The only thingis that they didn't want to import my car because they said - and I asked two different people- that I had to actually drive it across the border to do so... I dont want to bring it if I dont have to. Thanks anyone that knows. I think that Rose416 said she had brought them and they didn`t ask them from her... Apparently some couples are still being asked to fill out both, or the DS-156/K If they "used" Rose416 as a guinea pig for that form, I have a feeling it'll take a while still before they don't ask anyone to fill in the DS-156. Canada	August Interviews in Montreal - K1	Hello August Interviewees! I've got good news ~~~~~~~ I GOT APPROVED!!!!!! I will write my full review tomorrow (I took mental notes to share with you all). The only thing I'll let you know is - be prepared to WAIT! I arrived at the consulate first thing. 6:30am, no one in line. I didn't leave until 1:30pm. I was one of the last to leave. Ridiculous! It turns out that I was a 'guinea pig' for a new online program (D-160) for K1 visas. By the time I got called into the interview I didn't feel nervous, just annoyed and cranky. HAHA. So, relax, get your paperwork together, have a good breakfast and bring a good book. Once they tell you you're approved nothing else matters! I am going to celebrate with my mom in rainy Montreal. OMG!!! YEAH!!! THE FIRST APPROVAL OF AUGUST!!! I'm SO happy for you Rose416!!! Thank you so much for popping in today, I've been thinking about you since 7:00 am!!! Can't wait to read your review!!! And I walked by the consulate today after having picked up my medical results, there was no line or nothing outside, and as I was reading the signs on the door, a guard comes out and was like "yes, may I help you with anything?"... He was nice enough, I should have ask him to go in there and tell them to hurry up already! Well, let's keep each other posted tomorrow, I'll probably call at 4:45... Canada	Approved November Filers - The Wait for Interview	Hey everyone, Well, I hate to say this, but I have a bad feeling... CR-1/IR-1 interview dates were given to a handful of people, and from looking at their thread, a lot of them are still waiting on dates, and haven't received them yet. I don't know if Montreal is gonna wake up again on Friday and hand some more, but I'm starting to come to the fact that interviews for K-1s might be more in August than in July. If as a rule the consulate needs to give 4 weeks notice for interviews, then we need to have dates on Friday the 4th for any interview dates on the first week of July. Praying hard that we do! I did not get a very helpful person yesterday on the phone, and I asked her if she had any idea when I would get a date, and all she could say was that 'all looks good, but they are still waiting for a date to become available'... I might try again this afternoon, but I'm starting to feel like I'm just wasting my time... But I'm sending all of us good vibes for Friday - or maybe today, who knows at this point!
