Philippines	interview passed!! pink and white :)	QUOTE (pauLjeN @ Sep 12 2008, 02:45 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hi everyone, i'd like to share with you my interview experience at US Embassy Manila... -got there 6am, fell in line, showed appointment letter and ID to guard then was told to take a seat -guard checked my DS forms then told me to go inside Gate 2 -security check, XRay of bags, checking of belongings (NO CELLPHONES / GADGETS ALLOWED) -went inside and followed BLUE arrows heading to Immigrant Visa Unit (K-1, K-3, tourist visa applicants go here) -guard told me to sit down (BLUE chairs) and wait for my turn for document check coz queue was still long -fell in line, lady staff checked DS forms to see if there are blank spaces (2 copies 156,1 copy 156K,3 copies 157 but they got the one with the BANK VALIDATION and gave me back the other one coz they only need 2 copies) NOTE: DO NOT LEAVE ANY BLANK SPACES OR ELSE THEY WILL ASK YOU TO GO BACK AND FILL IT OUT THEN FALL IN LINE AGAIN. -lady staff gave number stub (mine was 7012) and told me to sit down and wait for my name to be called -after 40mins, number flashed in Window 26 for Pre-Screening (i was shocked coz i thought Finger Scanning should be done first ) -Filipina staff asked for BC, NBI clearance, Notarized Affidavit of Support, tax forms, pictures and emails ONLY (and i brought a whole bunch of evidences thinking that they might ask for it, well so far they didn't..) -asked me couple of questions like: "who's your petitioner?", "where did you meet him?", "when was the last time you saw him?", "when was his first visit?", "what's his job?" (she even asked me about my trip to Singapore and Malaysia and told her i was there for tourist visa most of the time, good thing i wasn't required a Police Certificate anymore... ) -after looking at the pics and emails, she just got some and gave me back the rest then told me to sit down and wait for my name to be called for Finger Scanning -after 30mins, was called to Window 16 for Finger Scanning (NOTE: hands should be dry and not sweaty) -when done,was told to sit down in the BLUE chairs and wait for my number to flash on the queue board. -after 40mins, number flashed in Window 32 for Consul Interview (kept praying and crossing my fingers..) -my CO is a blue-eyed white guy in his mid 40's or 50's. he greeted me with a smile and told me to raise my right hand and swear. then, asked me questions like: *who's your petitioner?, how did you meet him?, how many visits and when?, what does he do for a living?...then after reading my information, he asked both our ages and why i decided to marry my fiance despite the age gap and barely knowing him for 2 months.. (i told him i didn't care about our age gap, it's his characteristics that i fell in love with...) then he read that i was a singer and asked me if this was my job overseas, i said yes. after reading our packet and typing something in the computer, he told me to wait outside for my number to be called. before heading out, i had the courage to ask him if i'm approved, he just said that they don't see any problem with my case but they just need ONE LAST PIECE of information to finalize everything. so i went out with my heart thumping so fast because i kept thinking that they might ask for more evidence (i was thinking of the worst already) -then when my name was called to Window 37, the guy told me that my case is pending due to DOCUMENT VERIFICATION and that's the only thing i need to wait for so that they can release my visa. (i was already expecting this since i paid DV only last week before my interview, just thought there might be something else...) whew! -he gave me PINK AND WHITE slip and told me to pay visa delivery at Delbros counter. -filled out form, paid Php250 and was told to wait for their text message for the delivery. then went home. done by 10am.. Finally, i'm done with this stage... just the last part which is the waiting for my DV results to be released and my visa to be delivered... so far, i therefore conclude that i PASSED!!!! YAY!!!!! now i believe that things really are QUICKER after the approval... so to those who haven't been approved yet, just hang on and your time will come soon. Be strong and keep the faith, He's there with you all the way... I owe BIG thanks to the BIG GUY ABOVE,He really made my day.... To my VJ family and friends (bluemist, vida, lady23, jury, sweetybabe, jsphnlvsmrk, robertkrizzie17, Brian-Charisma, Sheriff Uling for his guidelines, Sillygirl again for her helpful USE layout, o0pink0o) for their support, goodluck's and prayers... Lastly, to my soon-to-be husband PAUL... my happiness is beyond mere words hun, i can't imagine life without you and i'm soo soo happy we're just a few steps away in being together... we are a team and will forever be... i love you so much!!! so few more weeks to wait wait wait and it all pays off once i get my visa... then pack pack pack.... and cry cry cry... *sigh* everything in the NAME of LOVE wow!!! congrats !!!! im getting nervous on my interview!! Thank you very much, you a have a nice day!!! and my name was called on windows 37, the guy told me they just need to verify something, and give me white and pink slip, he took my metrobank receipt which i pay in metrobank, and so i pay my visa delivery, the whole time im inside the us embassy, all i pray is to have a nice CO, and thank you Lord, heard my prayers, this is what happen. Sept. 09, now waiting the document verification result, hoping i will have my visa soon, cant wait to be with His arms. For those who still in waiting for your final big day, stay relax, and pray that everything will go smoothly, stay positive. Congratulations in advance!!! Congrats girl!!! First at the consul then they told me to be back at 1pm for another interview. My second interview is at the Fraud unit. We were 7 applicants 4 K-3's and 3 K-1 applicants. Four of us the problem was we met our spouses/fiances through our relatives and we never thought that will be a big disadvantage for us. The consul thinks our marriage was just a fixed marriage because it was my Aunt who introduced to us with each other and the fact that we just only met once in person and then got married right away. I told them Bill and I known each other for more than two years and though we were just talking on phone, texting, chatting and sending emails and mailing cards by then we fell in love with each other and that feeling remained when we met in person and we decided to get married ASAP because we love and don't want to lose each other. But hell, they're not convinced yet. So they set me another interview at 1pm @ room 1206. When i went to room 1206 that was i realized that the room i'm going to is a FRAUD UNIT. I feels like "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? bakit ako pinapunta dito ano kala nila sa kasal namin fake?" My fellow applicants kept asking each other why we are here,what's the problem? Afterwards we filled-up papers Q&A about all the details of the relationship like how i we met, did we go out for dates when we were together, time and place of the wedding, how many guests,have you've been courted before, did your spouse gave you an engagements ring, where did he buy,if there's an engave inside blah blah blah...huh!!!! My co-applicants has been sheduled to come back on the 30th,the other is on the 11th, an the other one is tomorrow.Lucky for me and the two we got interviewed right away. But GUYS I"VE NEVER BEEN INTERVIEWED IN MY WHOLE LIFE LIKE THAT. My interviewer was a filipina woman but i can't speak in tagalog..haha. She asked me every lil details about the relationships but my mind go crant when she asked me about my hubby's ex-wives like how was your husband and his 1st wife known each other, where an what is her job "HAY NAKU MALAY KO BA?!!!"i just told her i on't know maam. Another thing she looked at the wedding photo an she said my husband is not interested or serious on our weing day because his hand was in his pocket "OH, GOOD LOR, IF SHE ONLY KNEW MY HOW HAPPY AND EXCITED MY HUSBAND WAS THAT TIME...I've been interviewed for an hour but i think she just stopped asking me because i cried so much when he asked about my grandparents, she asked my why i said my lolo is dying..Then she console me and said "perhaps, this is not your time yet to get a visa because of your lolo, go and get a plane ticket and be with him first." then she gave a paper which stating i have to call the embassy to schedule of interview "AGAIN" and the mails that i mailed to my husband. But before i left the room she gave me a prayer paper.I was so touched im so sorry to hear that!!! just keep on praying and keep in touch with us here!!! take care!!! you will be in my prayers!!!! NOT AT ALL........if they found anything from ur x-ray u will really undergo for Sputum test.... and if its clear ...u will procedd to ur interview.... WE all know they are very strict regarding with Medical Issues.............. i had my medication there and i dont have any history of tb or the rest of my family..... but it is really an advantage to have medication in th Phi rather than to have medications here like my friend who has negative culture result but she repeat the culture test and became Postive so she is under medication for 9 months.....which is really longer!
