They cashed the check on 12/6 but I've yet to receive an email or text about despite filling out the form. I'm hoping that means our NOA1 would be the same date the check was cashed then? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	How much is 'enough' proof?	damn why 200 pages? When i sent the chat messages i pretty much just sent them clips of the messages. I would do a couple days in the beginning, and in end of the month, I would erase everything in the middle. I must have sent tons of pictures, probably around 30 (Pictures of our vacation and engagement party and our families together). I showed receipts of the places we went to when we were together AND also a receipt of the engagement ring. I also sent mails that we sent each other. That link should work for you to schedule the interview but you can schedule it, if you have the mnl number. After your petition is approved it gets sent to the NVC. NVC wil then send it to the US embassy in PI and thats when you get issued a mnl number. You will have to pay the visa fee at BPI. My fiance finished her interview at the embassy and her VISA has been approved. They told her once they get her results they will start processing the VISA...But I believe you guys already passed the medical, because you both have taken the vaccine. First time poster here.   A little bit of background: My fiance is from Sweden, and we have been together for about three and a half years. We met when she moved to the US temporarily for an internship. When her internship ended, I moved to Sweden with her and we lived there for over two years. (I was able to get a visa based on our status as a cohabiting couple; no marriage or engagement required). Recently, I moved back to the US for work. She is still in Sweden awaiting the opportunity to move here, so we're currently in the unfortunate position of being in a long-distance relationship.    I filed the I-129F from the US the same week that I moved back. On April 4, I got confirmation from the USCIS that my petition had been received.   On Tuesday, she checked our petition status at the USCIS website and was shocked to see that our petition was apparently approved on April 14th and our case was in post-decision status. I checked the website myself and cautioned her against getting excited. Surely it must be a clerical error, right? It states right there on the website that the expected processing time is five months!   So today I called in to the customer service center at the USCIS to ask about it. I went through the automated system and put in our case number, and the same status details were relayed to me. So I had the call transferred to an operator. I explained the situation and asked if there was any sort of error, and they said no!   So apparently our case was approved in exactly 10 days! How this happened is utterly perplexing to me.    Has anyone else had their petition approved so quickly? Can anyone shed any light on why our petition could have gone through so quickly? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January 2014 Filers	A quick note here.  I booked the embassy interview for my fiance today,  and the earliest date at that time was May 6th.  (Manila).  I logged in a little later, and it had changed to May 27th.  I didn't close the page.  I came back a little later, and clicked "Reload/Refresh", and it told me the next available appointment was MARCH 26TH.  Needless to say, I jumped on that.  Cut a full 46 days off of my wait time.   So, if you are checking for a closer interview date, leave the page open, and just refresh it every few minutes to check on it. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February 2014 filers	oh ok.. but can i ask are there any changes with the requirements? the sample k1 letter from the embassy here in vj it states there that the visa fee is 350$ but now its just 240$ ... i wonder if there are any changes in the requirements? you received the letter isnt? you notice some changes except for the visa fee? will appreciate your response I havent really read the letter but i do remember paying 240 not 350. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February 2014 filers	hi jabadilla, my fiancée approved case is in transit to USEM. if we pay the visa fee at BPI , do we need to fill up & submit first the DS-160 before we can schedule her interview or can we schedule her interview right after we pay the visa fee and do the DS-160 at a later time? I just want to schedule it soon coz I'll be in Manila in May for 3 weeks and I'm hoping we can get an interview while I'm there.
