IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - April 2012	In your case, an expedite will get you a case complete real fast (without sending in any packages, depending how long it takes for the expedite to be processed) and possibly even a faster interview date. Then, you'd more than likely bring the packages to the interview as well as paying the fees (if you didn't get a chance to pay them at NVC). Keep in mind, if the AOS is invoiced, then pay it. Don't wait on the expedite approval. If the IV is invoiced, again, don't wait, pay it. If the AOS appears as PAID, send the AOS package. If you look at Neela's case, even though they sent an expedite request, they still had time to pay bills and send the AOS package (and possibly the IV package and DS-260. This way, you're not wasting any time. You got it, dude! That sounds like an amazing plan. We can do that! I can't wait to get it ready tonight Should I just send it tonight?? And yeah, this is the congressman who's been making their presence known since last Friday - this is quite odd, from what I can gather! You can mention that as well And make sure in the subject line it says: 'ATTN: Supervisor Sue' then I'd probably include your case number behind that. In the body, have both your names, birth dates, and email addresses. And then have your letter about requesting an expedite. Then attach the documents, mentioning in the body which documents you're including. Include the letter as the first page in the attachment. Sounds like a good plan. Yep, was at USCIS for over 6 months actually - almost 200 days. I'm going to review exactly what to say to Supervisor Sue once I'm done work. Now...does it still go to the main nvc email? And I don't know about your name. It baffles me that they used it in the first place. Once this is all straightened out, I'd suggest trying for an expedite, mentioning that it's been X amount of days since getting your case number to getting an AOS invoice, that Trav's birth date was wrongly inputted, and that your name was very wrongly inputted, all due to NVC error. It might work You know...THAT is an excellent idea! As soon as I pay the AOS invoice, I am sending my request along with my supporting documentation of their errors (trav's birth cert, my passport and our marriage cert) to Supervisor Sue. They range in ages from 15 to almost 7, so I have a long time to keep watching lol My 13 year old daughter loves Disney and is quite the artist. Her dream is to work in either animation or the music end of the business for Disney. I told her 'why not do both?' She is in the Talented and Gifted Program through her school and on Saturdays she goes to the local community college for classes. And he got REALLY angry when I was denied the second time at the border. Once we got back to the car (and out of sight of the border officers) my dad threw his passport in the back seat and said some really colorful words about the US. And yes, I only Google Maps to get all my directions: http://maps.google.com/ Plus, they have this handy "Street View" so, you can see your surroundings in almost 3D which can help at times. For example, the US Consulate in Montreal using Street View: http://maps.google.c...339.08,,0,23.38 Trav's parents/grandmother talk frequently about how proud they WERE to be from the US, how proud they WERE that they've had family there for over 200 years...and how embarrassed they are BECOMING. It's really sad, I mean - he's had family in every single war the US fought in, they are proud patriotic people, and they are becoming disheartened in spite of their patrioticism, all thanks to the bureaucracy. When I said "please send the corrected one"...that apparently meant "stick this in the mountain of paper that you didn't send." LOL. It was also fixed fast, so I can overlook that one. Finally Monday evening I got the IV bill. Now it seems like an eternity until it shows paid! Poor Shell staring at a SIF for two weeks. My heart breaks for her. I'm getting mad at them too - they wrote the congressman calling me by my ex's last name. Sorry NVC, I haven't been that name in a LONG time. Get it freakin right, that's so disrespectful. I sent them yet another email with my marriage certificate and passport copy in color saying CHANGE IT NOW, THE SURNAME IS LOWMAN, NOT RUSSELL! (They can't even spell my ex's last name right either.
