Mine wasn't - she even made a meat thing once that my mom refused to let us touch (she saw what Baba put in it, lol). Mom learned to cook from HER baba, so I learned vicariously from the best - my mom's baba was an AMAZING cook Shell i wont's mind if you give me the recipe too you know.. It's simply a front piece with a magnet and then a back piece with a magnet, and you put your ear (or other body part) in between, and they're magnetized to each other, thus staying on the body part. A potato? Yeah, I'd prefer a maple leaf. Proud to be Canadian and all LOL graciously accepted, and promptly stored with the medical exam x-rays, said green lolly As for the Canadian bit...I found a bib for when/if we have kids. Yeah, my husband always tells me tattoos aren't bad, but he's got a different level of pain tolerance than I do. And if I ever do go for one, I was planning on starting with a tiny one, of a red maple leaf Yuck! LOL. It's the crusty immigration lolly Magnetic earrings?! After I got my blood test and flu vaccine done, I got up, was a little woozy, and was instructed to sit back down. I then got a little glass of orange juice and, upon my request, a lollipop Nice! Lollipops are awesome - the sushi restaurant near here has "mystery" (aka cream soda) flavor. What flavor did they give you? I had my ears pierced when I was about 7, but it only lasted for about a day. Couldn't take the pain. I'd love to have earrings though LOL...they make clip on earrings you know? And tattoos... yeah... I've got ideas already of what tattoos I want, but I don't have the guts at all to get them done. Even though my husband (who has 20+ tattoos) encourages me Perhaps one day, in the far, far future. Tattoos aren't bad! I have 3 and trav has one. Why does it seem like most of the people on this forum are women? I was shocked to discover that until about 3 months into the I-130 process, my husband didn't even know what our USCIS case number was, even though he knew I'd been checking on our case online. He also makes fun of the number of posts I've made on these forums. I honestly think that if he had to do it all himself, we'd still be double-checking forms for the I-130! LOL! That's a funny observation - but you do seem to be right! In a lot of cases (not all, but a lot), it seems the women are the ones obsessing, preparing, documenting, etc, etc, etc...My husband, as sweet and lovely and wonderful as he is, hasn't got an organizational bone in his body. That's where I come in It occurs to me sometimes that this immigration process is probably a terrible way to begin a marriage... I sometimes fantasize about letting go of the reigns entirely and just saying, "Well the rest is up to you. Check the forums if you have questions about what happens next or what phone numbers you should be calling. Good luck, honey!" Think you're right...this process will either make or break you. It's not easy and certainly not for everyone. It's hard, but HOPEFULLY worth every second! Never ever had one before, so I was extremely nervous, on top of being afraid of needles (and then finding out I needed a flu shot as well on the same day, same arm ). They reviewed the marriage termination document that I had originally sent for my wife's IV paakcet and deemed it was acceptable and her case is now closed! I feel so relieved after nearly a week of feeling stressed out due to them rejecting the document the first time around. I asked Nigel if the interview had been scheduled for either case, he told me nothing has been scheduled yet. Now to call the wife and give her the good news! Wow, congratulations!!!
