When I came here in the US last March, my then-fiance was laid-off on his job and didn't get a penny out of the company even if he had work there for a decade so we basically lived-of with the SSI check. It was tough we thought that we will be ttravelling a lot and expect a lot of good things when I arrive here. he became depressed of not having a work and having me by his side that he think he should bring somewhere else eat good food and meet new friends, was stuck at home. We tried our best to save energy and water so we will pay low monthly bill and go to the grocery once a week. he only had 1,000 dollar in his savings account so he used it to pay for my Adjustment of Status so I can apply for a job right away. Luckily, as soon as I get a job he was also hired and our work are of the same area so transportation is really very convenient since I can't drive yet. Middle East and North Africa	Lebanese Passport holder wants to travel to Europe	Unfortunately, Lebanese passport doesn't give you access to any country without a visa. Would be really easier with a US passport. He's going for work purpose, so all he has to do is go to a German embassy and ask for a visa (I donno if they have a short period work visa). K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	NOA2 received a month earlier than expected...	Man, I hope the November filers don't find out about these rapid NOA2's... Ever read their thread? They're tearing their hair out because some early December filers have gotten approved. If they see that a January filer received their NOA2 they'll lose their minds... Congratulations to all those who've gotten approved so quickly and - wish the November filers the best of luck! hahaha so funny. It's so easy for someone to open his mouth and spread BS when they don't know what the story is. For your information, since mid December 2009, VSC stopped working on late October and ALL of November application, and just moved on December/January applications. We all called our congressmen, and made them file claims, and finally, since February 19 (which means, 2 month on unfairness), VSC is back on working on the applications fairly and in order. U're a January filer. How about, CSC working fairly till January 7 applications. Then they stop, and just completely skip the rest of January, and start working on February applications. I would like to see you "keep calm", and "not tearing ur hair". To the OP, gratz on ur early approval. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Track case from NVC to Embassy	Here's some info you may like then. The NVC uses DHL to ship their packages. Once you confirm the date that the I-130 was sent, you can go on the DHL website to approximately track your case. There are forums here talking about it but I'll sum it up below. 1. Go to: http://track.dhl-usa...?nav=TrackByRef 2. In Reference, enter the info as follows: EXP DD MMM YYYYA EXP is constant DD is the date before the day the NVC said they shipped the case. MMM is the three letters representing the month the NVC shipped the case YYYY is the year the NVC shipped the case A is constant For example, if the NVC says they shipped the case on February 12 2009, this would be entered as "EXP 11 FEB 2009A" 3. Date range for shipment - From: Enter the date of the day NVC said they sent the case 4. Date range for shipment - To: Enter todays date 5. Keep the rest of the fields blank 7. Once you enter the info, press "Track" 8. After a while you will see a list of all of the packages that left the NVC today. You need to search for the specific consulate. 9. When you find the shipment the corresponds to your consulate, you will see the tracking number that you can record. 10. You can then track the shipment from the NVC to your specific Consulate you say ur case left NVC on 03-06 so the track number entered must be : "EXP 05 MAR 2010A" date range must be 03-06-2010 and today I tried it for you, and there was 1 shipement delivered to MOSCOW, RUSSIAN FEDERATION on 3/10/2010 4:57 pm hoping it's yours	Drue & Naddy	Female	France	2010-03-16 07:58:00

I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend and hopefully we will hear some more news starting Tuesday Peace, Zee and Inusah Long distance relationships are tough anyway; and adding to that stress by going through an agonizing wait makes the tension hard even when two people are totally in love and totally committed. That's the hard part. But the good part is that we're up next to bat!!! The good part is that our fiances', where ever they are in the world, are hanging on too and are in this together with us. And, sometimes, I've found that the best thing I can do is walk away from the computer, stop checking the USCIS website for awhile, and interact with people around me; because it's SO easy to drive myself mad staying on the computer too long. Yeah, I just spoke with someone at USCIS too---I had a legit concern as my fiance' has moved and needs a change of address on our petition.....while talking to her about that I *asked* if she could tell me if our case has been assigned......she actually said it wouldn't be assigned for about 90 more days since they are just now doing Feb. applicants.....so that tells you that she was reading off the processing time screen, not actually doing any looking up on the case. I understand they can't drop everything and tell us when our cases have been assigned etc, but come on!! Other May people are getting their NOA2's so I doubt her info. was very correct. Am another May filer and just wanted to say hi to everyone and that we have got to be SO close to getting our NOA2's!!! Every day of suspense seems incredibly long, but our day is coming---I think it was C.S. Lewis who said "The pain now is part of the happiness then". God bless all of you as we wait it out together and look forward to being with our loved ones again soon! On another thought, have any of you made any **wedding** plans yet? Have any of you set tentative dates, or are you waiting til later to do all that? Has anyone else struggled with trying to arrange the minister, caterer, and make reservations etc when you really can't give a sure date? Maybe all that is premature, but a lot of wedding venues/people/places require several months in advance to reserve them---so my fiance and I have decided that small & simple is the way to go as far as the wedding hoopla goes. As for the VJ processing times, the 118 days for the CSC are from the date you filed. We filed 120 days ago, if you check the link to my timeline you'll see it says 120 days. Congratulations!!! Is this 118 days from the date that you filed, or is this 118 days from the approval date listed on the NOA 1? Also, looking at processing times for 129-F listed by the USCIS, it looks like they are still processing claims from mid-January!? He never was registered anywhere there as he did not have a car or official job or anything. However, on the forms we did list Spain as his residence at the time (which may have been a mistake) because he was there at the time of filing. He went to the Spanish embassy there to get police certificates, and they would not give him one b/c they said they have no official record of him being there. Is this going to pose a problem later? He IS able to get Romanian police certificates that cover this time period, but will it look suspicious if he has no Spain certificates, and papers that show he lived in Spain for 2 years? BTW, he went to the Spanish embassy in Romania also, without success. Any ideas or advice is appreciated. The answer to the consulate is that you do not have one because one is not available based on your facts and circumstances. The below is a snippet from the DOS website. Thanks for the info. He had a tourist visa at one time but overstayed it; then after Romania joined the European Union on Jan.1, 2007, they didn't need visas anymore anyway.
