It seems there have been some transfers already this morning MSC1391539240-47 and MSC1391539382-394. Getting closer to me. Yay

Is there a place where you can see transfers? Where do you find it?

You can see it between msc13915392xx and more ...

Is there a place where we can see all the MSC numbers listed? Could you post a link if there is?

Many Thanks :)

5 more months total or in regard to transfers?

That's the crazy part. She told me they were working on February's applications and it would take 5 months to get to mine!

I think my journey is over (at least until the time comes to apply for the removal of conditions). My wife arrived yesterday at 3pm which is pretty much a year exactly since my first priority date for the NOA1 :) Keep your chins up guys. Your day will come soon!

Hi there! Anxiously waiting for my passport back. What are the changes I should see in the CEAC page, if any and when? Right now it says "Ready" and status updated shows my interview date 07-18. We were so happy at the end of the interview, that we forgot to ask how long it usually take for the passport to be back. Thanks a lot!

I would say within a week but it depends on the country. Your CEAC page should change from "READY" to "ISSUED".

My wife is outside the Embassy now just entering for her interview. Yay! Alhamdulillah :)

My wife is done with the Interview. She got my apartment number wrong, 1953 instead of 1359. Hope that doesn't negatively impact the interview. Currently we are in consular processing. The interviewer did say that we should receive the visa within a week but he did not give my wife a concrete date like he did for the other people interviewed. I don't know what to think. Hope for the best though! :)

YAY...is this good news?Even though there is no notice or tracking info scanned...the CHECK HAS BEEN CASHED TONIGHT !So obviously the packet is somewhere ?

Do you have online banking enabled? See if you can find a scanned copy of the check online. Make sure it has the USCIS endorsement in the signature area. Best to be safe.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresRFE dilemma

I personally wouldn't give them this many pages of chat logs or emails. Send a page or so from the beginning of the relationship, then some throughout the middle and a page or so that's more recent.

I ended up sending my boarding passes as well as the copy of the Visa Pages, Some photos and about 40 pages of chat logs. Hopefully they won't get overwhelmed :P

I heard about a case where they sent three RFEs to someone because she didn't send enough chat logs.

The RFE also asked me for a copy of the original marriage certificate because they claimed I had only sent in the translation which is not true. I guess they misplaced the coy of the Original when they transferred the case to the CSC office.

God willing they accept it! Fingers (and toes) crossed! :)

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresRFE dilemma

I received an RFE that says I need to submit more evidence of a bona fide relationship. Problem is that we were only together for a week after we got married and we have absolutely nothing to provide them. I sent them photos and two affidavit letters from people who attended the wedding. I'm doing my taxes hopefully as married which includes my wife. I hope that will work as more evidence. Any other suggestions?

Thanks a lot!

Smaller airports that accept international flights might have a better success rate too. I always get grilled at the San Francisco airport suspiciously whenever I fly to Indonesia and back. This last trip I flew from San Jose international and they barely spoke to me at all. Just waved me through!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reportsplease help me understand the i129f processing timeline

Yes, this is a stale thread.  It's OK to start a new one of your own, in these instances. good.gif

Read the advice above.  Go atop any VJ page and click the links for "Embassy Info" and "Reviews: Embassy" and read everything pertinent to YOUR consulate.  Pay particular attention to the "worst" stories so that you can avert similar trouble.  Allocate the necessary funds for AOS (adjustment of status) in an otherwise-untouchable account.  Help to acclimate your fiancee to life in the U.S. in advance, not only by introducing her to what to expect but by preparing for her goals.  Search posts by the member "Gary and Alla" to see how he helped his then-fiancee hit the ground running from the instant she entered the U.S.

(Organizer hat on)

*** Thread moved from K-1 Process forum to the Case Progress subforum. ***

Thank you very much. :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reportsplease help me understand the i129f processing timeline

Hi,

Sorry for hijacking this thread but this was the first one to pop up via a google search.

I filed a I129F petition for my fiancee back in the middle of Feb and was received at the California Service Center sometime closer to the end of Feb. Tonight I just got notification that the I129F petition has been approved; I received emails and text messages letting me know of this. It is stated on the site and in the email that a notice was mailed to me today so I'm assuming I should receive it by the end of this week. But until then I was wondering if people familiar with this process can help me figure out what's usually the next step in the process for myself and/or my fiancee? She's in Taiwan and I'm in California if that makes any difference.

Thanks

Congrats Misha and Ben   good.gifstar_smile.gif

As for the health check, find out which hospital the US consulate designates K-1 people in Taiwan to go. Then call the hospital to ask your questions above. She might want to confirm what kind of vaccination the hospital specifically requires. For example, vaccination against chicken pox is required in my country, but when I called the hospital they said "if you remember going through it, that's fine. You don't need any documentation as a proof." So it differs from hospital to hospital. (And prices, too.)

These information you need should be on the website of US Consulate of Taiwan.

Yep! found it. Its's American Institute in Taiwan (AIT, ??????):

http://www.ait.org.t...rant-visas.html

It leads you to Travel.State.Gov:

http://travel.state....pes_2994.html#7

Go to K-1, then see "Required Documentation" and " Medical Examination and Vaccination Requirements" .

It says "must be performed by an authorized panel physician" so probably you cannot use the last one.

See Taipei AIT information on VJ: http://www.visajourn...iwan&cty=Taipei

also VJ guide for what to do after the NOA2: http://www.visajourn...content/k1guide

Good luck !!!

Thank you so much. This is really good info and I really appreciate it. :D

Thanks! :)

As far as the health check goes, is there a period of validity? When my fiancee applied for citizenship in Taiwan in January she had to go for a health check then too. So would she be able to use her health check from then or would she have to have it done again? I have a feeling that it's different in various countries so she may or may not be able to use her previous health check.

I'm currently in California and she's still in Taiwan and when she goes in for her interview what sorts of documentation would she need? More specifically, what sorts of documentation would she need to bring of me? I'm hoping this would all be in that letter I'm waiting on but I'm too excited to wait another day, lol. I understand that we still have at least another 2 or 3 months but how many more steps are there between now and then?

By the way, I'm so glad I found this website. I actually didn't stumble upon this until after I had sent in my petition. So much valuable information and such a tight nit group of people that are all in similar situations.

NOA1 for me was Feb 14th and I got a text and email yesterday that said our I129F was approved. Now the status meter is sitting at, "Post Decision Activity."

I was out grocery shopping yesterday when I got the text. I got so excited I forgot to buy half of the stuff I needed because I wanted to rush home and see what the status change was.

Now I'm just waiting on that letter and wondering what the heck I'm supposed to do now. lol

Hi,

Not having seen any updates on my case since 12/04 and since I did my fingerprints on 12/13 I just called USCIS, the costumer service representative that talked to me gave me contradictory information:

-She told me that I should not see any changes in my case until I get scheduled for my interview which I think is wrong according to the info I got in this forum.

-She also told me that the background check takes four months for everybody which I also think is wrong.

I may sound paranoid but I am impatient, specially seeing that other people are getting interview letters. Can someone give me some help?

Thanks

Hi
My fingerprint was Nov-22 and my initial interview and test was Jan-8
So its around a month and a half between the two
