jamesnrei: So many things to do so little time. I've been looking at my options in UTSA. Hoping I could afford it tongue.gif. Learning the roads, it's so confusing. We live close to the highway so going in and out is easy, memorizing the road names are difficult. We'll get married in a week or two. It's matts exam week so I'm helping him study and all. The kungfu classes are fun hahaha. I don't know about GP but here in SA there are Asian markets that sells our toyo, suka & seasonings like silvers swan, mang tomas, ajinomoto, mama sitas, durian.....etc. Ted-Mex foods are okay but I don't think I can eat it everyday hehe. Starbucks is expensive here grrrrrr their venti frappucino is $6 while it's only PhP150 there whaaaaaaaa. I can't seem to shake off converting everything to peso hahaha. I love the gadgets in here. All in all, im having fun. Whatever stuff it is that I'll miss from PH, I'm sure I'll get over it. Just needs some getting used to. smile.gif I'm sure you will love it in here.

M@C: Nope, mine was released on Wednesday. They release visas any weekday i think. Friday however is relatively important for DV. But there are cases where DV was released from USEM on a wednesday. So that still confuses me. 6 weeks eh? Thats a generic answer.

Its crazy over here. So far im having so much fun. I think my jetlag is gone. Im still adjusting to the time and climate. The temperature is pretty much the same as in the Philippines. BUT its dry heat. I get dehydrated faster, my skin goes dry faster. So jamesnrei, when you get here, make sure you buy a lot of moisturizer with spf for your face and lotion for your body. The food is great (so far), its just in huge portions... and i really mean HUGE. We found a Filipino resto/grocery, 3 asian groceries (with Filipino toyo, suka.... and spices like mama cita, ajinomoto... durian.... etc.).

On Halloween, we went to Terror Mansion. Not all that scary but it was fun going thru the rooms. The clown room scared me sh*tless. I dont like clowns. Then we went to 6th street in Austin, Texas for Halloween. It was crazy.... with the costumes.... the theme was boobs and butts hahaha.

I forgot about our time difference..... so when i come on.... all of you are asleep. Dang!

Natassja: I posted my POE. I hope it'll be helpful for you. You'll go thru Detroit, right? Dont lock your checked luggage. Lock it with cable ties instead, thats what i did. TFA wont allow it. So if they want to open it, they'll just cut the cable ties. Make sure all the pasalubong is sealed and declare it all so they'll be no problems with the customs check.
