Nebraska requires we get our marriage license 2 weeks before wedding and we need to apply in person. I'm just going through that losing hope stage just now getting consumed by that big black cloud. I have worked in wedding business, i know the value in booking things in advance. I had all my august 2007 dates for my photography business booked up by mid feb 2006. Nicks family are going nuts about the situation too. I think nicks family gonna have the whle town of grand island, ne complaining about it! lol. The thing that gets them is that everyday our waiting grows, more illegals slip in most will just leech, whilst we actually want to go and contribute. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	ATTENTION JULY FILERS!	and I thought I was keeping it simple by only having a maid of honor...no bridesmaids!!!! Anyway, I've found 3 dresses I like which I know Nick's mammy will like (is it bad when you have similar tastes as your future MIL?) hopefully she can help resolve this. Nick is one of six (1 brother, 4 sisters) and Millie (maid of honor) is really the only other one aside from nicks brother that I have anything in common with. I still get on really well with millie, just this dress thing driving me nuts! Hand itching like mad round edge of burn where its healing, middle bit still tingles and feels like really bad sunburn, that's the 2nd degree burn area! Plastering aloe vera and vitamin e ointment over it now in the hope it wont scar! I'm still confused. I didn't think this was an option for us, because i thought that once you were married, you had to file for the K-3 visa, and still couldn't live together at that point. I'm really lost. Why wouldn't everyone just go to their fiance's country, get married, and then adjust status? OK 2 things spring to my mind.... 1. #######!?!? 2. lucky, jammy, cheating so and so's. If I'd known that I could possibly sneak in the side entrance and still end up legal in the end I would never have come back after my stay in the summer!!!! seriously if anyone can give an possible legal ways they have done this.....if they found a LEGAL loophole we missed, well congrats to them. Apparently alot easier to clear, quicker and you can relax on your flight over the atlantic knowing that it's all done. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	ATTENTION JULY FILERS!	my own fault, was in a hurry in the catering kitchen helping caterers get an event out on time and picked up a just boiled kettle and slipped....kept my balance but slushed the boiling water over my had in process! I'm not taking time off but I'm getting minimum duties and an office junior at my disposal!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	ATTENTION JULY FILERS!	ok I've missed out on nearly a day here. Think I'm caught up on happenings! Ended up in casualty today, got a bad scald to my left hand at work. Got minor nerve damage. They have frozen my left hand with a few shots and i have anaesthetic ointment to use for 3days. Currently it feels as if my hand belongs to someone else as totally numb! Probably good thing as apparently the first few days without this stuff is agony! Was kinda lucky in that the nearest hospital to my work has scotlands best burns unit! Should make full recovery but gonna take a couple of weeks for it to heal properly and until nerves recover I'm going to have constant pins and needles which could take 4-6 weeks. Technically speaking as you are actually a private profit making company and not an offical government office you are breaching international competition laws by holding a monopoly on the issue of processing such requests.
