When you get hear if you wish to have you married name listed on your documents just change it then. I feel if you open that can of worms now it just might delay things. IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	case status/receipt number	I had that issues for the whole 7 months I waited! There is nothing they can do it just means whoever has your cases didn't update it in the website. If you signed up to receive it by text or email you will once its approved. If not just keep checking the site one day it will say approved. Thats what happen to me and on May 22 if finally said approved after 7 long months. Don't worry hang in there they told me the same thing when I called on March 26! Wait 30 days to call back to service my application. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Getting Ancy	So I?m very happy for those who have received Noa2's and RFE's, but I can't help and wonder where is mine!  A lot of my VJ friends are moving on and I have yet to receive even a hint. Not to mention November fliers are moving along and I am Oct 22!     I called USCIS and the tier 2 rep that was chewing gum like a cow and sounded like she had the mouth piece of her head set lodged in her throat told me 21 more days and I should hear something because they are currently working on Oct 1 filer. I wonder if they realize how dumb the all sound reading from the same script. I'm sure they don't care.     Anyways, My case can not be found on the USCIS website, the same rep told me that even if they touched my application they will not update it on the website. Lies.      So I'm done my Fiancé laughed and told me to relax we have God and that?s all that matters. He is so good every time I'm on freak out mode he finds a way to make me feel invincible towards any situation. I am happy that I can take my mind of this process and go visit him, even if its for 5 days. I hope to hear something soon. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	this is weird!!	I personally think this is a good thing I mean I know its no answer but it says it was transferred to your local office. I would go on the USCIS website and make an appointment through INFOPASS to go personally and see what is going on with your file now that its there! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Guess What?!?	My vacation went GREAT! I saw my Honey for 5 days and it was amazing. It was much needed and it definitely took my mind of the process for a bit. Yesterday was hard though! Leaving him each time gets harder especially when you are left in the air with no decision! We cried and departed and my heart felt heavy all through yesterday. I traveled from 8am until 3am to get home and when I checked the mail to see if my NOA2 was there of course it wasn't! I prayed for a long time last night for hope strength and maybe an answer!   This morning my usual routine is to get to work sign in to my PC and open up all my work screens. For the past 8 months USCIS.gov was one of them. Everyday I entered my receipt number and it told me my case could not be found! Today I looked and all of sudden it was there!! On May 22 we mailed you and NOA2 that your app was APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG. My whole department clapped and some even cried! Thank you Jesus! I love you! I woke him up and we both cried because GOD is good and answered our prayer!!!     Thank you VJ fam for all the love! Now on to the CITA!!!!! We did not use a lawyer but an office that prepared immigration apps and charged $500. Needles to say we are divorced and I am currently filing for my Fiance. Since i was afraid we would have issues filing (since i petitioned for my ex who is now about to be a US citizen) I went to a lawyer and she did not want the case because she was afraid of my outcome. Since i was not going to let her scare me i put all my faith in God because He is the only one Who knows my heart. i filed my self And He led me to VJ I followed the instructions I read on members profiles and i was approved with no RFE. We have our interview soon and in our hearts we know,we will be together and happy. I know you will be fine if you just ask and research and soon you will be,with your Soulmate. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	I-129 F accepted??	Regarding post above you will not get a SDO case number until NVC receives your case after you received your NOA2. The receipt number about is correct for now and EAC means your app is in the VermontServiceCenter. Your receipt number is what you will use to check your status until your I129 F is approved. You can check USCIS.gov to see the status of your app until it's approved then transferred to NVC which is where you will get your case number that begins with SDO.   For now.... you have a few months of waiting so I would drink a cup of patience or 2! This site could help but it can definitely bring you confusion and doubt if you let it. Try to just stay calm and positive. RFE's usually consist of something missing not missing labels. Just be happy they did get approved if they did because that means you are coming up soon. Girl, many people pass you by with and Noa2 and then you catch up and your interview is first or after but its always in the same time frame. Remember different officers have their own load of cases so they don't work at the same time. The Dominican couple today had the luck of all luck approved in 5 days and interview today? Everyones says a right after the interview while they create the visa and issue it to Domex. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	I-129F-Approved July 25th and USCIS has not send my case to NVC...What's wrong with these people!	I scanned my Noa 2 and sent it to them as well because USCIS was taking forever to send my file to NVC. Needless to say my file finally got there in 15 business days after my approval and I received a response by email from NVC regarding my scanned NOA  2 after my interview letting me know my case was in the Santo Domingo Embassy and my Misa was being issued lol. This confused me as well when I waited almost 3 weeks to get my interview date. If you call NVC you can ask and if it was received electronically then keep calling till they tell you they physically received the packet. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NO FRIGGING APPOINTMENT YET :(	DR receives your case electronically first and it will say Ready but they won't schedule interview until its received by DHL where your status date will update for the second time and they will schedule you when its your turn and they have an opening.. Be Patient. this confused me too during my process. I always emailed them and received clear info than calling DOS. Even though they share the same system the liaison at the embassy who replies knows a little more about the DR process than DOS because they are in DR vs DOS who is answering for all countries.
