K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	SENDING OUT K1 VISA POCKET APPLICATION	Hello Everyone,           I hope everybody is doing well, i would like to get an opinion if we did the right pocket and if do we still need to add more, here's the list of the completed K1 VISA application.   Cover letter Payment I-129F G-325 A for both of us Copy of Naturalization of Citizenship ( back & front ) passport size photos for both of us Copy of divorce document Letter of intent to marry 2 copies from both of us w/ signature Proof of ongoing relationship ( emails, chat log, skype, photos etc.)   Here's our questions: Do i need to enclose my fiancee's, Birth certificate and Cenomar in this pocket or she just have to bring them during the interview? she is single , never been married but have 1 daughter, she decided not to bring her daughter right away if she is able to come to USA, but we are going to declare her and we can file a petition later when she adjust her status in USA once we are married.   Your input is highly appreciated.   Many thanks! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	unusual k1 petition	Please do not reply with answers to hypothetical situations. I am providing all the information. My woman came the the USA from the Philippines on a k1 visa. She did not marry the sponsor. Her k1 expired yesterday. Now we have met, we want to get married. She is living with me in the USA. She will stay less than 6 months so she does not incur a 3 or 10 year ban. We want to apply for a new K1 visa. Can we do that while she is still in the USA? We know that she will have to return to the Philippines for the consular interview. ,As far as i know you can marry her, file a spousal visa and also  the I-601 waiver, after the waiver has been approved,  she has to go back to the Philippines for an interview because  she cannot adjust her status in the USA, it is a  bit longer process but everything will be resolved, as long as you guys can prove that you have a genuine relationship and she will not be a burden to America. Get an expert Lawyer for I-601 waiver, there is another site called immigtate2us.net and you can get a lot more info and suggestion regarding I-601 waiver. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	How to deal with my anxiety through this whole process :|	Let me start off by saying I love this website, and it has been a HUGE help for me since I am ... as I'm sure all of you are ...new to this entire process. So, my story ... so far... My fiance proposed on his recent visit here to Canada last month in April... As soon as he left I started getting our packet together and ready for him to send out. It took a week of obsessing over every little detail ... the cover letter, making sure it was all in order, the passport style photo in a plastic baggy, attached to a blank piece of paper ... signing and dating absolutely everything ... photocopying all of our letters, printing 4x6 photos of us at walmart, labelling, dating, describing every single one of them ... gathering copies of chat logs and ... oh god. It has been one heck of a ride and we're only just beginning. And well, I have an anxiety disorder and I currently don't take any medication for it. (I can't bring myself to spend $50 a month for something that, lets be serious, I should be able to manage... )  So, I put as much of this package together as I possibly could (being the beneficiary). I sent it out to my fiance for him to add his biographic information and passport photo... And for him to sign everything, date it. add the cheque, etc... I was panicking, worrying he was going to forget to sign something, or that he was going to fill in the wrong sections of the form... Or misplace a piece of paper ... I don't know why, an RFE really isn't so bad. This entire process is going to take a year, so what's another month during that, really? It got to a point where he was getting upset with me because I was stressing him out. And we would start to argue with each other, because it didn't seem (and still doesn't seem) like he's taking this things seriously. But I am waking up in the middle of the nights sweating, panicking. Thinking about everything that could go wrong. A bit fat "DENIED" all over our application. And then today it hit me. He didn't write his name on the back of his passport photo. When I asked him, he got really upset at himself because he overlooked that. If he had only taken this as seriously as me??? And stopped telling me that I was freaking out and that everything will be just fine... Grrr! SO now I'm wondering if I will get an RFE for that. We were sooooooo detailed with everything else. His photo is in a plastic baggy, labelled "Photo of (my fiances name)" .. and we also included a photocopy of his passport card along with the birth certificate (I like to be thorough). Since they use that passport photo as photo I.D. to put a face to the name ... Could they compare the photo to his passport card ... and would that be sufficient?  How do I stop worrying so much? We literally just sent the package out today. ... I'm thinking maybe I should start on those anxiety meds again, because this amount of stress can't be normal. Am I worrying for nothing?  Holy ####### how do you guys do it, this process is terrifying. And I don't even know why, I love my fiance so much and I want to be with him.  Some advice from you guys who have gone through this would be amazing. And any hiccups you guys ran into ? I think everyone is going through the same feeling and it is normal to be that way but what I am doing recently is to focus on the positive side, imagining that this process will have a happy ending and I will be with my fiance soon. DO NOT FEAR THE. UNKNOWN. Make yourself busy at work, read a book. , exercise and find something that will distract you from thinking too much, and the rest will fall into places. I don't think i quite understand.   When you started the K1 process he was going thru the process of becoming a US citizen?  How did you Included the Naturalization Certificate?   Thank you!!!      Thank you!   We met in the 5th grade but i went to visit her earlier this year on a green card. @VFittipaldi, he is already an American Citizen when we started the process for K1 though he hasn't change his passport yet ( or renew) he is still holding the Canadian passport. But we were able to complete our K1 document by sending his naturalization certificate copy ( front and back), right now he is on the process of renewing it, so he can have his what we called blue passport ( US PAssport ) , we were out of budget few months ago and we have to prioritized filing the K1 instead of having the US Passport.	asianculture	Not Telling	Philippines	2014-05-04 15:44:00

My Fiance didn't wait for his US passport, he is still have his Canadian passport when we started the K1 process, we just include his naturalization certificate and we didn't encounter any problem at all, now we are waiting for my MNL# @ NVC . When your fiance arrived in USA, they will give her 90 days validity of her visa, you guys have to get married and file for adjustment of status within 90 days to avoid problem. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	December Filers	i want to join the december group. i filed in december and got noa1 on 12/27/12. alien registration number was changed on 01/03/13. i called and went through the different level of operators. i held on for a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes. i was told that it was not a glitch and the alien registration number for my fiancee did change. she said that it did not mean anything but it truly had changed.	lively35	Not Telling	0	2013-01-07 23:14:00
