it will take about 2 weeks than you will receive an email which will show that your case is completed than after a week you will get Interview Letter with date in the email .

We just got a package from NVC with case number with form choice of address and agent . Just Paid IV FEE either .



1-Question is why we did not receive any checklist by NVC ?



2-Can i scan and send the form of address and agent to beneficiary so HE/SHE can sign and courier to the NVC direct with Visa Application & Police report ?

Are interview dates based on a cerain waiting period or the embassy availability. Im sure some embassies are more busy than others and hence the difference on the waiting. I dunno about ksa but was told 2-4 weeks to get an appt. any1 knows the theory??

I've heard when a officer issues a RFE they hold the file on their desk till the evidence comes in, and then resume working on the petition within a few days. Give it atleast a week after they receive your evidence they requested.

Hi guys my husband was put on AP after his interview since then ive been trying to think what to do but i really cant do anything but wait!

I just wanted to give some history about my husband and wanted to see if anyone could tell me from their own or others experience if my husbands AP will take long.............

-My husband is a muslim
-He is 23 years old
-He was born in Dubai BUT has a pakistani pasport
-The ONLY time he traveled out of Dubai was in 2006 to attend my brothers wedding(thats where we met;-)

If he hasnt travelled alot will the AP still take long? im so frustrated.......

NVC says "call back the middle of the month, on or after May 15th for the interview date." Our case was completed April 8th and we didn't get a May interview scheduled, but we did get an e-mail On April 24th with our interview date. So really it all depends on the embassy...how many slots they have available for interviews for your type of visa. I wouldn't rely on their "we only schedule interviews the second week of the month" ####### because a lot of people with case complete around the same date as me got June interviews scheduled already! Does he already have the US passport? If he does, then no need defintely. If your son does not have the US passport yet and will accompany you to USA, then I think it would be nice if you go with your son. Since the guy at the embassy already told you to bring him along, then sure - it can only be helpful in the interviewer's decision to grant you the VISA.
