I just wanted to give you all hope, as I just received the email that our NOA2 was sent out today! Our NOA1 was dated Oct 12, 2010 and we never had any touches. Now on to scheduling the interview.. Also, I had my medical done today - doctor said you don't even need a case number. Got my Police Certificate too, now all I need is NOA2! ha! So I went through it, clearly noted is "*see attachment"....on the attachment there is a hmmmmmmm complete address!! Morons!!! I was so mad I was seeing RED!! Funny that they reconized the rest of the information on the attached sheet. So, I will add a nice little note when I send my packet back on Monday. Sweetness gets us farther, right?! I was excited to find out that we now have a case number and I already made an account on the USCIS site. Yay!! Here is for a NOA1 at the end of the week!!! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Serious Stress...	I am a generally patient person I think but this is driving me mental... How do you guys deal with your stress? The wait is taking its toll on our relationship. It's hard to spend all this time on the phone and online and keep up a normal schedule. This month the time changes here in Wisconsin and I will be an hour AHEAD of Carlos in El Salvador and that makes it even harder!! I work 6a-2:30p and 10 hours of mandatory overtime per week. The worst part about this whole thing is his dad is the Deputy Chief of the USCIS Forms Center West and he can't even help us expedite anything. Give me your ideas on how to get thru this trying time... There is no doubt that is process sucks. Each day without the one we love is excrutiating torture. We skype a lot, seeing each other face to face helps to ease the pain somewhat. We even bring our laptops to bed and fall asleep together. We play online games! We also each have skype on our cellphones which allows us to call and text without incurring charges. I don't know what area of ES your fiancee lives and as you probably know internet coverage can be sketchy. Hang in there, you are not alone in this process!! I was wondering if anyone has had a problem with their WAC# not being found when entered into the "Case Status" box? I tried and tried to no avail and I also noticied that my fiance's country of birth was listed as "unknown" on the NOA1. So I made a phone call; I called the military number and talked with a pleasant lady who updated the information but she could not find our WAC# and I was routed to some idiot at CSC. All I was inquiring about was if our account was valid and why it wasn't showing up online. He treated me like I was a moron, "well you know it take 5 months to process". Well duh!!! Seriously!?!?! As we were reviewing the G-325A there are places where the addresses did not fit into the alotted space, I also have two jobs which the form allows only dates...I can't add "present". My question is, is it ok to provide a supplemental paper to this form and also to put "see attached" in the corresponding boxes. Thanks in advance for your help! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Divorce date	You shouldn't have a problem. The only thing that they are looking for in this matter is that you are legally free to marry. My fiance and I are in the same boat; he was separated a year before we met then filed for the divorce two months after we met. His divorce was a 10 month process. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	File sent Sept 23rd.. still waiting to hear back..	Kiwi...you should definately call and check the status especially since it has been over 30 days. It could be that your application went through and your NOA1 got lost in the mail or it could be that your application was returned to you for more infomation and it got lost in the mail. Lots of variables here. Call and check, they should be able to give you your case number then you can track your status on the USCIS website. It is asking if you intend or do not intend to provide housing/financial assistance. I looked that the example forms and it just said "NA-K1 Visa process for permanent residence" and there wasn't a box checked. I am the sole sponsor. I will be providing my fiance with housing and I am sure that I will supply him with funds from time to time. I was just wondering what everyone else used in this area. Thanks in advance!! I am anxiously awaiting our NOA1 and it has only been five days since it was received!! It is nice to know that we are not alone in this process and others are going nuts just like I am!! An update from me. I finally got my Fiance to call the USCIS today (calling the USCIS is NOT useless - we were very lucky he did call today). When he called to find out why the NOA1 was taking so long the person told him they were going to send it back to him because the application was missing a form (G-325a form - biographical form), when they checked it was there (they saw a "tab" on the one so thought there was only one copy instead of 4!!), and so said that they would process it today!! I'm so upset - that is two weeks of wasted time! So we now hope to get the NOA1 notification today or tomorrow!! Holding thumbs its today! It seems that they have to probably close some paperwork down that takes them 2 months to finalize. And then they start all over again in the third week of October.
