IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2012	It's definitely not as bad as the NOA2 wait... but that being said, there's still a scary range of time people have to wait to get the interview date. One person I've messaged recently is still waiting at 6 weeks. Another person found out the day after case complete. So if you'd like to have any kind of clear expectations of when your spouse will be in the US, it's still pretty stressful I like the first part of the NVC stuff better... something fun happening every few days! Not always true...I'm watching everyone get invoices but me, and when I phone to ask why I've been seeing "your case is in the process of termination" for the last week, all they say is "that's why we say it takes 10-20 days." I usually call them twice a day Only 2 times a day? When waiting for my case number I called 4 times LOL... AOS paid, barcode sheet printed and scanned, AOS package is ready to roll! My husband is so stereotypical beer drinking, hockey loving, eh and aboat saying Canadian. I laugh at him a lot lol. LOL oh no. I can sing along pretty much word for word with Take Off and the 12 days of Christmas (On the first day of christmas my true love gave to me....beer....LOL!!!!!!!!!) Wow, only things I have on that list are Eh and Aboat (apparently, ask Trav LOL). I too get laughed at...a lot! I feel for your husband, man...sure know his "pain" on this one The thing I don't get is that you have 50 million pair of shoes but whenever it is time to go out you always wear those same ones all the time. If you loved shoes so much you wouldn't keep them in the darkness of some corner of the closet, you would have prefered them being displayed under bright lights in the shop windows instead! Ahem...I'm a woman...and I have about 4 pairs of shoes. Two at work, one pair of runners, and one pair of flip flops. And one of those is going in the garbage when I leave here! OMG just so got a picture of Bob and Doug in my head... Trent only orders gravy for his fries. He did it here at a McDonald's one day and the poor 16 year old girl looked at him like he was on drugs. I laughed and said McDonald's doesn't sell gravy for their fries dear, nor are there packs of vinegar sitting out. (he has to have gravy or vinegar) And ketchup in Canada tastes way different than it does here! Funny you should mention Bob and Doug... LOL...click on my link of goodness! Either this mythical EPA sticker is well hidden, or it's blown off at some point.I finally found an email to have Triumph issue the stupid thing. We're driving for our POE but flying to Montreal. More that likely we'll fly round trip from Calgary. Flying in and out of there is outrageous enough with their stupid fees. My one way flight from Knoxville to Grand Forks, ND so I can pick up our truck will be dirt cheap! So there's a yay! (Watch the truck have four flat tires and a dead battery when I get there...) The sticker must have a +2 cloak of invisibility. I give it major props for using it at the "best" time! LOL...don't tempt fate, just believe "the truck will be fine, the truck will be fine..." IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - March 2012	Well, according to Delta's site, I'd need 25,000 miles, plus $70 to get from an airport in a city 2 hours from me to get to Montreal. I'd prefer to fly out of the airport here in town, but it's tiny, so it'll cost more. And I only joined Delta's membership when I met my husband I believe. It might have been earlier, but either way, I've only had about 4-5 flights and gotten that much. Just wish I had a couple thousand more so I could fly to Canada and back for free OOOOOO...I should look. Trav's had two flights already, will have two more next weekend, and then two to Montreal. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - April 2012	Can you repeat what exactly was the mistake? It is hard to kepe track with so many pages. They entered my file with a surname that was nowhere on my USCIS application - a surname I've never had (it was similar to one I DID have, but it was incorrect). They were unable to invoice me until I fixed my name with them, but they were ALSO unable to tell me what was wrong (because they couldn't find the error). They were also unable to tell me (or the congressman) why our invoices weren't generating, or how I could fix the problem - I had to keep throwing papers and instructions at them until they figured it out. Just got off the phone with my wife, she just makes me smile. She was at a doctor 's appointment, they made ultrasound for her, she is 6 months now. They congratulate her because the baby is very active, was playing in her belly and that she is very beautiful. They took 3D pictures of her, they keeps saying that baby is so so beautiful. i am so proud... She looks like me, she got my wife's eyes and her sister's nose and my face... That is awesome!
