She can file a petition for you but how long before you had a communication again? It seems like a long period of time already.
But how in the world that you know that this is the solution, first thing your relationship didn't last that long and now that she is pregnant she wants you to be the father to her child?
I don't know, but this sounds really complicated.

Just check the checklist that the Embassy sent you, CENOMAR, NBI, if you had different name used before make sure its written in it.
Suporting documents, I bet you know already what are those stuff.
There's a lot of hotels near the US Embassy, check along Ermita near Robinson's Place.

Good luck!!

Happy New Year to you too!

I had also sent my original birth certificate and PCC to the NVC, obviously together with the certified translations.

In the invitation to the interview you should find a list of things they still need and what you have to bring. Since
I had sent everything beforehand I didn't have to bring anything anymore. (Of course I had proof of relationship with me
and any document that had remotely something to do with the visa process)

But look at the list of documents with their status in your invitation to the interview (should be on page 3). It should tell you exactly what
you have or don't have to bring along with you.

Good luck and congratulations!

Thanks!! I had those list, the documents with "O" mark says, The original document has been received and accepted as meeting post requirements.

Hello guys!! First and foremost Happy New Year to all of you.

I need your expertise for my inquiries, my interview will be on January 25 in US Embassy Riyadh Saudi Arabia.

What I need to know is that, do I have to get another copies of those documents we sent to NVC and bring them on
the interview?

For example, I don't have my Birth Certificate and PCC from the Philippines and Saudi because I sent them all to the NVC.

I am having a confusion, I really don't know what to do. wacko.gif wacko.gif

Did anyone here had an experience that during the interview the Embassy asked for those above mentioned documents even though they are included in the packet that came from the NVC?

You can still use that portal to check if your case is completed, it doesn't matter if you paid online or not.
The important thing is you have your receipt number and case number or call NVC.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresInterview Date :)!

Hi folks!
We finally got the visa interview Feb 18, 2010 @ the American embassy in Copenhagen @ 3 pm  . We are so happy it´s ridicioulous lol. This process has taken 2 year due to my education and a "brief" stop at the IRS.
Still got a few questions...

My husband is comming out this Saturday and will stay until March. Both he and my so got US passports/citizenships. Wondering if it will be okay to bring them along for the interview ???

Also, on the interview letter it says : Preference category:CR1 conditional spouse of US citizen.

We married August 10, 2007 but when we filed we hadnt been married for two years which is the requirement for an IR1 visa. Will this mean I - all though we´ve been married for more than two years- that I still will be a conditional resident and will have to adjust status after two years in the states?? Or will they change that at the embassy??

 I had the same thought, although our 2nd year anniversary will be on July 2010. Thanks for this one.

Congratulations on your interview! I believe it is embassy specific but generally at least one US citizen is allowed in with you. You might want to check with your particular location to see if both your husband and son will be allowed in.

The IR1 classification is determined by the date you activate your visa not when you apply so you will qualify for the IR1. The embassy should definitely note that when you go for your interview. Thanks!!

Good luck!

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedureshow do you know when it left NVC
Usually, it will take a week before the automated operator tells you that your case left the NVC.
It could be better for you to check it thru the tracking system of DHL, here's the link and reduce the anxiety in some ways.

http://track.dhl-usa...sp?nav=TrackRef

Follow this format and try adjust the day on which date you might think the NVC sent your package to the US Embassy in Canada after the completion of your case.

 I got an e-mail from the US Embassy today that my schedule for the interview will be on January 24, but according to the letter I received from NVC my schedule is on January 25

If I will go to the Embassy on the date they gave me, will they accept the e-mail they sent me as proof that I have an schedule on that day?

I am hundreds of kilometers away in Riyadh and getting a flight booking is very hard when your date of departure is getting nearer.
I already purchased my ticket dated on January 25, but now I am having trouble of having it re-book.

Which one I will follow guys, the NVC appointment letter or the e-mail from the embassy?

Hey guys, how's everyone here,
I had my interview last Sunday but the consul didn't told me if I am approved or not. They just returned most of the original documents we submitted to the NVC and keep my passport, gave me a violet card saying "Collect Passport" with date stamp on it and ask me to go to FedEx and pay 125 SR and return to them the airway bill.
I asked the Indian officer if I was approved and he said Yes, but I don't feel anything it seems like I wasn't convinced with his answer. Until now I'm still in doubt if I was approved or not.
I can't wait to see my passport to make my self believe that I was really approved.

The only thing I can say to those who are having their interview, BE HONEST!!

Good luck everyone!!

I would go for CR-1, besides as you have mentioned on your post youve been together for quite sometime now.
The only thing that matters is that you have a bona fide relationship, which I think you have and to make sure he can support you in the US once you are living together.

Good luck!!

Usually all the documents you previously submitted to the NVC is no longer needed during your interview except if you submitted a photocopy or scanned copy. If you already submitted the original documents and still have the doubts, contact the US embassy where you will be having an interview.
Check the checklist that the NVC sent you along with the appointment letter as well.

Hello guys, our case got completed last December 8, although I don't have yet my interview date that will occur in US Embassy-Riyadh Saudi Arabia, i'm starting to feel so nervous and worried about the result.
I already got all the documents aside from the PCC, do I have to get another NBI clearance from the Philippines and a PCC in Saudi aside from those I submitted to the NVC? These things really made me so uncomfortable and can'y sleep at night.

Did you guys get another PCC to be submitted during your interview or the NVC will send those PCC's that you previously submitted to them to the embassy? unsure.gif wacko.gif

No you don't have to send another PCC with you nvc will forward for you . i don't understand the saudi NBI what are you asking exactly?

NBI is from my native country, its more like PCC in general because this agency is like FBI in the US and its covering the whole country instead of getting a PCC for every place I've lived in the Philippines.
Thank you for your inputs..keep safe!!
