You don't have to send the police certificate with packet 3 so why not just send in the Form DS-230 Part I and the checklist.

oh, that sounds great. So he will only need it for the interview then. But it might take up to a month for him to get will that matter Iqha?

We haven't recieved packet 3 either, but I went on the embassy website and downloaded the Packet 3. We mailed it yesterday, if you know your case number then, there shouldn't be any reason why you can't put the packet 3 together now.

Good Luck!!! The only thing holding us up to send in packet 3 is Gerhard's police certificate from Germany, we didn't know we would need this as he left there when he was 23 and we have to have that first. :( But we are still very happy our petition has come so far so fast. :)

2 minutes after posting this I got a text from the uscis, logged on the website and it said we got approved yesterday. Normally I'd be jumping over the roof but the lady and I are having problems unfortunately. In any case this is good news. Good luck to everyone else still waiting.

Hi, it really was just a letter stating where to download the forms he will need. Gerhard also said that it said that when he has all his paperwork ready to call for an appointment date. We thought that they give you a date, I was a little surprised at that and wonder if anyone else has had a similar experience with their embassy notice. Oh but trust me we are very happy with that. :)

I just received a text from CSC literally seconds ago, just as I logged on here to wait for my honey to wake up and get online, boy is she going to be in for a big surprise...

our case was updated it said so I logged onto the website and this is what I found...

Yes and no, He has his PCC for England but he now says he read because he was born in Germany and was there until he was 23 he will have to get a PCC from Germany. I know it's the rules but kind of silly since he has been a citizen of England since then and now 62 years old. Hopefully it wont take long to get as his medical is next month on the 10th.

Evey...it seems like there was no delay in CSC part to move the case to NVC and so forth. Did you get the PCC yet?

Ok, not to sound stupid here and because I am such a novice to all this :), what is PCC? I know that Gerhard has got his appointment for the 10th of May for the medical and the letter I got on Friday said he would get notice from the Embassy in London about Packet 3. Please let me know what PCC means. Probably something so simple too

YAY! I just checked our case status on the USCIS website and I saw we had a touch... I clicked and saw that we have been approved!!! They must have changed our status today, but it said that we were approved on the 19th which was yesterday. We should be getting a hard copy of the NOA2 in the mail soon. I'm so relieved and overjoyed! Now the next phase begins...

Hi everyone
Just received the NOA2 hard copy in the mail. It says that the USCIS has fowarded our original visa petition to the Dept. of State NVC in Portsmouth NH. All further inquiries should be directed to the NVC. It also states processing should be complete within 2-4 weeks after receiving the petition from the USCIS.

Hi, can you tell me at what time the email was received? Was it sent to you the evening of the 14th? Does anyone know if USCIS sends out emails at the end of the day or case by case as they are approved (or RFE) ?

Hi evey. It is actually more useful if you take the dates and descriptions and enter it into your "signature" box. Then it is automatically appended to each of your postings. You do not need to type it for each posting and others here can see your dates to see where you are in the process.

Go to your profile, select edit my profile. Look on the left side for change signature. Type in the dates and description to your signature.

Hello fellow March filers. I hired a lawyer to take care of my K1 package. It was sent out on 3/8 and we received notice of receipt on 3/15. The checked was cashed on 3/12. California told us they would take about 3-4 months to finish their part. It sounds about right I guess. You know if I found this site before sending it to a lawyer I might have tried this myself. As the process is not a short one, I would suggest that you send the I-129F out as soon as you possibly can. I really wish we had started our application earlier, but so it goes... good luck in your application, and don't hesitate to ask any more questions! Thanks for your reply, I guess we have to wait until he is here from the UK because of asking if we met yet. Also we met on EHarmony, does this hold any problems for us? We have saved all EHarmony correspondences and all MSN and Yahoo emails and IMs also Skype calls and reular phone calls, can we use these? I live with and am my fathers caregiver, who is a WWII 100% disabled war vet, we own 2 houses together as far as income is concerned do we include him as a member of the household and would I include my fiance as a memeber of the household which would be 3? this is puzzling to me because when he comes on the K1 visa he will not have a job right away. I am tring to give as much info as possible so you all can better help us if you can. Thanks for all help we can get.

I have to say we are both just overwhelmed by all we didnt know and what we will have to do. My Fiance is coming to the U.S. in Sept. from the U K for visit and engagement. We are 61 and 62 years old. Do we send the K1 forms out now, when he comes to visit or when he leaves to go back home? He will be here for a week on a B2 visa, he only booked his flight for a week and thought he would be able to just stay and we get married and then go back to settle affairs and then return to the U.S. because he had no idea we would have to go through all of this. I am so glad I found this place because all of this can be heart wrenching to say the least.
I have so many questions i don't know where to begin.So again, my first question is when do we send out I-129F

You each complete an I-134. You do not combine income. If your income isn't sufficient, then the co-sponsor's income must be sufficient.

My fiance and I are going to file for K! visa in Sept. My question is this, we are 61 and 62, me being 62 and I am on SS dis. My dad and I share a home together which is in both our names and I am his cargiver, so there will be 3 for income proof, will we have a a problem with this because I am on SS dis.? there is more then enough income in the household. Any help I would be grateful

They're probably internal forms they want you to complete, then their people will complete the actual forms with your information.

how are they different?

form numbers, versions. what exactly?

letter of intent is understandable because it is merely a personal statement

there not forms, they look just like typed out forms on white paper
