K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	CSC or NCSC e-mail address?	Your fiancee has to be single when she arrives in the US otherwise she will be violating her fiance visa terms. Getting married here while she's on K1 would constitute FRAUD resulting to consequences you may not even want to think about. Unlike Thailand, the Philippines do not have "unofficial ceremonial wedding". Maybe you can ask for a priest's blessing but I'm sure that would be unacceptable to her parents/relatives. Suggestions: 1) Have a civil wedding in the US then come back to the Philppines for the traditional wedding after your fiance gets her AP. 2) Abandon K1, get married in the Philippines then apply K3. God, I couldn't stand it if she were banned from entering the U.S. for up to 10 years. I think we will have to follow your 1st suggestion and return to the Philippines later to be married in front of her family. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	CSC or NCSC e-mail address?	Hello everyone, I've seen in other posts that members had sent an e-mail to the CSC and in doing so had their cases touched. Well, while I certainly do wish to be touched that is not my reason for asking for the e-mail address. I don't know why, but I just haven't been able to find an e-mail address for either the CSC or the NCSC. Maybe it is because I need some sleep. In any case, I wish to ask them (and I've asked this question before here in the K1 forum) if after our petition (God willing) is approved and my fiancee's interview results in approval, her Visa in hand, can we marry there in the Philippines before I accompany her back home to the U.S.A.? When I posed this question some time ago I received replies such as this (and I'm paraphrasing) : "You might try marrying on Friday, flying back home on Saturday and hope it doesn't catch up to you later." "Have an unofficial ceremony there in the Philippines and make it official once you are back in the U.S." "It may be considered immigration fraud, as the spouse would be entering into the U.S. under a Fiancee Visa." Yet, I swear I remember talking to a friend of mine who brought her husband over here to the U.S. (they were married overseas) and she told me that many will apply for which ever petition(s) (K1/K3 or both) are moving the fastest at the time. Anyone? The reason I ask this is because many of my Fiancee's family of course would like to witness our marriage ceremony and my Fiancee feels that an unofficial ceremony would not be liked or accepted by her family members. After seeing another couple with the same NOA1 date (Feb. 15) as ours (my Beloved Joynelyn and I) had received their NOA2 from CSC, I thought for sure our case would at least get a touch. But still nothing. I had thought I learned to be quite a patient person dealing with an international relationship, but at times I get so caught up with anticipation it can sting when I don't see any movement with our case. And so what I tend to do is refer to the VJ estimate for the adjudication of our case. Currently it is June 3rd and so I tell myself to relax a little. Good luck. I sent K1 petition to TSC on 4/24, the NOA1 says recieved at CSC on 2/27, *notice date* 5/2, I got it in the mail on 5/6. So I registered online w/ USCIS I'm now I'm noticing the date on the website stating *Last updated 5/4*. Was I touched? Does it really even matter? I want to notice being touched Well, at least from this point on, when the date changes, I'll know I was touched! But just for the record.... was I? Noura Hi Noura, Yeah, it basically means that your petition has been filed. I hope you don't have to wait too long for your NOA2 like a lot of us going through CSC. Good Luck! Note the missing "t" in petition, the lack of spaces between the two sentences and the spelling of "receipted" instead of "received". Oh, and never mind that they have and are processing dates after February 3, 2006! Interesting. Someone was in a hurry to answer, or they're hiring mexicans sorry You know, I chuckled having the same thought as well when I first read the reply. Thanks for the replies everyone. When I wanted to go back to the account page I clicked the back button on my tool bar and was sent to a page that said that there was a "Security Violation." #######! I should have clicked the button on the page to return to our account page. I immediately sent an e-mail to the CSC explaining what I did and what had happened. And while I was at it I went ahead and ask about our case status and got this in reply: "Your peition is being processed.We are currently processing petitions receipted February 3, 2006." Where is your timeline here. What does "In the middle of the...process,..." mean. Months, weeks? If it is truly in the middle of the process, don't get married yet and stick with the K1.
