After you paid DV, text delbros and you should 2 replies from them.... receipt of payment and confirmation of request from USEM. A week after that, you can start calling USEM to check if they already sent your DV to NSO. If they did, you can call in again every week to check if DV is done (before or after your interview). USEM hotline (011-63-2-3012000) is for petitioners, not for beneficiaries to call (according to Grace and Lorraine).

But they say DV is temporarily taken out of the process. *shrugs* I dont know.

That flow chart is not updated.

Now the beneficiary doesnt send the completed forms to the embassy. Instead she'll be bringing it with her on the day of her interview together with all the requirements.

They currently changed the process. Like the beneficiary can choose her interview date and the medical exam at SLMEC is walk in. Compared to before, USEM will be sending you a packet with the forms, list of requirements and your schedule for medical exam and interview.

you can drive for 90 days once u get here with your PI license, i too got a PI driving license and was driving in Manila but was somewhat got scared to drive when we get here, maybe because driving in PI is pretty much different compared driving in the US.. i had to practice around before i was able to get my texas DL.

My son is about 1 when we came here and so we pretty much speak English since hubby doesnt know much about tagalog and but i wanted my son to learn my language and hubby wants that too and so my hubby is self studying tagalog right now and he is teaching my son.. its so much fun when i hear hubby teaching my son like "Ganon" and my son saying NONON and OPO. he cant speak much yet and i started talking to him in tagalog too, based on the survey, children learns language faster than adults.

if you have paid $1010 and only apply for AOS and EAD and later on you needed to apply for AP, you dont need to pay for that since its already included on the fee, just need to fill out the forms and send it with the rest of the requirement. Applying EAD and AP together with AOS isnt free, they are included. Just for clarification smile.gif

Where is your fiancee from? securing Cenomar in Manila takes about 14 days min, well thats where i took mine at NSO macapagal near MOA a year ago, but they say getting it in the province is easier. Or getting it online, but as what they say you may not be able to clear things in 3 days. Definitely need to ask a lawyer

dont worry ull get used to it, i used to miss rice too when we first got here but i got used to it.. and yeah rice is available in every grocery store, i like jasmine rice and we get it by bulk at a Filipino store here but even if i have a sack of rice, i rarely have it.. maybe 2-3 times a week or sometimes only 1x a week or none since my fiance isnt into rice too much. Its just a matter of adapting.. Welcome to the USA

hi, as far as i know, there is no Packet 3 anymore to be sent out to you... You will only get Packet 4 which u can also pick up from SLEC.. I only have Packet 4 and our interview is coming pretty soon. :D

Hello Everyone,

I am so happy now. Last May 31, our approved I-129F was sent to the US Embassy in Manila. Is it correct to assume that my appointment letter will arrive next week? I am so excited booking for our flights already. :-)

Just this morning, I and my child went to her doctor to have her vaccines, which will continue until she finishes all required immunizations (hopefully, in 2 months). Good thing, our company will reimburse it. As for me, I had these vaccines last year as part of my employment benefits so no probs (it pays to be in a big company). I have one problem though, I can not locate her immunization record. I had her vaccinated at the local health center here. Anybody here knows what are the health center standard vaccines for infants? She was born Nov 2001, if this helps.


hi, my son got his shots from a private doctor but i checked at local health centers what vaccines are they giving for infants... BCG, OPV (oral polio vaccine), DPT, HepaB and Measles.. btw, opv, dpt and hepab has boosters.. hope it helps.

Hi there timcass_12.The NSO is responsible in delivering of our document verification results to the USEM.I paid mine June 10th and txt Delbros right away then called Delbros and talked to Robbie June 17th and he told me that they already forwarded my document verification request form to NSO on June 16th.Then I asked how long it will take and he answered " The turnaround time of NSO to produce a result is within the range of 1 to 4 weeks.US Embassy will receive the result from the NSO as soon as it is ready."

They also sent me that in txt.So i dont know why NSO said that Delbros is the one who is responsible in delivering the results according to your post whistling.gif

I spoke with an Embassy representative on the phone yesterday. This person called Delbros who then provided the feedback that they sent my request on June 13. In this case, Delbros will deliver the result to USEM.

At least we know they are working on the June 10 cases now!

When sending anything via the U.S. Postal Service, ALWAYS use Registered Mail. This will ensure that your package will NOT be opened by anybody except for the person receiving it. It's the most secure method of sending mailings via the U.S. Postal Service. My fiancee lives in Metro Manila, and although the package only takes 5 days to get to the PI, it still takes them an additional 3-4 weeks for her to receive it. We have never had any problems with this method and same with my stepmother and stepaunt who've been sending Registered Mail for at least 10 years.

The other options are Fedex, DHL, or UPS. I've Fedex and DHL; because these couriers don't enter the Philippines' postal system, the packages are delivered more efficiently.
