K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January 2014 TSC Filers	No, he hasnt moved since.  He has been in Virginia the entire time, although he did move 6 months prior to that (from Georgia).  I'm trying not to get my hopes up, although it is teetering on that and being worried as ours is the only case that I have seen transferred.   He hasn't spoken or contacted anyone about it, although at the start of the process he did hire a lawyer, which as far as I can tell has been a waste of money.  The lawyer didnt even respond to him the last time he tried to contact him (about a month ago) which also seems a bit wrong (for lack of a better way to put it).  We both don't like to make waves, but I think the waiting is driving me more nuts than him.   I wonder if you get transfered to the California center if you get bumped up in the line there or if you get put after their current ones ?!  So many questions - and they give us so little information !! -- I also moved from Georgia to Virginia a few days before filing my petition so I dont think thats an issue - my lawyer did not mention anything about this being a problem.    best of luck to you ! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January 2014 TSC Filers	it looks like you are from virgina (or your fiance is from virgina). if you google "virgina senators" it will show you your options. they should have instructions on their websites for submitting an inquiry for help with a federal agency (look under something like "services" or "constituent services"). If they have a privacy form you can download on their website - download it and send it, along with a copy of your NOA1 document, to the fax number or address provided. then wait a day or two and confirm they received it. and stay on top of them about following up.      thank you thank you~ !! very helpful - do you think its appropriate to contact them if im just now past the 5 month mark?  Is it a sooner the better scenario ? - thank you again. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January 2014 TSC Filers	Someone in the December filer's thread called USCIS and they were told TSC is working on December 8th petitions.   There are many of us waiting, but if i understand this timeline (above - quoted from "jfgk1987") they've been approved and filed in January - so it would seem that they are working on January petitions now - which can give the rest of us hope! am i right? --- i hope so! grasping for anything to hold on to - this process is so straining ----- but makes us grateful for the time we will be soon granted together with our partner. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	January 2014 TSC Filers	hey there and welcome to the January Hell LOL. 6 months and 2 days here !!!! in the last month my fiancee keep called at TSC and all what they told her it was "we work at december 3th"... for a whole month we heard just this ! She contacted also the senator, until now nothing.... Thank you for your reply ! And yes,  it is hell - waiting waiting!!   and all the power out of our hands for the most important thing in our lives.    Its nice knowing other people going through the same thing.    Are you saying that it took them a month to process people who applied on 3rd Dec ?!    or that is where they are in the queue - that they are up to Dec 3 so the 5 months wait time has been pushed back   to really 8 months?!?!   I am going to call the customer service tomorrow - the # they have listed on their website, but from reading other peoples posts - it doesnt seem like they tell you much. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	February 2014 filers	I think there is a thread for calling USCIS, but in general if you're at the mark you can request to speak to a tier 2 officer and get some answers. If that doesn't work people call their local congressperson's office to look into the matter.... Good luck and I'm sorry to hear this We keep hoping for you feb filers!! Jake made it through just fine---he said immigration took 30 mins!!! We are both so tired today though...my mom and I have been painting the new place jake and I are moving into soon.....and he's been 20+ hours with little sleep...visa "journey" indeed. Our warmest congrats to those who are united and highest hopes to our fellow febs still waiting. It is worth it  Im so happy for you that you are with your partner - that he's made it through !   I just hope everything goes smoothly here on out -    I want to make sure Ive done all that I was required as well - After receiving the NOA1 I wasnt supposed to take any action   Just wait for NOA2 - Right ? My Fiance and I applied in early Feb 2014 and got our NOA1 on Feb 6th - Its now July 5th - and we havent heard anything since.  That is now the 5 month mark  - has any one any advice? When we call what do they say and is it unusual that ours should take this long?   We applied at the Texas Service Center and he is coming from the UK.    Thank you so much - reading these threads gives me a lot of hope. Speaking from experience, it took my parents 3 weeks to get a police certificate in karachi and even that was done through a source.... My advice would be to start the process of obtaining a police certificate as soon as NVC assigns u a case number and informs you of your next step... I hope this helps !! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April Filers 2013 K1	Can I make a suggestion?  Only because I know my case is still showing as Initial process.  Check all of them, like 100 around you. If there are any that have been approved, Call and ask.  It seems the TSC isn't updating the website nor are they sending things to NVC in a timely manner.  I feel for all of you, and yes I know it is unfair. I was pissed as well seeing cases filed weeks after me approved.  It should be done in order and if I had a say, I would demand those cases before mine are processed first.  my prayers are with all of you as I know how much of a strain this puts on everyone.  I haven't seen my fiance since christmas and every day apart is painful. I've looked at 100 before and about 200 after.  There are only 5 approved before mine, 8 RFE's before and AFTER (I went about 150 files after mine) there are: 16 approved, 10 RFE's, 11 transferred.   I know I'm close.  Just don't appreciate certain comments in here. I'll be congratulating them when they're approved.  What they are going through is so unfair.  USCIS is unfair.  I don't care right now if this insults you,  You'd be disappointed too every time you saw files filed AFTER yours getting approved but I guess you'll never know that feeling.  But I'm one day closer to my love...if you think that helps the situation, it doesn't.  Anyone who has seen my posts will see I've remained positive but at least up til now the CSC approvals haven't been rubbing it in our faces that they've gotten approved because they know it's hard for the Vermont filers as we know we have to waits months longer than you.  It's bulls&^% and we all know it. I always thought that they don't work on Sundays lol. So nervous now! What is next? On July 28, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. Yeah I think there's about 3 that are still on initial status including mine.  There are alot of RFE's and approvals.  OMG I am way too antsy right now!  If it hadn't been transferred, I would still be thinking September approval....but it's any day now HOPEFULLY! I am April 5 and most approvals I have seen are later.  I am trying so hard to be patient because I know we are still well within our processing time but that doesn't make it any easier. I was so excited to be transferred and now I'm seeing the ones that weren't get approved.  It's disheartening BUT I just really hope that means ours is going to be any day now.  It has to be, right? I just continue to pray & stay hopeful that our time comes soon. I haven't seen my fiancé since February and it's getting to me. I know I feel the same way, especially seeing people be approved weeks after mine was filed  I'm so anxious for it to go through.  I'm glad and happy for everyone that got approvals but come on lol!  I will get to see my fiance next week so I feel for you Jess.  I went 4 months without seeing him and it sucks.  Nothing is easy about this. Editing it but it says The last processing action taken on your case. ETC ETC The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at  edit # During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators.   When I checked my Status on USCIS it said: The I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at Edit. #  ETC ETC    I also received a text message... it basically says my case has been updated.   I hope hope HOPE this is good news.   I have been searching the posts made but didnt see about a third email with a text. Unless I overlooked it. Has anyone else received these messages in this order?? Wonder what is next!!!! This 3rd notice means that your file is now at the office and on someone's desk along with a pile of others.  It's great news.  I believe for those of us that got transferred that we will have an approval or RFE in about 3 weeks (fingers crossed). (just estimating that length based on the June 21 filers that got transferred).  For those that weren't transferred, I have a feeling your file is on someone's desk right now otherwise it would have been with our batch.  Keep those hopes up, mine are! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April Filers 2013 K1	Because of this news, I'm now planning to go to the usa and wait with my fiance.  I think at the beginning of August I am planning on going down.  It's sooner than I thought and now I'm just in awe that this is "finally" happening.  I just came back from the usa 2 days ago too.  Wish I had received this news ONE day sooner as I probably would have stayed in the usa on the full time allowed. (They stamped my passport with a B2 to stay til Dec 20-I'm hoping I won't have any issues at the border when i try again, wish me luck!) Congrats to all the approvals!  Our turn is coming! I wish you did it the way everyone else is doing because when I look at Igor's list, seeing the transfers in the RFE section makes for easier figuring out when every one gets approved.  But I guess it doesn't really matter  I'm really hopeful and sooooooo happy right now about this. I hope it's August, that would be a dream come true! Ok, I was just looking at a bunch of timelines.  Now I'm really confused.  The VJ timeline-are they estimating this is when your visa is in hand?? K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	April Filers 2013 K1	Good morning Fellow April filers.  2 Months down...Hopefully not too many more to go.  I am trying so hard to be patient but knowing my fiance likely won't be able to come to visit due to finances has made it tough.  We talk on skype every night, even if it is only for 15 minutes.  I would so love to have things in place to get an October Interview, even though I know that is pushing it.  how is everyone else doing?   It's going good for me.  I get to visit my man in 17 days (16 1/2 now lol).  I was denied entry last September so I'm praying and hoping for good luck that there won't be any problems at the border this time around.  I need to see him so bad.  But good vibes!  Plus, it's been 2 months, they transferred those 2 months of filers out of our way to texas...it can only be good news.  I am very excited about that.  I feel like within a week or 2 we are going to be seeing Feb filers getting approved.  At least this is what I'm really hoping for.  So I'm optimistic that April filers will start to be approved in August.  Too optimistic?
