That's good, we've got some movement. He was just here for 2 weeks - already 2 weeks have passed and it feels like an eternity.   I've missed it - why are you expecting an RFE?   PS: i found your site in your profile and you're so cute! And the dog is adorable.   Doing normal, every day stuff with him is the best. Sometimes it almost feel like you are a normal married couple, doest it?   As for the RFE, my husband did not like how the G-325a I sent him did not match his american papers (we use A4 in Europe), so he photocopied it and sent in a photocopy. What did you say about who and why you were visiting, anything about the visa, etc.? My husband and I were reading yesterday that a single denial on the VWP results in an outright ban for future entries on it, and we're both a bit spooked. I have less to worry about when visiting him since I'm not the one immigrating, but he's pretty nervous about what his experience will be next time he comes to the US. The last customs officer he dealt with was a real piece of work, and that was without ever asking about who he was visiting and why.     I had no problems with entering the country. This is my third time since the wedding. They asked who I was visiting, why, when my husband is coming home (then I said he was an American and I am visiting him while still finishing grad school in my country), when I will finish school, when will I leave, why am I staying so long (5 weeks - because I can, lol).   They did not ask about when I intend to immigrate or if we were doing IR-1/CR-1, so I did not mention it. I had my NOA1 ready to show, though.   He asked to see my return ticked, which is something I have not been asked for more than a year and a half... so I did not print it out. I completely forgot about it. I showed him my itinerary on my phone, he saw San Antonio - New York - Frankfurt on Sept 22nd and was happy with that.   I got stamped for 6 months - 1 day, no I94 in my passport since they are electronic now and that was it.      He was not in a good mood or chatty, but not rude or unpleasant either. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2013 I-130 Filers (merged)	[whining]   I've been with my husband for three weeks now. Two more, and then I have to go back home. I already hate it. I am sick and tired of this. Literally. I want to keep holding his hand while he sleeps and waking up to him. I wanna have more sundays like yesterday: we did not do anything! We went to the pool, watched a movie, ordered some pizza, he watched football on and off during the day, in the evening we walked the dogs.   It was perfect.     At home I will be alone and I will miss him and this whole thing sucks. Add to that the fact that we are waiting for a RFE, not NOA2 ... Urgh. My husband called USCIS, he could not get Tier 2 because of "technical problems", so he spoke to Tier 1. She said she would not recommend sending anything in without RFE because it might get lost.    Idk what to do with this now. It will not impact your future petitions from what I have read.   DCF is faster generally 3x faster than the normal I-130 route.        Speaking of all those NOA2 that are MIA, I wish all May filers had theirs by now. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	June 2013 I-130 Filers (merged)	Im the petitioner and my wife is overseas and what I've ben told is that the petition gets aproved inbthe nbc not at a feeld office by a ter 2 suoervisor Please start writing below the quote, this is getting confusing. Since Aug 15th, 2012 petitions were being sent to local field offices. However, if the petitioner was overseas (not the beneficiary, petitioner!) then there was no local office and then petitions stayed at NBC and got approved there (quickly, so people call this "auto-expedite"). I'm going to be watching field office volumes like a hawk over the coming months and hoping to see a drop-off in receipts. US Citizenship General Discussion	3 mos. state residency requirement	I am eligible to naturalize in January 2011, we are planning a 2 mos. vacation (Oct-Dec) in my home country. Can i go on a vacation prior to filing? I am a little confused as there is a 3 mos. state residency requirement, I am not sure if that means i have to be here 3 mos. prior to filing. I'm about to file my N-400 but I'm confuse, my son is 6 yrs old and I dont know if I should file a seperate form for him or just wait till I become a US citizen then file for him, any info will help, thanks. Minor child under 18 will automatically be a US citizen when his/her parents became one... US Citizenship General Discussion	Oath Taking Ceremony?	I have my oath taking on 09/22/11 (Congratulations to me!!) at 2PM here in San Antonio, TX. I have a class at 5pm that day and an exam that I cannot miss. It says on the notice I have to show up there at 11:45AM then visitors can come in at 2pm for the ceremony. My main question is how long is the proper ceremony?? Is that like an hour or two? I know it depends on how many names they will call but would that even take 2 - 3 hours? Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	TRAVELLING WHILE I-7S1 IN PROCESS	Hi, I am going to file my papers on the 11/07/07 and my current green card doesnt expire until 02/07/08. I'll be traveling back home in Dec and be back Dec 31st, so way before my green card expires. I know this may have been asked before but if I dont get my NOA before I leave, do I need to make an infopass to have my passport stamped or am I good with my current greencard since it doesnt expire until next yr Feb. Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion	Approval Notice	Hi Guys, Just wanted to let you guys know that I received my approval notice in the mail today. My application online says it hasnt been touched since the day after my biometrics on January 3rd and I didnt get any email and the application is still showing pending. Below is my timeline. Sent I-751 to CSC NOA1 - Nov 27, 2007 online but the notice itself said 10/15/07 eventhough I didnt submit until mid novemeber Biometrics- Jan 2, 2008 NOA 2- March 12, 2008(Approval notice) The strange thing is that my I-130 was never approved and it got approved Feb of this year. My I-130 was even toi\uched 03/09/08 and I was beginning to think they forgot about my current application. Anyways, I will just be waiting on the card itself. I hope this helps some people out. Canada	Working prior to EAD/AOS	I'm glad to find a subforum that has Canadians on here. I asked for the EAD stamp at my POE in Blaine, WA and they looked at me like I was speaking french. (sorry Quebecers) I'm from Vancouver. Now I'm living in San Antonio, TX. I was just wondering can I work right now while on a K-1? I've already got married and applied for the required AOS/EAD/AP?
