PhilippinesSpace Shuttle Catches a Ride
That is an amazing sight to see in person. I have been fortunate to see the 747 carrying the shuttle land here in SW Oklahoma at Altus AFB two times.

If you go here and look at the bottom of the article there is a list of visa-free countries for Philippine nationals. Of course, always reconfirm the information with the visited country before traveling.

PhilippinesK1; do i have to go through another medical exam in the US?

But they don't do a Medical Interview again in USA.

unless it has been more that one year from the date of the medical exam and the date you file AOS, then a new exam will be needed

Or if USCIS happens to misplace your medical exam, which happened to my wife.

PhilippinesAre there any friendly POEs?
My wife's POE was Guam, very easy and hassle-free. Guam is very friendly and many of the Immigration Officers are Filipino. On Continental, you will do Customs in Hawaii and Immigration in Guam.

Philippinesschool
My step-daughter was 6 when she came to the US, not speaking a word of english. Now she is 8 and speaks english fluently. Her vocabulary is above average and she reads english above her grade level. All we did was expose her to english at home and in the classroom. Some of the pre-school kids TV programming helped too, especially at the beginning. I wouldn't worry about it. At that age they pick up language like a sponge. Our only concern now is her apparent loss of the ability to speak Visayan, although she can still understand it.

Philippineswaiting for pacquiao vs mosley fight

since my hubby likes to watch boxing matches I have seen a few over the last few years and my consensus is that the under-card fights are more exciting to watch then the main event..

And it was certainly true for this fight.

I guess it's the farm boy in me, but I thought it was time for the ewe's to have babies!

That's what I thought too. Well you learn something new everyday. I will have to bring this up with the wife later and see what her take is on it.

PhilippinesGuam POE
Every time we have been through Guam there was no problem with a delay in Immigration. Continental/United knows about any immigration delays and can hold the plane but I have never been on a flight where they had to do that. Guam is quick and easy with a K-1. My wife and step-daughter spent less than 20 minutes going through immigration in Guam. You will go through customs in Honolulu, not Guam. The last time we went through was July 2010.

PhilippinesHow Long are you Visiting Earth ?
I've learned to like fish for breakfast and wish my wife would make it more often. Over the years I have come to prefer most of the Filipino foods my wife cooks over the more western foods.

PhilippinesFast track to citizenship
It's not just US govt employees. US govt contractors, employees of an American institution of research recognized by the Attorney General, employee of an American-owned firm or corporation engaged in development of foreign trade and commerce for the US, employee of an international organization of which the US is a member by law or treaty, or a person who performs ministerial or priestly functions for a religious organization or interdenominational organization with a valid presence in the US AND you will be proceeding to join your spouse whose work abroad under orders of the qualifying employer will continue for at least 1 year after the date you will be naturalized.

Clearly not just US Govt employees but civilians as well.

PhilippinesFiling for Citizenship

:wow: That's not even three months!!! She had better start studying for the test!

I hope ours goes that quickly.

We are suprised at how fast the naturalization process is moving, compared to all our other dealings with USCIS. She is studying daily and I am quizing her so I don't think there will be any problems. She is using an app on her Android that seems to be helping with the questions. There were several available and most were free. Good luck on the final leg of this journey.
