I saw other cases too that has been approved later than us or the same date like ours who had their new case number first but then we just wait for four weeks before getting nervous and excited. Sometimes you have to give them enough time to work on your case so that they won't be disturb otherwise the more u push them to dig into what u want the more they will be stubborn on finishing on your case. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April and May Filers - NOA2 to NVC	Just wanted to let other people in the same NOA 2-NVC boat know that I received a letter from my senator (I contacted him on Monday) and he said that our approval papers were mailed to NVC on Monday. So you guys who were approved around the time we were (Sept 20th) are probably in that same batch. I was encouraged and wanted to pass it on! Not much longer guys!! p.s. not sure if the senator's inquiry actually expedited it or not--have a feeling that it did not, because I didn't contact him til later on Monday and our papers were mailed out on Monday. But, it was GREAT to have him take enough interest to inquire. Also, his letter instructed me to notify him if the NVC held our papers beyond a reasonable time, so he will definitely have my vote the next election!! And she said it could take another 2-3 weeks at the NVC. Christmas with my fiance might take a miracle... Sorry to rant like this, but I think I'm at my wits end If anyone has any luck with a senator or congressperson, let us know!
