IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Do I send Part 2 of DS 230 with Part 1, just unsigned, or take it to the interview?	On my checklist of the interview packet it said part 1 but then again I am filing K1. I would just take both in case. Better to be more prepared then unprepared! IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Help before filing I-130	Never said it was mandatory just said you do have to be unless you have a real good excuse like hardship or your sick and you will need to prove it. Just look at old Dominican cases where they didn't go and they were denied. I wouldn't chance it. They want to see it's a bonafide relationship and they ask both the questions. As a matter of fact when I was at my interview a Dominican citizen was denied cause her hubby lived in New York and he didn't show up because they thought he didn't have to. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Help before filing I-130	So i wont actually be present at the interview over there? Or how does that work?     How do i know if i meet those requirements, what ARE those requirements? And what do i do if i have no previous tax history?   Sorry, I am just really nervous and trying to make sure i know things well before doing anything. In Dominican Republic YOU DO have to be present at the interview. Each country is different but DR is one that both parties have to be present! Good Luck! I pray that God gives you peace and understanding in this situation and reveals HIS plan for you soon. I have a question though what kind of proof did you take with you other than the 2 times you visited him in DR? Did you have emails calls pictures money tranfers gifts etc? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Question 18, I-129f	Hey, I have a similar story to yours and I don't think it will be a problem. Although I am still waiting on my NOA2 which I pray comes soon since I am an October 2012 filier. I would even love an RFE right about now so atleast I feel like they are touching my file. Anyways back to your question. I seperated from my husband in October 2011 and we signed and notarized the divorce papers that date however, because I was pregnant and single I gave them to my lawyer which didn't file them in the courts until April 2012! Needless to say the divorce final date on the docs were July 2 2012 and I filed for my Fiance in October 2012 so I too am scared as to what might happen. I really think they will base their decision in the interview and all the evidence provided. I am taking a copy of my whole divorce decree and all my evidence from this relationship. I spoke to a CO in person and they told me not to worry as long as this relationship (I129f applicant) is a bonafide relationship previous dates and marriages do not matter. I hope he is right! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	Suggestion of proof of visit	My question is where does it say pictures have to be dated and coded? Any real relationship one is in and takes pictures do not think of doing that unless they are scrapbooking or something. I really don't think they care about dates and such unless you take a picture in the snow and visited her on an island in the summer (thats obvious). From experience with my first husband that I petitioned for they never asked for that so I don't see why you would need a statement like that. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	October filier VSC says call in June for SERVICE REQUEST!!!!!!!!	I have been patient because I feel like this can be taking a lot longer. BUT. I woke up today with a sick feeling in my gut that I am ready for this process to be over and I need to be with my fiance ASAP. I called VSC in the begining of this month and was told that I am still with in the time frame and if i have not heard anything by Aprill 22 to call fro a service request. Well I decided to wait a bit longer and I called this morning (April 29). I spoke to a tier 2 officer who looked at my case and of course told me it is still pending. Since I cannot look up my case status online because they have not put in my info to be able to view status updates, I told her about my recent call and that I need to submit a service request. She put me on hold and then told me that VSC is currently working on filers of the begining of October the dates of the 2-10. WHAT!?! so then why on Igor's list here on Visa Journey are applicants from the end getting approved? She told me to call at the end of May if I have not heard anything. I'm so sad so distraught. I would not care as much if I could take a trip to see my finace for a few days but everything is on hold. I don't want to take a trip to have to take another one for interview. I don't have that much vacation time left at work! To be honest if this doesn't work I am considering moving to Dominican Republic to the house I have there and homeschooling my son until my Fiance can come into this country. Its been 6 months since our NOA1 and it still states case not found. I keep it open and keep checking because I heard that even if its not found once they touch your file they update the website so it is. I hope thats true. DIdn't leave one out because you can get an RFE if not since there is no answer they can assume there is an answer and wasn't placed. So I guess it worked for me. I was wondering becuase I have yet to recieve an RFE but no where does it says we need a signed original statement of intent to marry only Visajourney memmbers have come up with this proof from what I can see. Reading the instruction page for the I129f appliaction does not state it either. I hope I get a nice officer who over looks this and looks at the thousand emails and phone calls pics and bank transactions we send back and forth not to mention the trip info from when I went. So I'm nervous because I submitted the I129-f on October 24, 2013 I sent all proof and documents including satements of Intent to Marry. My fiance' sent me an original statement signed however I sent my intent to marry statement and I know I typed in my signature but I don't remember signing it. Does anyone know if I should expect an RFE? According to the processing time at VSC my application should be processed in the next few days but I am so worried about this statement. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	K1 visa time trame to enter US	The Visa in the passport will tell you when it expires you have until then usually 6 months after medical.
