Unless they're eliminating the surcharge which I highly doubt, as it would have been mentioned in the fee changes. Yeah, I remember when my husband would just visit for just a weekend and then have to fly back home. Woods tied a 38th place with +3. Masters ended yesterday in Augusta, GA. Picnics are great! It wasn't a "usual" picnic though - just grabbed a pizza and sat in the truck in the middle of nowhere (it was windy and cold, so this worked better). Wow, 38th place? Remember, there's a $74 surcharge ($330 + $74 = $404). The new fee is $230, so $230 + $74 = $304. So, it's only $100 savings. And wow, nice!!! That is an awesome deal for a t-shirt AND transfer! *gets money ready* Yeah, I don't know. I am pretty sure you're right but the person on the phone specifically said "saving $200" so...I won't get my hopes up that they're right. I've learned enough to know you usually know more than they do (What a delay in response time though, eh? ) And, haven't ironed the shirts yet but probably will today. I agree on the AOS package - and I was quoting what the girl told me. She sent me a link, and it seems the total price is going from 404 to 230 so...who knows? I was gonna suggest earlier for folk to actually wait , to not pay the IV FEE BILL until after the 13th, and if they have one NOW, to wait till after the 13th, then take a look at the payment portal - if it's dropped, then pay. If it not drop, then ask for a new IV fee bill reflecting the price change. That's a good suggestion! After speaking with the op, I couldn't even get them to send the invoice they have now - saying "I'll pay $400, my husband is worth it" gets a chuckle but they really can't do anything. They've put all IV bills on hold effective this past Wednesday (the 4th) so they could adjust invoices accordingly. If anyone's in my boat waiting for the IV invoice, they aren't releasing those until Friday when the fees drop by almost $200. Spoke to a supervisor last night, who told me that. (on the upside, apparently our AOS package was reviewed and accepted, just waiting on the fee still...weird...) And now...I am off to get more snuggles Talk later, and have a WONDERFUL Saturday! It's fun to make them, I enjoy to do this, each time I do it. It's some work, though, so I make 300 at a time. That sounds kind of yummy...we ukrainians make perogies. OK, I have a REALLY bizarre situation....and am wondering if this has ever happened to anyone. So online it says my AOS bill is paid, and I have the receipt and everything. But I just went into my bank account, and all the money is still there, nothing has been deducted. WHAT IS GOING ON??? I have the opposite problem...the money's left the bank account but the payment portal hasn't moved. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - April 2012	OK this is what the doctor's report shows :" HIGH RISK PREGNANCY" and she has many restrictions and recommendations too. They set her more than 3 appointment for this month after the one she went to yesterday and have lot of other test for this month only, i do not know for May. The doctor was also fighting to have baby open her fingers so they could see what the report from the old ultrasound where they stated baby's finger are abnormal. She opened only 2 while the doctor was using something( i do not know it s name ), then she close them again. they will make other test about that too ...if you have a copy of the doctor's report, why don't you just send that to NVC as proof of high risk pregnancy? The more details the better - that way, they can see EXACTLY what the doctor said to your wife....it's worth a shot, and then you could just finish your expedite! CBP rushed him through, once he explained everything to them, so he wouldn't be late for his last minute flight. But I digress.. this isn't about me. If it's her first baby the ligaments holding the uterus stretch and it hurts like hell. It's normal. Very painful, but normal. I had it with my first and fourth baby. (fourth baby had oligo, low amniotic fluid, and wasn't supported properly, I spent three months in hospital, on complete bed rest, hooked up to IVs. He was still born five weeks early) WOW. Tuesday my wife was at emergency room of an hospital because there was a pain under her belly while she was using the restroom, it was so painful that she couldn t even make a step. When she get there they kept her for 4 hours at the hospital, she was suffering a lot. It is difficult for her to go to work. Sometimes she cna not even leave her room to walk to the restroom. they require her to lay down on her left side every day at least one hour per day and she has many other restrictions, i think this is more than urgent, she is still under high risk pregnancy according to the doctor ( her new one and old one) If they are able to say it's high risk pregnancy, you should have no problem getting the letter from them. You may think it's "more than urgent," but your doctor must be able to back that up and give you a letter indicating this, as NVC requested. You need to get that letter. The doc can't back up an emergency if there is none. You are exactly right. If the doctor said there was an emergency, but the tests proved otherwise - AND the mom was able to work, the doctor would be LYING and probably able to be thrown in jail or fined, just like any of us for lying in this process. Even my wife told him that she will not do it, he insisted and told her she needs to think about it during the weekend and come on monday with her decision. My wife told him right way, that her decision is made she is keeping the baby. He said, :" then your baby will be miserable all her life" Talk to a lawyer. They can help.
