Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionI-751 MARCH 2012 FILERS

So today I have received another NOA, dated March 22nd. This one is a 2 pages NOA; however,it gives me a case number EAC# that is traceable online. Is that what you guys have received so far?First time an extension letter AND then another 2 pages NOA that has the case number that you can look up online?
I was hoping to get the biometric letter, not another NOA...

Hmmm...Are you sure there is no appointment listed on it? The first NOA is not traceable online, but the second NOA that I received had the traceable number and the appointment for biometrics.

This also happened to us, which is why the bank statement was helpful :)

Vanessa & Tony, thanks! That was fast!
The bank verification thing is a letter signed by the bank branch manager saying that we have a joint checking and savings.
When I looked at the print-preview for the e-statements only his name shows up! I think because I am the secondary owner on it.
That's why for AOS we had them print us verification letter that we are both on the account instead of sending the e-statements.

Agh.. being disorganized is not good when it comes to USCIS..

That looks like a lot of great evidence! Good luck :)

My list so far for ROC :

- G-1145 – Form for E-notification of Application/Petition Acceptance
- Payment in the amount of $590.00 payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security
- I-751 Joint Petition to Remove Conditions, signed and dated ###
- Copy of my Green Card (Front and Back)

- Evidences of Relationship:
o Copy IRS transcripts 2010 & 2011 showing joint filing
o Copy of State Income Tax Return 2010 & 2011 (showing joint names)
o Copy of Wells Fargo letter showing that we are joint account holders.
o Copy Wells Fargo joint account statements every 3 or 4 months
o Copy E*Trade joint accounts
o Copy of Credit Bills showing both our names
o Copy of Mortgage, Bill of Sale, Property Taxes of Seasonal Property (showing joint names)
o Electricity bills of Seasonal Property (showing joint names)
o Copy of Company benefits letter showing that my husband is the beneficiary.
o Health Insurance showing joint names
o Medical Explanation of Benefits letters, showing me on my husband's Health Insurance.
o Copy Car Insurance cards (showing joint names)
o Copy of our dog adoption contract from Rescue (showing joint names)
o Copy of my dog's Vet office visit bills (showing joint names)
o Copy of flight itinerary printout, boarding passes & hotel reservation email.
o Copy of Christmas cards that were addressed to both of us.
o Few photos from wedding & various occasions

Our current house is still under my husband's name as he bought it longer before our marriage.
Too troublesome to add my name and we currently have no plan to refinance the mortgage.
I will also highlight in our joint bank account statements, showing our salary direct deposits, car payment, mortgage loans payments & other bills payments.

As for Affidavits, we don't like to trouble friends or family members to write one for us.
We should have sufficient evidences for ROC :)

Hopefully there will be no RFE or interview for us.

I am more worried about Biometrics, because I had to do it twice during AOS since the machine could not read my finger prints!

I am so sorry this happened to you. The best thing to do is cut ties and try to move on with your life. Dealing with cheating at this level sucks, but it's even worse once he would he here and you would be dealing with a much more cumbersome process. He didn't respect his relatinship with you, nor did he respect you as a human being. I am sure that you will find someone who does.

Middle East and North AfricaTransit Visa

If your husband is coming to the US and he has a visa in his passport and he is NOT leaving the airport he does not need a transit visa. My husband traveled through Germany and France on several occasions and was in the airport over 2 hours and never required a visa. His trip here was through Germany and he was there for 6 hours without a visa - just his Tunisian passport and US visa. They knew he was immigrating. France is the same way. You can read this on most websites. The visa becomes necessary only when he's going to attempt to leave the airport.

France and Italy are strict because of the Tunisian illegals in their country. The numbers are enormous and this is why they place restrictions and act in sometimes hateful ways toward Tunisians traveling there. However the American visa in his passport will illustrate his intent to immigrate to the United States and as long as he does not attempt to exit the airport he will be alright.

Agreed 100%.
Anis had no trouble in Paris. However, I was with him, which probably lent credence to his immigration to the US.

Middle East and North AfricaThink Really Hard Before Marrying Someone from MENA
Thank song is fabulous. I <3 chebba djanet

I think I will tell the story of Cheba Djenet. There is a song called Matajoubouliche which means take good care of my baby. Its a rai song and pretty famous. she is a rai star. Anyway, she fell in love with this married man named Marwan who constantly cheated on his wife with her and then cheated on her with other women. She became pregnant twice by him and he made her abort twice. And yet shes still with him. She loves him, she adores him and now shes in her mid 30s.Pretty soon she wont be able to have children. And shes wasted her whole youth with this marwan fellow. Shes a very famous rai singer. Anyway, shes made plenty of money singing but as the years pass, she has no kids. She has no babies. She knows Marwan wont marry her because he wont even have a baby with her. You see there are users with mena girls too who waste their time and their lives and then either marry someone suitable and have kids with them and string the other woman along. These women who get strung are very very very sad in the end and always end up alone because most of the time these men at 50 unlike too much in the US can marry a girl who is in her 2os.Shes mena and hes mena.. and its true even in their case. He didnt think she was good enough to have kids with and didnt

Olivia, no one wants to see you end up played and alone and having lost your ability to have kids. I have had someone waste my life and my time and make me sick and its not fun. Please dont see it as people being mean. See it as sage advice.. Please listen to it and dont lose your chance ok honey? Sorry for the stupid story but its a true one.

Middle East and North AfricaThink Really Hard Before Marrying Someone from MENA

This stuff is basic common knowledge I do believe. I've read pretty much this same stuff just browsing the internet. Didn't stop me or my husband from wanting/having a child. Even if we divorced one day, I'd still have my children. Statistics are fine and good but every person/family is different. How one handles a divorce/child custody situation makes all the difference...not statistics. I do hope that one day, you don't look back on your decision with regret. It would be one thing if you never wanted children but the fact that you obviously did want them and were blindsided by your husband's "announcement" is incredibly sad. How you aren't insulted by his hinting that you wouldn't make an adequate mother because you're American and not Muslim is beyond me.

Amen.

I've seen only 4 K1 NOA2's reported on Igor's list in the past 2 weeks. Before that we were seeing 2 or 3 a day. Any guesses why? Maybe just a lack of people updating their timelines?

QUOTE (daddeus @ Apr 17 2008, 02:35 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
This is probably the worst time of year and year for K1s. We are hit by:

1. H1-B April 1st onslaught - 165000 applications for 85000 slots
2. Election 2008 Naturalization Pressures - need to have those citizens to vote for Obama/Hillary
3. Gonzalez Stepping Down - when the cats away, the government workers slack off

Its a Triple Whammy...even the VSC is hit.

The only hope there is is that whoever replaces Gonzalez wants to impress and kicks someones butt.

The USCIS director is appointed by the President, so I'm not sure I understand the reasoning that they pushing for Democratic votes.

You are correct, Igor's stats show a slow down at the VCS also. Could be they've shifted personal to process other types of applications and they will be shifted back to K1 and K3's later.

hey everyone ..
anyone has got any idea what is happening at CSC these days because I have not seen anyone getting aproved last 2 weeks ..are you they all on vacation or what?

Obviously, they have reduced the number of people processing K1's. Why this is happening is not known. At the current rate, I'm expecting at least a 12 month wait for my NOA2.

I mentioned in a previous thread that we should pool together and put a little pressure on the CSC. But, the members here remind me of the 3 monkey's.... see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. They don't want the stress involved in contacting the USCIS. Better to just close their eyes and wait.

Tomorrow, I have the day off. I'm planning to call the USCIS and try to find out what is happening. I'll start at the bottom of the ranks and speak with the Customer Service Rep. If I get stonewalled by them, I'll try to talk to a supervisor and then a manager. I expect this will not be easy, but I think I have the right to know what is happening. The USCIS is there to perform a service for us... the taxpayers who pay their salaries.

Steve

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reportsvery upset about CSC
The CSC is processing K1's for late October and early November right now. So, you should be receiving your NOA2 soon. That may be why they said not to call back for 30 days.

Look at Igor's list and you'll see a few other couples from October who recently got their NOA2. (Robbie and Jillymae, Natasha and Bob).
Igor's list for the CSC

I'd wait a while longer before contacting your Senator.
