Surprisingly, I did not freak out, instead chose to be po'd that it's a Tuesday (so will have to take 2 days off work), and obsess about the fact that I'm not planning to move until mid-December soooo no visiting my fiance in between. That sucks. He'll stil come up here, but I've come to really like Baltimore, and that's a long time not to visit... There's just no pleasing me is there?!! I remember a while ago Wishing posted something, and last year for one month there was only 4 K-1 interviews, I think it was June, and then the following month there was like 19... So I have a feeling that that's what happened for us too. Thanks everyone for being supportive about the customs thing. I KNOW how annoying I can get, believe me! Lucky me, I found someone who copes with it just fine! I'm sure it'll work out fine, it's just hard to control my nerves! I'm trying to figure out in what order they actually assign the dates... Last name of beneficiary? P3 logged in date? I'm sure everyone is thinking 'who cares, we got a date!' I'm so excited to call Monday, but it'll have to wait until 10:00, that's my first break at work! CAN'T WAIT! And, I just can't believe how things are working out! You'll have a soar bum from clanching everytime you hit a bump on the roads here... I think what you have is enough, most of the time I only got asked to show my flight itinerary, even though I brought bills and stuff, I didnt have to show any of it. Actually once I was crossing the border to fly outta Buffalo, the guard asked to see my itinerary, I went to hand it over, and it was REALLY windy that day, it all almost flew outta my hands, and he started waving at me to pull it back in the car, going "Oh man! Dont worry about it, have a nice trip!" he never even got to look haha. I havnt seen her since November Im REALLY looking forward to seeing her...BELIEVE me! Woah! November!!! When I went and picked up Chris in Virginia last year, we drove through, and had a trunk-full of suitcases, a TV and DVD player, and the guy never asked us to open it or anything... Chris ended up staying 7 months, and this year he came and visited twice, once in February, and then in May. He flew here, and the first time he had absolutely no problem, but the second time was a little more hastle... So don't worry, you should be ok too... Think positive, right!?! Canada	Approved November Filers - The Wait for Interview	Vero and Chris, i left you a comment on your profile about why i can't import my car. And i sucessfully crossed the border today to pick up my fiancé at the Burlington airport! I just said i have a visa but don't want to activate it today. The guard told me: "you know you have to get married within 90 days of your entry and you can't leave the USA". I said yes i know! and he asked a couple other questions, even called someone (i believe it was maybe his superiors or i don't know). Asked me to open the trunk (as i knew it was going to be complicated crossing the border, i didn't have anything in my car just in case they were gonna be suspicious). I was shaking because i was so stressed, and even more because he was calling and i didn't want to be denied. At the end, he finally let me through. It wasn't too complicated, and the guard was very nice. I'm glad i was able to cross the border today, and i can finally worry about the real POE now Yeah! Glad it went well! Canada	Approved November Filers - The Wait for Interview	Yes, it actually took them almost the full 2 weeks after the interview to send it, I dont think May 24 and Memorial day holidays helped that any since the consular folks get both Canadian and US holidays off. Im planning to POE June 30, my fiancee will be here on the 24th, we are going to finish cleaning and final packing of my place, load my stuff at Upack, dump whatever I cant take due to space requirements then if everything is clean, head out to drive to Santa Maria, CA. Im thinking on making my POE at Sarnia/BlueWater Bridge, no idea if its a good/bad place to POE or not yet though. Well good luck with everything! I'm sure it'll be ok. Wow, talk about a long drive though! Better think of road games to play while driving! Oh well, I'm sure you guys will have plenty to talk about When i was still in the idea that i could import my car, i was supposed to POE at Sarnia/Port Huron. I read so many reviews, what i can say is that it seems to be a good place, as lilacvioletiris said, but they don't do a lot of K-1 visa, so just make sure you know what you have to give them and what they are supposed to give you back, to be sure you don't miss anything! It's gonna look like you know more than them i know haha My fiancé is coming today, he's actually on the plane!! To burlington, VT.... So it's today that i try to cross the border without activating my visa, i'll let you guys know how it went How come you can't import you car? Good luck crossing the border! Let us know how it went! Canada	Approved November Filers - The Wait for Interview	I've read a few stories where some people have crossed and were stopped at the border. These same people ended up going to their K1 interview's and having to explain to the CO why they were stopped at the border. Usually the CO will put this sort of thing into consideration and it will likely go into Administrative Processing where the CO investigates the situation to make sure nothing more occured at the border. All in all it causes more grief then its worth sometimes. Just know that if your stopped at the border, you'll end up having to explain it to the CO at the time of interview -which may or may not go into AP. if it goes into AP, your wait time will feel like an eternity. I know it sucks, but that's procedure here. Mummm, that's weird because I've actually read quite the opposite from some people on here.
