K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	visa in hand	Being one of the August 2012 filers with csc I thought it would never happen. Waiting for noa2 (8months) was one of the most depressing times in my life. We did not know what is going on with csc, why they stopped approving us, weeks were going by, seasons were changing and there was absolutely no progress. Some people were saying to get all the docs prepared for when it arrives and it was the most annoying thing to hear, as I thought I had everything ready. And you know what? They were right! I did not think about it at that time but I could have had ds156 filled out months in advance instead of spending entire week trying to figure out exact dates of my multiple entries to the US, searching for old passport and digging inbox for old itineraries. All forms could have been filled out stress free weeks in advance. The interview at the embassy was extremely plesant, the consul did not even look at the thick pile of docs I brought with me. It was maximum 10 min conversation about how we met, relationship between my fiance and my son. What was challenging though, was the entry to the embassy bulding with one small purse and one canvas shopping bag full of forms and papers. The security did not want to let me in with two bags, even after I took out documents, folded the shopping bag and put it inside my purse so it would count as one. I ended up leaving the empty shopping bag out on a street in front of the embassy. Such a nonsense! Oh well, the imigratin path to the US has never been easy :-) Flying off next Tuesday. Three weeks later he wrote me and said to withdraw his visa application (can't really do that, he already has visa in hand) and he does not love me and does not want to marry me. I've started the custody process and child support process. There was another woman in Europe. Now I have all this wedding garbage (decorations and whatnot... including one hell of a ring and dress that I'm holding on to for a little while). I really hope everyone elses stories end better than mine did. I tried calling the NVC as well, and they never picked up, the people at DOS are so nice and very helpful. That's awesome that your case was finally moved to Rio Best of luck!   I'm shocked. I was happy with my baby not crawling all over the place. I was ok before he turned 1. I'm getting to not be ok with things going so fast... The standing, the crawling, the birthday party, the holidays speeding up to us... I'm not ok with any of this now because I should not be the only one watching it happen... I do not want to do any of this or let any of this happen without his dad here to take part in all of these things... I'm trying hard to put on a strong show for people like I'm excited or happy about things but I'm miserable doing these things without him, I hate that he has to miss it, I hate that immigration is taking so damn long, I hate that they make it so hard for people trying to come here legally but will give handouts to those here illegally. I'm drained and I'm stressed and I'm so worried that he won't be able to be here for Christmas and I'm just so frustrated right now with the "when is he coming back" question I get from everyone... and having to answer "i dont know" and feeling that pit in my stomach and the urge to cry and kick and scream and turn into a 2 year old throwing a tantrum just because of a ###### question. I need this to stop happening, I need life to pause. I don't need him to miss his son's first steps...    HURRY UP, STUPID PROCESS!!! YOU'RE KILLING US! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April Filers 2013 K1	Received the NOA1 on April 25th, a week after we filed, and I've yet to hear anything. Our status says that my "alien fiancee's number has been changed" or something to that extent. I called and asked about it and they said it was a computer error and he's sent a request of inquiry, or something... I'm confused and also upset, it feels like something went wrong. Anyone else have to deal with this? Given, it's within the five month window on the USCIS site, but seeing people here getting theirs in 58 days doesn't make me too confident or happy. We are at the California service center.   a request for evidence, there was something missing in your petition or something they need before issuing your approval... you'll get all the info in the mail... dont stress too much, mine was as simple as putting "none" in a box i left blank. You should have one on your NOA1.   For example - EAC1390253701. you can replace the last 3 digits and get the status of the next case. EAC1390253702, EAC1390253703, EAC1390253704...and so on....just keep in mind that not all cases are k-1s so you'll have to read through.   congratulations on your noa2!   totally jealous of all those getting approved. My fiancee accidentally sent photocopies of my bio form ( with sig), part c and part b question 18 ( with his sig) and his intent to marry with incorrect house number. Maybe he got confused between the original and photocopies. =/  We sent all photocopies, no originals. We were told to bring the originals to the interview. I wouldn't stress on it too much. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April Filers 2013 K1	It's going good for me.  I get to visit my man in 17 days (16 1/2 now lol).  I was denied entry last September so I'm praying and hoping for good luck that there won't be any problems at the border this time around.  I need to see him so bad.  But good vibes!  Plus, it's been 2 months, they transferred those 2 months of filers out of our way to texas...it can only be good news.  I am very excited about that.  I feel like within a week or 2 we are going to be seeing Feb filers getting approved.  At least this is what I'm really hoping for.  So I'm optimistic that April filers will start to be approved in August.  Too optimistic? Maybe but a girl can dream. That would be awesome, we are hoping to get married in November... Don't know if it will happen or not... but we hope! My fiancé will be here in 11 days and stays til August so it would be insanely awesome if we got our NOA2 just before he flew back. Either way he will be here for our son's 1st birthday (of course unless thats too close to the interview... then we'll just celebrate it when he gets here!) YAY!!! GO FASTER TIME!! Hoping time flies by. NOA1 - April 9th, CSC bound case, they touched my file 4/15 to change the Alien Registration Number. Made a uscis.gov account so I didn't have to worry about checking my WAC number every time I wanted an update. Very nice to have if you check your case activity daily (or if you're like me and forgot to give them an email address to update you about stuff... and had to go in and give them one on the website after adding the case to your portfolio) in case you are horrible at checking your email but not checking some site you can always just click refresh on	HeyTiffinnie	Not Telling	Brazil	2013-04-20 03:59:00
