My checklist letter says:   "We have finished reviewing your case. We will tell you when we set an interview date for your case. Please do not contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in LONDON, GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND about your interview until we give you the date." I just don't like that the items I have to bring are the two exact items I just submitted in my checklist on May 12th. I don't know if they lost them or they just didn't review them at all.   So my case was closed today and I got the email at 4:05pm EST.     your case is complete my dear! Your case is COMPLETE!!!!!!!!" IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	NVC Filers - June 2014	Ok so many of you have helped me with this tax 1040 filing single or married. I have called my tax lady and i tried speaking nice with her and then she got an attitude. Ughh i lost it on her and I shouldnt have. Well she does my mothers taxes and she called my mom. She told my mom there is no way to file me married unless i have a federal tax number for my husband. Did anyone else have a federal tax number for their spouse? She said to get one my husband should go to the consulate with our marriage certificate and ask for one. Honeslty i dont believe or trust what she is saying. Help please can anyone confirm or deny any of this info. She also said since my parents claimed me for the year that if i filed an admendment they would also need to file an admentment. I just want to cry, why didnt she tell us any of this when we filed!! She knew our situation       yesss your spouse can have  it only if used to travel to USA. Does anyone know if we r going to get a checklist for not sending photocopies of documents..it"ll really be heart breaking if they send a checklist for photocopies..im sure they can make the copies themselves ????   I dont think u ll be checklisted for this   Think I'm gonna start issuing my own checklists for people not following directions on my form request sheet   Just added/updated 10 people and very few actually followed the instructions perfectly    lmaoooo   Someone has probably asked this before, sorry if I am being repetitive. There is the IV package that has to be sent out once the IV fee is paid but I don't think there is one specific form like there was for the AOS package (I-864).   You are right, the DS260 is the immigrant visa form.but u dont need to send it to NVC. just print the confirmation page and bring it to the interview. The CO didnt even ask for any of the supporting documents I went with and I was approved. Questions: *How long have your wife been in the USA *How did she migrate *How long have you known her *How many times has she visited since she has been in the US #I also responded to d question that ive vited twice as well. I'm currently going through the k1 process with my fiancé and am worried once things get to haiti that they will be slow. Anyone have a difficult time getting a police certificate in haiti? Also do you know how long those are valid for? Thanks.   You can obtain The police certificate in 2 weeks. go to DGI delmas 19 with a copy of your passport to buy the recepisse( it cost 28 Gdes) and with this, 2 photos, birth certificate, a photocopy of the passport you Go to DCPJ at Clercine. Sometimes, the person who is in charge to sign the PC is not available. so the sooner you request it the better it is.   I think it is valid for us immigtation for 1 year.
