I think about that, my gf in usa will fill K1 in 2007 for me (i am from france) , i am scared it takes so many months, without meeting..... I wonder why it s not possible while waiting for VISA k1 to keep visiting my gf as tourist ( = 3 months without visa) Have you not met your fiance yet??? I am not sure I understand you. If you haven't met then yes...it will take a long time and you will probably be denied because you have to meet at least twice in 2 years and you have to have proof of it as well. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Mission Accomplished	After 10 months I finally got my K-1 visa My interview was this passed Friday and it was a success. I was really nervous but that was to be expected. Everyone was very nice and we were well organized (my US fiance went with me to Montreal for the interview). I was only asked 3 questions and I wasn't asked at all about my two border denials. Pretty painless. I'm waiting to receive the visa in the mail this week and then its off to California on Friday!!! Woohooo! I'm so glad to finally have achieved this and that we can start our life together now! Thanks to everyone who has been helpful to us during this whole process. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	RECEIVED NOA2 TODAY FROM CSC!	Our NOA1 was May 1, 2006, so it is obvious now that CSC is not going by the original receipt date. They received our RFE on July 13, 2006, so I believe the RFE received date is the one they're using now. Originally, Nebraska had told us that the processing time would be 80-110 days. Congratulations TimR!!!! We have a close timeline.....so I hope ours will come next.....We were also informed that it was 90-120 days waiting period. It's probably something easy like more pictures or originals of some paperwork. .....my fiance forgot to send the the first 2 pages attached....he only sent the questionnaire page (3rd page)...maybe this is the reason why the USCIS will resend the questionnaire again....(sigh) Am I going to wait for months again after this second rfe? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I feel very unlucky	I am trying to feel hopeful with the flurry of March approvals from CSC but nothing is really helping me feel better..... I feel depressed, sorry for myself and ..... utterly lonely. After sending my application on April 7th, I first waited (with many of you) for the IMBRA situation to resolve. Is there silver lining here? Yes! Our love grew stronger and stronger. We braced rough time together. We developed a bond that cannot be broken now. Our time of approval will come SOON....M an April filer too, we got a second RFE again. We need to wait and be patient, we don't have a choice. Praying for a speedy recovery of your only love. In our case, we got first an RFE IMBRA questionnaire.....My fiance got the 2nd RFE (via mail) a week after the email notice.....they are asking for some specific documents.....They are asking us to produce evidence we met within 2 years (in the Philippines).... Consider yourself blessed for that, they sent you the notice quite fast....My fiance will be sending it this week.....for other's case, they got the decision/approval average of 2 weeks after they sent back the 2nd RFE.... Is the RFE asking for further evidence or further written information regarding Q18? aussiewench- Yes....They are asking for evidences that he went to the Philippines and we met (initial meeting, last & circumstance of meeting. Yes....He included all the documents (we only stick to the specific documents they were asking so as not to confuse them e.g. passport copies, airline tickets, pictures...). They were asking for proof we met within 2 years. For cirumstance of meeting, he just wrote a brief explanation on how we met. Is it a strange circumstance of meeting?- Nope. He's a highschool friend of mine. We met again after 15 years.....he had his vacation last year in the Philippines (highschool reunion). My RFE asked for pretty much everything, they wanted information on initial meeting, last meeting, and also circumstance of meeting (oh yeah and the IMBRA questions). Do not just throw out dates at them, it can get confusing. For your circumstances, stick straight to the point and be very clear. Try to concentrate on the time period they want information from. We just want to double check everything before he sends it to CSC. This is what he stated in the RFE reply: October 2, 2006 Receipt #: WAxxxxxxxxxxxx Applicant: -------------------- Beneficiary: ------------------ I have attached numerous pieces of evidence to prove that I was in the Philippines last year, and that my fiancé and I have met. We have known each other since 1990, during my 1st year in high school in the Philippines, where we were classmates. Unfortunately, I was pulled out of school late October of 1990 to get ready for our flight to the U.S. We lost communication until early last year where we found each other via Friendster on the internet. Airline Passenger Receipt (Asiana Airlines), Along with Baggage claims, and Boarding Pass. And Passenger Itinirary. 5.) Photo’s taken in the Philippines together. I can provide Video’s on CD and Photo’s on CD upon request. Hope these proofs are enough. Thank you so much for the RFE thread the other VJ members started, it helped us so much....God bless you all. It would be a good idea for your fiance to write a paragraph or two about the circumstances in which you met. The statements in the text would be then enhanced by the evidence you have collected. If it indeed is simply the IMBRA supplement RFE, can I resend it, as well as addition info (I went to visit him for a month in July)? I got my first RFE asking us three questions, the 2nd RFE we got they are asking for some documents that we met within 2 years. It's good you already got your RFE. As the other VJers are telling, it means that they are taking action on your case. Our approval with come soon after we send the RFE reply. Double check everything before sending ok? Today is 170 passed and i just check my online status and the last email i got was on 31 JULY 2006 since then it seems its just stuck forever.
