fill out around 445am by the guard. Don't forget to bring your original appointment letter (email or the one you got from the mail), a copy of the appointment letter, your passport, a copy of your passport, 3 ID pictures, and a black ball point pen. My husband was done at around 9am. Then he was told to come back the next day for his immunizations and results. They only gave him a MMR and Tetanus vaccination. He asked for his xray but st luke's told him that they don't give out x-ray films anymore. They just put it on a CD now. IS IT ONE DAY AT US EMBASSY?...........It depends but usually half a day. but be prepared to stay longer[/font] 2. FROM AIRPORT , HOW FAR THAT IS TO GO TO US EMBASSY?..........It depends too considering the traffic. Give yourself a good 30 minutes. 3. IS IT FINE THAT I AND MY DAUGHTER WHO IS 8 MONTHS OLD BABY TO GO TO US EMBASSY? DO I NEED TO BRING SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP ME?..........Who is the beneficiary? If it is you, then just go alone. But if it is you and your daughter you have to bring her too. You won't be able to bring anyone with you. 4. IS IT OK TO BRING SOME STUFF LIKE CELLPHONE, WALLET, BAG INSIDE?.........Bags and wallets are ok. But don't bring any electronic devices including cell phones. Good luck! But on november 18th is our second wedding anniversary. so on his interview, we would be more than two years married. are they still gonna give me a CR-1 visa or change it to IR-1?? We just had our second wedding anniversary yesterday. And his interview is on November 24, 2008. I called the USE manila last week to ask them and Lorraine (very nice lady) told me that the visa department would be the ones responsible for changing the CR-1 visa to a IR-1 visa.
