Our game plan is for wifey to get to Bogota on a Thursday, have the labs done on a Friday and from there the lab people themselves forward the results to the Doctor's office. We then have an appointment set up for Monday for her Medical Exam (that way it gives her the weekend to kind of relax before the Exam) and finally she has the Interview on Wednesday @ 8:30 AM. She is schedule to fly back home on Thursday (the day after the Interview). That's pretty much in a nutshell our game plan to wrap up this visa process LOL I know - attitude is VERY important through this thing. I don't know WHERE I'd be without Trav - actually, when he freaks out I bring him back to earth, and he does the same for me. It's nice Your plan sounds really good - and mostly stress free! Are you going to the interview with her or no? MY AOS FEE JUST POSTED!!!!!!!! yes yes yes i paid paid paid (ok i only paid once loll) AOS packet content: Document Cover sheet (from the payment) My cover letter (signed and dated) I-864 EZ (page 5 Signed and dated) Letter of Employment (signed by HR since april 6th) 6 most recent pay stubs 2011 Taxes and W-9 2010 Taxes and W-9 (the transcript got shreaded accidenlty) 2009 Tax transcrip and W-9. Have you tried a lower strength, or are you OK if you are distracted? LOL, I know that's the point - but completely incapacitated for 30 hours is definitely not a good idea. That was a really low dose of a prescription - may look into Gravol or something (and may take only half a tablet). I've been ok on flights with just distraction before, but the flights I end up on lately tend to be really turbulent (think cracking head into the window or the overhead storage), so we'll see... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - May 2012	I keep saying it - there's drugs for this. Yes, you do - noted. Those drugs knock me on my backside - can't handle 'em. I will just plug in my music and try to sleep (or watch a movie...). Distraction helps. I like making analysis, i was just reading an Haiti member that Got her Case comple Feb 15th, her interview will be May 11th. I found that on April 10th the Embassy received her case ( april 10th is 1 month before her interview, 2 month After her CC and April 10th is not the second week of April). Thus, by May 10th not MAy 15th as operator keep chanting it, i should be able to know if i will have a June interview and the case will be sent to the embassy 1 month before the June interview ( May something...) . I'm more anxious than anything else but patiently waiting for the 24th of May since my wife has to flight to the capital (Bogota) a week prior to her interview to get the Labs and Medical exam done Anxious is a better way to describe the feeling! How long do the lab results take in Bogota? Does she get to take them home with her? Trav's been trying to calm me down about all the flying, and it seems to be working (he says "look, do you claim to have any faith that God's getting us through this? If you do - STOP WORRYING! Do you think He'd get us this far just for nothing? Please relax - you WILL be fine, I JUST know. "). "Can you give me some kind of estimate on how long of a notice a person usually gets from Montreal so plans can be made?" "In my experience, it seems Montreal usually gives about a three week notice at the very least for appointments. They may be waiting for your anniversary date to get closer so an IR-1 Visa can be issued. But that's just speculation on my part." "Thanks Lisa, you're a gem." They don't do it anymore because water is fluoridated now a days. And we had to have that gross gel in the Styrofoam teeth trays every time we went to the dentist. Bubble gum flavored my A** When I lived waaay out past the middle of no where, we had well water, and my two biggles had to have fluoride treatments at the dentist as soon as they got teeth. But they got better tasting stuff. OH man that gel in a tray...wow. My dentist had marshmallow flavored, and a few fruit flavors. They weren't bad But still...oh wow...and that suctiony hose - wow! That was the oral Polio vaccine. I don't remember the sugar cubes but I remember the stupid fluoride swishy rinse that tasted like gross in a cup. I edited my post and was asking about the need for a polio vaccination. It's not listed on the immunization requirements on Dr. Seiden's site, but Sheeshkabelle listed it in the table she posted. Do I need to include polio in the list as well?? Thanks! Actually, there's a Tetanus/Diptheria/pertussis vaccine that also comes combined with inactivated polio.
