Hi everyone.

I was so bored, and didn't know what to do while waiting for that ******* NOA2. To tell u the truth, was kinda starting to go crazy :wacko:

Since T and J un-coded the receipt number, i've done some manual searching too (which stopped my trip to crazyland), only for 11-09-2009 NOA1 date tho, which is mine :D , cos I wanted a REAL view over what's really going on at VSC

I saw that Jl_n_JL is doing the same searching too, so maybe we should combine our works, and maybe get some more help from other bored members, like each one can take care of a day or something.

I've been through all 10-30-2009 (1817 applications processed that day ><), and half of 11-09-2009. Ill finish the 11-09 day tonight.

Jl_n_JL , if u've put all ur info in a spreadsheet, can u send them to me, so I could add them to the file? I think I could give u access on that spreadsheet if u're interested, so u could update it too.

I thought of sharing that with u, cos I know how annoying it is to not know what's really goin on in VSC, if they were dead, or just working on other cases then ours.

So if others wanna help, pls say which day u wanna work on. After i finish 11-09, I'll attack 11-08, and so on ...

My fiance sent only one G325-A for each and we also did not send the instructions because we thought it was realy silly..BUT..Ive read that some people here were questioning that and did send..
One thing that cought my attention is the low number of filers in February to VSC..do u guys think this will make it easier for us?


VJ members represent less then 5% of the actual K1 filers.

The K1 used to be approved in kinda 2-3 months before mid-December 2009, now it's more like 3-4 even 5 months.

At least this thread is not 5 pages back now. We are "moving on up" in the world. Sent "our" application in yesterday. Now time to grab a bag of chips, sit on the couch, and wait. I have to laugh at my Viktoriya. She can't believe how long the process takes. She asks if there is anyone that I can "talk to" (grease their palm) and make it go faster. This is not Ukraine. Our goverment beauracracy is just as messed up as hers. The only difference, no bribes. This is going to be a boring thread if there are only 5 of us. Wait, less applications, means faster approvals. I can live with that.


Hi, i'm a November filer. passed the 3.5 month waiting line ^^, no NOA2 sighted for the moment.

VJ members represent less then 5% of the number of K1 filed to VSC.

I wont suggest that u sit in your corner, and drink ur misery away. Come share your frustration with your "new family". They will be here to cheer you up.

The waiting is long and hurtful (for the truthful filers), but you are not alone, others feel the same way, and will post here asking for compassion and for a shoulder to cry on.

I will end my intrusion in your February thread by wishing you all a good luck in your journey, hoping that you wouldn't have to wait for your NOA2 more then I will, and hoping that VSC won't just decide to skip your month with no reason and work on the next month (just like they did with us).

You can call NVC at 603-334-0700. In fact, your approval notice will tell you to call if more than 4 weeks pass between your NOA 2 and NVC receiving it. The sad part is people (like me) and others have waited almost 5 weeks or longer in some cases, and NVC still doesn't have it. Calling them didn't yield a whole lot of information; however, that is how you can find out if it's there yet or not. Otherwise you can just wait for a letter to arrive in your snail mail from NVC, at which point the papers will have been forwarded to the embassy. good.gif Hopefully you will not have such a long wait! I contacted my senator's office yesterday by faxing a letter; and I was surprised that today they called me asking for more details so that they could investigate the ridiculous delay in mailing out approvals to NVC. I was happy that they are going to make an effort on our behalf to get CSC to mail our documents to NVC. wacko.gif Maybe this week they will send out our papers! yes.gif

However, I called the 1-800 number I've seen posted various places on VJ b/c I didn't know of a number directly to California. When I asked the lady if she was at the CSC or just a general call center, she said she couldn't disclose her location and that there was no number to contact CSC directly. In other words---"Yes, we have up to 6 months to process your case. Yes, we have up to 3 months to mail it out after that. Yes, your papers can sit here in Cali for 9 months before you should be alarmed" devil.gif ohmy.gif sad.gif

I expect that the NVC will get our papers soon, along with everyone else's who are waiting.....it's just such a helpless feeling and after going through waiting forever to get the coveted NOA 2, it's hard to hear the heartless answers.

Yeah, I also noticed the consistency mostly coming from the total number of days since filing, not since NOA 1.

The night before we got ours I was convinced that it was just never going to happen; but it did--IT DID. As ZEE has pointed out, no one will be left behind. How did you guys track when your petition arrived and left the NVC? Just by calling the automated number, or what? Am not real sure now how to act since NOA 2 came, and I don't have to check CRIS website every waking moment!
(p.s. have visited in Ghana and Togo several times--beautiful people & places!!)

Mirla & Byron, it can't be too much longer now. Seems like almost all recent approvals were right around 140 days (ours was 139) so you guys have to be coming up real soon. Then it's ON YOUR WAY from there! You will be celebrating really soon. kicking.gif

Am extremely depressed because no answer yet. And December fillers are getting their approval. I don't know what to think. I know that VSC averages 5 months, but I figured we would hear something since people that filled after us are getting news.
Let's just say that the morale of the troops is very low. I don't know if we should call them, or if that would actually make any difference.
Congratualtions on everyone that is getting an answer now. I just thought we were going to have a summer wedding, but turns out I should forget about it.

Hang in there, your approval will come soon. If you have a special case, it may take some time, but you will get it at the end.

I was frustrated too, but when i decided to take a break from VJ, I got the approval, so my break lasted 6 hours lol

I know it's hard :blush:

My fiancé called them yesterday and they said they sent it off on March 5.



well, they send it by DHL, so there is a tracking number.
Try checking on the DHL site if the embassy got it, then call DHL and give them the tracking number, and make sure they got it.
Then call the embassy back, and tell them that DHL confirmed the delivery, so maybe they should search sone more.

To track it on DHL, go back some pages, and you will find out how to do it

:rofl: Oh my goodness, I nearly wet myself laughing at babies being called VSC, and NOA. If it's twins, names will be NOA1 and NOA2, obviously!

We're all motoring along now since being released from that VSC jailhouse. I sent my packet 3 back to London yesterday. I know London has a long wait for interview but I'm just happy to have a break from the paperwork.

I often see Montreal getting an application and then sending the packet 3 like 2 weeks after.. I got lucky they sent it the day right after! I feel so relieved and stressed at the same time!

what Drue is sending me is needed for the interview day. So if your fiance has everything ready and she sent them by mail for you, send back your P3, you will too gain some time

We should start to organize our meeting guys. By June, we will all be with our loved ones.

Now - I am not talking rubbish for a change! This is important. The packet 3, specifically the form DS 230. There is mass confusion. Both DOS and UK embassy site are not clear whether this applies to K1 applicants or not, one piece of information says it doesn't, but it really is not crystal clear. If you haven't read this thread, which includes the link to the DOS site, I have pasted it below. Mrs Dogs is confused.

I donno bout you, but in my french P3, i received the part one of the DS-230 + the other forms too. And they are all a print of the save-enabled forms i posted last week. So I just printed out the DS-230 i already filled, and sent it today with the DS-2001.

I didn't get the mail Drue sent me yet tho :(

PS : I looked at your link Mrs D. the DS-230 form is the same as the save-enabled one. Just fill this one, and don't worry :)

What day did he send it? I sent Jum my I-134 and other stuff on Friday using USPS and she received it already.
Jum and I do not plan on waiting to receive the P3 prior to sending the Embassy the paperwork. She will send everything as soon as we know the embassy has the paperwork. The Embassy should have received the paperwork on Monday. We are trying to hurry because the Embassy will be closed for a week in April and we want her to get her interview in April. Otherwise, she will have to quit her job prior to the interview if she is to be here by July. Thai law requires her to work the next month after quitting or she will have to pay money to the company.

PS- I looked at your profile today to see your timeline, and there was this big red box on your profile. How did you get a -1 Reputation?

Do u think they may ask questions if all the documents they requested are dated b4 the P3?

And I won't be able to send anything till I receive Drue's I-134. He sent me the stuff last week, so I might get them tomorrow or by friday. Just to make sure I have everything. Just in case his mail got lost :bonk:
