Shipping Documents to the Philippines

when i sent the interview packet to my husband i used USPS. it cost $30 3-5 days delivery. unfortunately i took 7 days to reach my husband so he missed the interview on jan 11. we had to wait 9 days to reschedule another interview, and thats after calling the embassy everyday to bug them about our case. anyway, we have a new schedule on jan27. i guess if u send it through USPS, after it reaches the foreign country (philippines) it sits there for a few days before it gets delivered. the package arrived in manila on jan 6. my husband lives in cavite, 30-40 minutes drive from manila without traffic, and the documents didnt arrive until jan 11. it actually didn't get delivered to his house. it was sent to the municipal hall and a messenger from the office went to my husband's house to let them know he has to pick up the package. plus there's a 200 pesos fee for it to be picked up..yes i know, ridiculous. so definitely if there's an office in san diego i'll try using johnny

hello everyone.. and mga ate at kuya. when going to get the medical at St. luke for the first time, what should u bring in order for the medical to continue. do u really need the letter from the NVC or is it ok to bring just a copy of NOA2?

Hi Jhilly,

If you have problem with your 2-days medical exam (specially about your x-ray) the St. lukes will advice you to have 3 days sputum test to check if you are positive of TB. If your 3 days sputum test will be negative u still need to wait for 8 weeks for sputum culture result. (",)

Thanks bhebe.. its so nerve racking with the whole medical exam. and with the negative sputum results it'll still take 8 weeks waaaaaaa thats a lot of days waiting!

hey guys. im a little confuse with this whole sputum culture test .. from my knowledge it usually just takes 2 days for the medical exam at st. luke. when did the whole 3 day sputum test start? and what is the 2 month culture test about? please please if anyone can give me some information about this i'd gladly appreciate it thanks in advance

Its been a month and havent received NOA1

hey i have the same problem!..i filled mines on the 19th of sept. its been a month today and NO NEWS yet. i posted a new topic hopefully people can help me...i had just called the CSC and they told me it might take up to 90 days for me to hear anything...i guess that takes a lil load off my shoulders...but still, time is tickin' and i want to c my guy already!!!! hehe

THANKS! i thought it would take 90 days like the lady said it would..im glad it didnt...one month and 4 days to be exact...now i wait for the NOA2 hopefully it gets here soon, it'd be nice if it came b4 Christmas, that would be a great present...if not, ill guess ill continue to be patient ...how are things with you?

thanks for the replies..i called the CSC and they said that now its taking up to 90 days for me to receive something..i guess now i wait 2 more months for it...gosh.hopefully i get it soon...she also said if i dont hear anything after 90 days to call back..hopefully that wont be the case...

hey guys...

im really stressing about this

...i sent out the I-129F last sept 19 2007 at the post office here in Riverside California. the employee there said it would probably get there in 2 days if not the next day. Its been a month and i still havent recieved any notice saying they've recieved it. and the $455 filling fee is still in my bank and has not been cleared!!!

Ive been reading forums and timelines and ive seen that most took about 2 weeks for them to know if they service center has recieved it and about the same time for the check to be cleared...is there a number i can call to speak with someone personally and not those recordings??! im really stressing about this, so if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

6 Months and waiting

im in the same boat guys...it sucks. people that filed AFTER us has been approved already....wen i call they tell me the same thing. on jan.30 my case was sent to an officer. ever since then nothing has happened.

when i found out about the RFEs trick 2 months ago i was amazed haha..seriously! because prior to that it would take soooo long for me to talk to a live person, but of course, as we all know, they only tell me what i already know...

but yes, i hope things get going after when the officer receives the email from the lady i spoke with.

I tried TB's "trick" today..the lady said that my case is with an officer and is being reviewed..ive heard that already and it has been there since jan.30th. when i said "I'm aware that several files received after mine have already been approved, and the USCIS website clearly says 'we process applications in the order we receive them.' Will you please send an e-mail to the floor...?" she took a long pause, then she informed me that she will send an email to the officer asking what was the status on my case. she told me that i should call back in 2 weeks, but she didnt say i should call back IF I DONT HEAR ANYTHING FROM THEM...

i dont know, hopefully i get my NOA2 soon...

...on a brighter side, at least an email will be sent..

after speaking with the lady, i thanked her SOOOOO Much and wished her GOD BLESS =p
