K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February 2014 filers	We are MARRIED! We had so much fun and after the stress of the whole k1 process, a nice, tiny, courthouse wedding was perfect. Our pals Aaron and Pearl were out witnesses, and took some photos for us. This one is my favourite, despite it being the most blurry of the bunch. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February 2014 filers	speaking of going through customs...  I decided to take a trip with my daughter the week before Johan and his son arrive in LA.  (I agree; I can't afford it right now!)  Our planes land 4 minutes apart at the same terminal at LAX.  How cool is that?!  So I will get to go through customs with my love, even though we are arriving on different planes. About two and a half weeks early, but he is off to England next week, for a week, so it shouldn't hinder him too badly. When he told me that he had sold it, I thought, "###### just got real!" Haha. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February 2014 filers	Received a letter from the NVC stating that they have forwarded our case to the embassy in New Delhi India (Bhutan uses New Delhi Embassy).   Created a profile on ustraveldocs.com  website and submitted the DS-160.  Now we are waiting for a letter/email from the New Delhi embassy.  In the meantime I was trying to figure out how to pay for the Visa application fee for my fiance to the New Delhi embassy.  From reading the payment options it appears payment methods are only possible from within India or Druk bank in Bhutan.  I guess its just another hurdle to keep me distracted :-).   Hope everyone had a good 4th.  Just think.....we will all be with our partners next Independence day.     Congrats! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February 2014 filers	Ashley, I've been keeping up with the February TSC filers in the hopes that I will start to see some NOA2's.  I know this is of little consequence, but for what it's worth, I think about you often and send out hope and prayers and positive vibes as much as I can.  Pretty much everyone in this group has expressed sadness and guilt for having gone through this process so fast while you on the Eastern side of the US are essentially hosed by an inefficient TSC.  It's complete bullshit that there is this much of a difference.  It may seem like lip-service, but once the NOA2 arrives, it'll fly by.  I'm hopeful you'll be here well before Thanksgiving.     PS: there was someone who posted a hilarious picture from Hunger Games that read, "I volunteer to help TSC!"   I feel that way.  I WISH I could go help.  I'm off work all summer, and would GLADLY go to bat for you guys.  Hang in there!   Tina Edited by Tina and Johan, 03 July 2014 - 12:09 PM. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February 2014 filers	I love Chicago! ?? Johan and Shaun will arrive with travelers insurance. I don't know the specifics, but I can ask. He arrives July 25th, and we have an appt in Santa Barbara on July 28th to get married. One compelling reason for this is so I can add them onto my insurance. Right now the plan is to not tell anyone (our secret is safe with you guys, right? ?? ) since we have so many people from different countries. We don't want them to feel like their plans are for naught. I've had to explain that this isn't like marrying an American. so many things are based on us being married. Je l'adore!
