They prefer to keep fresh information for themselves and forward the original old stuff they received. So much more fun to make you send in your new information AGAIN. After CC I called NVC to inform them that my husband's address in the USA, thus the address where I intend to live and where I want to receive the GC, had changed. They told me it was updated, and I didn't need to bring updated forms (DS230 and I864) to the interview. At the interview, they had never heard of the new address, and they wanted updated forms. Glad I brought them anyway... All (and I do mean all) applications submitted to NVC will be using all current information, including addresses/names/birthdate, etc. As of now, their system SHOULD be reflecting our correct details. Jeez, did they just glance at your file and start randomly typing in stuff for your file without double-checking? You definitely deserve an expedite. LOL...yeah, I didn't even mention the address error in the expedite letter. I think they let the new monkeys loose on my file LOL. And they must not have fed them enough bananas At least with the address, it was a former address - but we had formally changed it with USCIS and the update should have been included with our package. Although, if you do it correctly, you can, without doing much effort, make the officer realise the effect that this process is doing to you two with all these errors. Done. Fact is, I can verify that they were calling me by a name that USCIS didn't even have on record...I can provide a cover page to my I-130 for them to compare with the letter they sent my congressman to back it up. Fact also is, that seems to be what wrecked my file. I can sob-story this, or throw it at them... Each time i post about it, it is just to feel released, to show my emotion, how bad i want to get one. You guys will be scheduled an interview before i do for my embassy take 2 to 4 months. What is the point of teasing you with my interview date? LOL...travell. I like that. (I am the Shell half of Trav&Shell lol) As for me taking it wrong, it doesn't feel like I took it wrong when you say "I'll get my interview date and then we can talk about your invoice." Do you see? We are all just as stressed as you. We do understand, and we do feel for you...but let me put it into perspective. How fast did you get through USCIS? It took me almost 200 days - that's over 6 months. Some people even took longer. So...we have ALL been waiting for a long time.
