5. Affidavit of support ( original )
6. 2012 income tax return ( photocopy )
7. W2 form ( photocopy )
8. Divorce decree ( photocopy but I wanted to bring original just in case)
9. His record of payment from PayPal since he is a programmer and most client are thru online )
10. The copy of petition
11. Pictures together
12. Chat logs
13. Our hotels accommodation
14. Contract of lease from his 2 months stay here
15. Tickets from our travel
16. CENOMAR ( original and copy )
17. Birth certificate mine ( original and copy )
18. NBI clearance ( original and copy )

20. The CD of my X-ray from St. Luke
21. 2 copies of 2x2 photos for visa.
21. His birth certificate ( copy )

Am I missing something?

Another thing is we haven't receive a letter of confirmation yet from us embassy manila stating that Our papers were there already. But, when we made an open case about the typo of my passport, they replied to us immediately and our appointment date was not moved. Does that mean they had our papers already and they checked our files before replying to us?
It will be 2 weeks and 5 days on the date of my interview since they gave us notice on CEAC that our petitioned is READY already for an interview..

Help us please :)

Thanks in advance and God Bless

Uhm, that i'm kind of confused..I don't quite understand what it means. Why it has only 3 months validity if applicant has medical problem? Though i had myself checked  already and knew that i'm okay, but i'm still curious about this new info that you guys told me..why the time frame will be reduce to 3 months instead of 6 months? Lol, I'm really quite slow in understanding so forgive me for my inquiry..:)

PhilippinesCan we move to scheduling our interview with only MNL# in hand?

Hello everyone!

I just wanna ask..

We already have our MNL case # and an update status in CEAC that our papers was transit already to USEM. Though we haven't receive yet the hard copy letter from NVC stating the same. Can we move forward to paying the visa and scheduling the interview? Or do we need to wait for the hard copy from NVC as well as the CASE READY status in CEAC before moving forward in our process?

Please enlighten me...smile.png

Uhmm, me and my baby already talked about the things that needs to be done but i just want to know if there's another option to make things move faster..lol.

Just covering every bases and at the same time, wanted to help my future husband with some info...

Lol! I bet my Mahal will tease me again of being so excited even though I am not..uhm, just a little excited though..biggrin.png

God bless us all

Love lots!

PhilippinesClerical Error of Husband's Middle name in Marriage Contract

Hello everyone!

I just wanna ask, I have a friend who work in Singapore and got married in Philippines recently and back in Singapore right away to continue working.

My question is:

1. When she check the marriage contract, Her american husband's middle name was placed next to his name and probably leaves the middle name blank. Will she be in trouble during their filing of CR1 because of the marriage certificate's error?

2. Can they file a petition using Philippines as her country even though she is in Singapore now? What are her best options?

Your help will be greatly appreciated guys..:)

Hmm, yes I am sure that is totally correct, interpretation here is a whole different story. Let me guess you are legally trained and are now bringing your sweetie over, Abogado and Mizzy? Have you tried to expedite or were you out of the influence of the never ending disasters that hit the RP.

Too late to translate...

We are at NVC stage still waiting for a case number. No expedite it would be nice though, but the ones that are affected by the calamity deserve it. I'll be seeing her in a couple of weeks though, for our 1st wedding anniversary.

Yup too late to translate but we are on a public forum just trying to help others. Remember these when doing a prenup:

- Getting married outside the US.

- Using different lawyers (one for prenup then another one for divorce).

- Marrying someone that have English as second language, - she might understand you, she might understand what shes reading but she does not know anything about US law.

- Lawyer from another country - just like a driver's license, they are only good on countries that allows them.

- Prenup is good for both divorce and death. Even if you have a will, you can not use it to overide a prenup.

Take care of your love ones, you can't take your money in heaven.

PhilippinesReasons for wanting your spouse in USA

Prenup does not need to be translated and is in the actual agreement since she understands English and agreed, her laywer made sure she understood everything in English and native language.

Like you said CYA, make sure you comletely cover the hole. Her lawyer will not be her lawyer when she moves to the US. Her lawyer (that will not be around if divorce happens) and you assume the she understands English.

This has been used in the past:
The agreement was coerced, signed under duress or signed without mental capacity.

She claimed that language barriers prevented her from understanding the full weight and importance of the agreement.

Again CYA. A properly translated prenup can help.

PhilippinesReasons for wanting your spouse in USA

It is all stated in the Pre-nup. The affadavit of support is for the first three years or until she departs the USA, that is non negotiable.

I would advise all who get married to have a pre-nup drawn up by an attorney and that when your spouse enters the country to have an appraisal of any properties you hold. Any appreciation of property in most states I assume is split 50-50. CYA

Affidavit of support - Usually lasts until the family member or other individual either becomes a U.S. citizen, or can be credited with 40 quarters of work (usually 10 years).

Both appraisal and prenup needs to be done before marriage.

PhilippinesReasons for wanting your spouse in USA

Something else to consider is under Philippine law for those that marry in the Philippines (as I understand it) that all properties and assets are from that day forward a 50-50 deal, in case of separation or anullment. Say you bring your spouse to the USA after marrying then decide to move back to the Philippines, see a potential issue here? Most of us guys I think already are protected in the states as in pensions, SS or other pre-earned assets. Any Capital gains or appreciation is fair game and should be split 50-50 with your spouse.

Yes married in the Philippines is 50-50 split. What about lawyer does she have her own? Is the prenup translated to her native language?

Pre-nups are before a marriage not after, and yes money is very important.

So in case of divorce she gets nothing? or is she still your responsibility because of Affidavit of support?

PRE-NUP? Is money really more important to some than love or you just don't trust her even after 2 years of marriage and giving birth to your child...

My wife is setup on xoom.com for 2x a month transfer. She also have one of my BOA atm/debit/visa card. And a mastercard with $2500 limit that have her name because she's an authorized user.

Most US credit card company will let you add name without SSN as long as you tell them that she have the same address as you.

She can also access my online account so she can move money around, she's actually the one who pays all our bill via billpay.

Philippines$25 USD for Unlimited calls to the Philippines

Why are you guys paying? getting a U.S. phone number is free and it only takes a few minutes to get one. My wife have a U.S. phone number on her cellphone in the Philippines. We call each other unlimited 24/7. She can call/received from/to any U.S. number for free/unlimited,

We still use vonage because you can have two cellphones with vonage, one is linked to her phone in the Philippines, she don't ever need to buy a load to call anyone in the world.

You can get a U.S. phone number for free in the Philippines. Text and call each other just like a local call in the U.S. Unlimited. No adapter needed, no need to pay anyone.

PhilippinesKi Pinay Cenomar problem
I am in the process of annulment and hopefully receive the finality this month so my fiance could start filing I-129F this coming January. It took us 8 months for the annulment process. Bigamous marriage is easier and faster due to the fact that it is null and void from the very beginning. She can file the annulment while she is HERE in HK. Just need to attend the court hearing once. GOOD LUCK!

Hi babeej! My fiance lives in Virginia and he's complaining now about the cracked heels and dry lips. I advised him to use petroleum jelly. Applied on his heels every night and put on his socks. He felt relieved. He also apply a small amount on his lips before going to sleep.

PhilippinesPls!reply ASAP! Scheduling an interview appointment online.

Hi guys thanks all for the quick response.I got it right finally...but it saddens me that its gonna take more than 2 months before I see my love one as he will come on our interview , which is gonna be on feb3.All our plans are ruined just cause there's no available slots from now to feb2.We planned on going to US before the end of the year and do stuffs we talked about. This is so  sad and on feb 3 it will be 11 months of us not being with each other sad.png(.

I was feeling the same. Earliest being Feb 3rd. and we were hoping for at least new years together. I keep checking the website and took the very risky move when I saw Dec 6 comes up as available. So I got very lucky. Remember though can only reschedule twice!! So if you risk and reschedule, you lose your old one and then can only reschedule 1 more which might now be a couple more days/weeks then what you already had.

PhilippinesRecieved notice Petition Approved

You schedule USEM Interview and then want to do medical at least 2 weeks or more before interview date.

Also if you registered online with USCIS you should get an e-mail when they ship your NOA2 to NVC and then after a week keep calling till you get your MNL#

evanslyMale02013-11-25 07:25:00
PhilippinesINTERVIEW

schedule the soonest (feb 2014) that you can get.

reschedule if you find a better (sooner) schedule, but be warned its very risky to cancel and resched, slots get taken in a blink of an eye.

and don't forget to call the embassy to make sure your physical files have arrived. without it, you wont be interviewed.

This right here. We just did this. Scheduled for earliest, which at the time was Feb 3rd but for the first day I waited refreshing the page every hour or 2. Then Jan 30 came up so I took it. Then a few days later I login and Dec 6 was available. I took the risk, cancelled and then you go through the entire registration again, so have FAST internet. I was able to grab that Dec 6 slot!!

PhilippinesOctober 2013 NOA2's --> NVC received dates

I am still pretty early in the process since we only received our Noa1 and waiting for Noa2, but with the increased pace of USCIS, I figured I would see if I could check available interview at embassy dates.

Question is, at this point, would I even be able to check the dates. If so, how can I do that?

No, will be several weeks after you get your NOA2 till you can look up dates. Need your papers sent to the NVC and then call to get your MNL#, pay the visa fee at BPI and then you can look up the schedules.

Best guess right now is mid February but you can play the gambling game to get something sooner if someone cancels for some reason.

evanslyMale02013-11-25 12:48:00
PhilippinesOctober 2013 NOA2's --> NVC received dates

NOA2 approved Oct 25

NVC Received on Nov 21 !!

Takes about 9 days to get to the Phil.

Hoping to get lucky with an interview between Dec 8-15. My intuition has been pointing on Dec15th for a long time now, either the interview or arrival here. Hopefully we get lucky with a cancellation at the same time she tries to make an appointment.

They just fill up that fast. Already full till mid February already!

You can take the risk and gamble of waiting for a cancellation and being fast if you see 1 come up. I just grabbed a Dec 6 last leek!!! I saw a Nov 27 on there the other day too.

Did your status at TSC changed to indicate that they shipped your case to NVC?  If yes when did they ship it.  I have a notice date of 10/23 from TSC and got a text from TSC that they shipped our case to NVC on 11.8.13.  However NVC has not receive our case yet.  Thanks.
