Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionCan I take the biometrics on the east coast?
Short Answer is No, appointments are made for filers at certain offices at given times, yes walk ins happen, at the office that is nominated to do the scheduled Bio.
Nothing stopping you trying though, or cancel and re book for when you are back home.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionLetter of employment questions
I recommend printing off a copy of I-751 and the Instructions and read it a couple of times, then carry out what they ask for, Removal of Conditions is about Both of you proving that you have a stable and commited marriage, that you both live at the same address and co-mingle finances. USCIS are not interested in employment.

Just follow the instructions and you will be fine.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionForm I-751 Denied for my Wife! WTF!?
Harpa,

This tells you what was sent,

"Your supporting evidence does not sufficiently establish that you and your spouse entered the marriage in good faith and the continue to share a life together.:
- "You submitted a copy of your DOD ID card, copy of your 1099 INT showing a joint savings account, copy of a voided check showing joint checking account, and evidence of joint car insurance."
- "Although these items begin to establish the indication of a relationship, they are not strong enough, as a whole, to establish that you and your spouse entered the marriage in good faith and continue to share a life together."

3rd page gave them a list of what would help.

It only works with the number from the Biometrics letter, if i remember correctly that is stated in the NOA-1 letter.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionFINGERPRINTING?? WHERE???
The part about fingerprints is not for you, that is for personnel applying overseas(servicemen ect) read the instructions a few times and it will make sense.
Once you send your package, you will recieve NOA-1, this will tell you that you have a 12 month extension, next you will recieve Biometrics letter telling you where and when you have your Pics/Fingerprints done(local office) also the Number on the bio letter is the one you need to get case status updates on the USCIS website.
Again just read through the instructions a few times, it will actually make sense then.

Ok, now i am following you, i thought you had also the 10 year card, maybe you can get the stamp in your passport? and also call and ask for a copy of the NOA.

When you get it, make a copy for yourself and the school.

You Have a Green Card, you are a Legal Resident and Married to a US Citizen, i would see it as more beneficial than harmful to any ROC, you have managed this disaster together as Man and Wife.

I sent the entire tax records just to be safe, the Two year thing i mentioned is not just for Tax, you have to show them evidence of a good marriage for the two years, bank statements ect, select a few spanning the two years, i sent in about eight from like Jan/March/July/Oct(2009)Feb/June/Sept/Dec(2010)
Pics on a CD, I did this for AOS and have done it for ROC this time also took a CD for AOS interview.

You get another Biometrics appt if your fingerprints are not good enough. no need for anyone to call the FBI and wasting time that could be better used checking the prints they have been sent.

Take time to read the forum and the valuable information contained within. remember to cover the 2 years of marriage showing financial co mingling and that you both share the same address, for example Bank statements send a few spanning the 2 years, Utility bills, copy both driving licenses together showing address.
i recommend reading the form and instructions a couple of times prior to filling it in.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionRFE Received - Need Proof of Residence
Send it all again including what NinjaLadyBug suggested, sounds to me as if they have lost some or all of your package, not uncommon, maybe also include some pictures and a couple of Affidavits, it increases your evidence a little.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionSending our I-751 packet tomorrow. Would this evidence be enough?
I think you have plenty to go with, and as you stated, you can work on other things incase of recieving RFE, i was same as you guys, Mortgage was taken out before we met, all utility bills already in place and it seemed silly at the time to change.

I would put all that you wrote in the reply to myself and Inky in a Covering letter, let them know that you have thought about all the little things.

Good Luck with the Application

Looks quite good so far,

Get a letter/Lease from your landlord stating that you both live at the address and have done so since --/--/----

Copies of Driving licences as these also show your address, the evelopes ect you are sending are a good idea.

Previous Tax filings are available if you filed together in the previous years.

Hope this helps
