Hope it doesn't take them long to send it to you. LOL...you're exactly right - it's like, the second they send any file somewhere it enters the black hole and no one can find it. With all the confidential information in these files, that's a bit scary! I loged on to the payment portal and i saw my info for AOS and IV . So this is going to keep me happy for at least the rest of the week. Once i log in and see an Invoice for the AOS, pay it? or wait for something form NVC? Now all the info i have stored in my brain is a lil foggy from all the waiting. So i tried to study the nvc shortcuts and i know it says ask for your Invoice ID number. But when i get it what do i do? every now and then sign into the payment portal to see if the bill is there? when to email the DS form? What's in the email that NVC is sending? OMG i feel like i just studied for my big final and im sitting in the class room and my head has gone blank . I think i need to go back to the nvc short cut link. The invoice ID number is needed when you log into the payment portal - you can't log in without it! I think it also plays a part in the payments, too. I knew something was different because J.R. asked for the petitioner's name and date of birth, beneficiary's name and date of birth and I hadn't been asked for that information before! Such a relief to finally have a case number and be able to start moving forward again! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! That must be quite the big relief! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - April 2012	Yeah, I'm usually fine with taxes, but having an American husband and moving half way through the year screws things up a bit Along with the CRA/Revenue Quebec messing up with credits and previous relationships ending, even though I informed them I had moved to the US and wrote on last year's taxes that I had separated from my boyfriend and gotten married to someone else And yeah, I'm careful with what I eat It consists of a lot of pizza and pasta Oh, and chocolate, lots of chocolate. LOL...careful, eh? I wish I could be careful like that! HA! And yeah, that's CRA for ya. My ex-bf has been fighting with them for years, trying to get them to adjust his birthdate. They recorded it wrong SO many years ago, and he submits a birth certificate each year - and each year they tell him they can't adjust the date, because the birth certificate is inaccurate. And I don't know if I have to include my husband's US income, and there's other questions that I can't remember. It's just very confusing as to what to do. Plus, I have to send both the CRA and Revenue Quebec a letter as they think I'm still in a common-law marriage with my ex boyfriend Plus, the CRA is still sending me GST or HST (can't remember) credits. So I've got about $120-$180 sitting in my Canadian bank account that I'm not exactly eligible for So, I pretty much look like this while trying to do my taxes --> And I don't like tea, so that's a no go And thanks for the sleep vibes, I definitely need them! And my Canadian taxes, omg I've been popping cough drops every few hours since yesterday. It helps momentarily, but my throat is extremely dry and water doesn't seem to be helping. If I have cough syrup at home, I'm gonna take some once I get home from walking from school at 3pm. If not, more cough drops for me, lol. Just sucks that I have to work tonight when I'd rather not as I'm feeling exhausted from my lack of sleep. But I should be better in no time with some decent sleep (which I hope to get tonight). And bet Trav wasn't expecting that at all! What's wrong with les Canadian taxes? is it just an "exit tax return" style problem?
