Did you use it on ANY of the forms so far (USCIS or NVC)? They really are...it's ODD! I think I mentioned it in USCIS only once under the previous names question - but we APPLIED with me using my married name as my primary name. When they ask my name I say "Richelle Lowman" and they don't bat an eye. The former name was the name mentioned on the marriage certificate (however NVC misspelled it too!)... Maybe you'll zoom right through this process LOL maybe...I'm already getting SIF after submitting my DS-261 this morning AND they've already updated Trav's birthdate...just got an email confirmation! Only thing is - Now I have another question. For some reason, when I get emails from them they list the primary beneficiary (me) with my FORMER last name (which does not show on any of my ID). I've changed my name to my husband's last name, and every time I call they have no issues with me calling myself by my married name. Think this is going to be a problem? Also I have seen a few posts about "scanning pages, some 42" and also talk of the "resolution" of those documents. Can someone please fill me in. It's hard to catch what y'all are talking about. Thanks. LOL yep...optin emails are to opt into the EP processing...that's been a hot topic lately with the amount of Canadian case numbers being issued lately As for the scanning pages - that's for the AOS package, we scan in our documents but each scanned file has to be under a certain size so we have to play with the resolution of the scanner. And yay for the DS-261 being sent! Should be accepted soon (no way to know though except for the IV being invoiced). BAHAHAHAHAHA...they accepted BOTH optin emails. Unfortunately, my optin email was rejected before they got to that email. I was panicking, until JR at NVC was super helpful. He told me to resend the optin emails using the correct birthdate AS WELL AS the one they incorrectly had on file, and one of them would stick. So...I did that. Sigh. JR better be right. Lol. Now since we been using a lawyer she will recive an email with all this info, but since I like to be ahead I emailed her as soon as I got off the phone. Told her that we got our case numbers and this and that... She's been good and fast with everything so I know she'll get on it asap Congrats!! Did you get the IIN and BIN too? And getting my first ever blood test done. Ugh. *remembers nearly passing out* You never had a blood test before then? Oh wow. I'm jealous. I was misdiagnosed with something a few years back, and it meant three months of daily blood tests. The docs found out they were wrong and I stopped getting daily blood tests - YAY! He gave me the account info for the money, and I have all the things for electronic documents. We tried him sending packages - and I"m SO surprised we didn't get at least two RFE's!!!!
