My NOA1 was on May 10, 2013, and I just got this update: "On August 6, 2013, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address."   Is this a sign of a soon approval?? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Congress inquiry sent	My case is still under the normal period of processing, and just being transferred like others. But since they previously look at what was happening with my fiance and her family, I decided to make the congress people aware of my petition and the progress. The representative decided to send an email asking about the status of our case. She also attached other documents related to our case. I don't know what to expect but I'm very grateful. I called earlier to see if they wanted to look at the case again. I was directed to a representative that promptly look at the old files and did some research to learn about our case. I came to the office to drop off a privacy release form, and by the time I got home the representative had already sent the inquiry to different USCIS offices. I have a PO Box but forgot that I subbimited it as my mailing address for the case instead of my home address. I keep checking the home mail box, and for got about the PO Box for a while. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Where is my I-129F case??? Lost during transfer?	I see how many other VJ users know where they case has been transferred. Also, on the USCIS website there is a page that says that they would tell me to which office my case was transferred to. On my case status only says my case is at a USCIS office. I actually received about 3 notifications about the transfer. I called about two weeks ago, and they couldn't tell me where my cases was. They didn't have that information, the rep said. Called again today, and they still don't have that information. 5/10/2013 - NOA1 8/7/2013 - On August 6, 2013, we transferred your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), to your local USCIS Office for further processing. 8/9/2013 - The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. Actually, the Tampa office that has my case according to that supervisor is the one at 5629 Hoover Boulevard. Here I went for my Citizenship process. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	I-129F Transferred again without notice?	I just got off the phone with a tier 2 supervisor at USCIS. He told me to send a letter with the proof of my trip and also to explain that my son was only given 90 days to stay as a tourist on Guatemala. The estrange thing was that he told me to send this information to Tampa field office instead of Texas. I explained that I received a note that my case was transferred to Texas, but he said that he checked the most current status and location showed to be at Tampa field office.   I remember this was the office me and my fiance had to keep reporting in person during her last few months in the states. The thing is that I never got another notice of transfer like when it was transferred to Texas.   Has anybody had a similar experience? What's going on?? I realized I didn't include the intent to marry letters either. He told me that USCIS will ask me for everything I need, but never mention that I could avoid that RFE by sending all the basics. I sent the pages that had stamps on and the main part (with the picture and signature on) to them and that's it and they accepted that. The RFE was because I didn't include proof of the flights etc to match the stamps. We posted the reply yesterday morning so fingers crossed we don't have much longer to wait.   You'll b alright. What they do is match up the dates of the stamps to boarding passes and flight confirmation   Exactly. That's why I think they don't need a copy of the whole passport. Just the page with the id and owner's information, plus the one with the stamps with the travel I need them to see. They will not use the rest of the pages. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	should i be worried!?!	so i sent my ROC application on 02/18/2011 and it was received 02/22/2011, my NOA receipt is dated 02/25/2011 but i havent received my bio appt letter.. the other february filers that submitted their application at the same time as me already have appointments around late march or early april.. i did biometrics for an I-90 application last 10/2010 which wasn't even 6months ago so my question is as follows: do u guys think they'll require me to do the biometrics again or will they just use my last biometrics since it's less than 6mos old? . Hi envy-me. I am also a Feb filer without a Bio appointment. Filed on Feb 7th, got Noa on Feb 9th and yesterday I called USCIS regarding the appointment. They were really helpful and nice. Today, I got an e-mail from them saying that their records indicate that I am still pending to do bio because my local office -Tampa in my case- is, basically, packed. That as soon as a date and hour comes available they will send me the notice. Apologizing, of course, for any inconvenience Hope this gives you some relief.
