Canada	Fellow Canadian VJers removing Conditions..	the only thing i can think of is that we don't have the same last names...i also didn't include a copy of my driver's license because i had it stolen days before we sent the ROC off and was waiting for my replacement to come in the mail. anyway i have it now so i'll include that with the marriage certificate copy. i think i will go ahead and spend another 30 to overnight - we're getting so close! but goes to show, that's what ya get when you complain right off the bat. i should know better! Canada	Fellow Canadian VJers removing Conditions..	Hi - I received my receipt notice on Friday; it was dated 01-07-13. One step closer! I do have a question though; I tried to log my receipt notice # on the USCIS website to get updates, and it kept telling me that the # didn't work. In early December we had ordered checks with our new address, but for some reason, there was a mistake in the printing, and as a result, I won't have our new checks until mid-January. Can I pay using a check with our old address or will they see that as an issue? Our bank doesn't issue money order, would a cashier's check work? Another person from the July 2012 filers got an RFE so maybe we were all on the same desk of someone who was processing applications a bit faster than everyone else. I am excited about starting Naturalization for my DH this next summer once we have been married 3 years. Same here, as soon as that 3 year mark comes up, I'm applying! Congrats again! Canada	Fellow Canadian VJers removing Conditions..	Now I have to say that getting tax transcripts and 3 different affidavits from a friend, coworker, and pastor probably made a difference for us. My DH just got his letter saying his 10 year green card was approved. It has probably been sitting in our "junk" mail box for a couple days. Crazy plain looking envelope and plane paper with no letter head specialness to speak of. We got approved on 12/10/12 after sending our information in on 7/31/12. We weren't expecting anything until March or April. We are definitely going to do the Naturalization next summer once we have been married 3 years because I want to be done with ever having to pay USCIS any money. I sent in my I751 with my married name and they sent my NOA1 and biometric appt. to me in my married name. I didn't send in the W2's with my tax returns just the returns that were done by a tax accountant. Welcome to the long wait everyone Hahaha, I know right! I'm hoping for a smooth ride! I'm getting my evidence ready, and just had a quick question: should I delay sending the forms in and wait for my tax transcript or can I send in my tax returns? The guide said it was preferable, but wanted to see what you guys had done. Also, I sent in my address change notice about a month and a half ago. To this date, I haven't received any confirmation and neither has my sponsor. Should I include the copy of the forms and delivery confirmation from USPS in the package or not even bother with that? Canada	The Vent Part Quatre	That's one of the things that has always bugged me about my husband - he always says 'uh huh' instead of 'thank you' or 'you're welcome'! I know he isn't being rude and is acknowledging something, but it has always sounded rude to me, too. I get the blank looks when I say 'you're welcome' to some one as well - or 'excuse me'. No one says 'excuse me' or 'I'm sorry' if something they do infringes on you - like push past you in the grocery store with their cart, or something. You get used to it after a while and realize they aren't meaning to be rude, they have just never learned to use these phrases. I get called Hon or Honey a lot, especially by cashiers or waitresses. I guess it is better than ma'am . One Southern custom I do like is calling a woman 'Miss" as in "Miss Kathryn". That is what they say when they do know you and don't have to call you 'hon' . Age and marital status don't come into play - every woman is "Miss (first name)" to men, women and children who are allowed to use your first name. It's kind of nice. Yep that's true! I haven't encountered too many rude people around where we live, I'm lucky I guess! Well, being from Quebec, I'm kinda used to rude people so this is an improvement! But I think I've read enough about this On the Road cast from hell... I'm too scared of being disapointed now... They got some really good talent behdind the camera in Francis Ford Coppola producing, and they got Walter Salles (who did The Motorcycle Diaries) to direct. Garrett Hedlund plays Dean and Kristen Stewart plays Mary Lou. I guess she'll bite her lip 200 times, and suck the life out of every scene she's in. Viggo Mortenson and Amy Adams are in the movie too. Really? Garrett Hedlung? Gee, that ruins it for me right there... That is SO NOT who I would have picked for that part... So upon my arrival at work, I decided to do a little searching about it, and the main actor. I got even more excited to see that he is actually staring as Dean Moriarty in Coppola's adaptation of one of my favorite books of all time, On The Road by Jack Kerouac. I read a bit more about the movie and the cast and crew, and then I saw the name, the name that will ruin any movie..... Kristen Stewart. I seriously don't think I can see this movie. :sad: Thanks twitards for going to see a series of sh!tty movies, with no writing ability or acting ability. Now hollywood executives think that people like Kristen Stewart can act. Thanks twitards, thanks a lot. Oh hell yeah! That's such a good book! Hopefully she won't ruin the entire movie... Canada	The Vent Part Quatre	Well, this is my first post on here, and yes, I do need to vent about something, or some things... 1st: P3 has been logged for 43 days and no interview date yet. Yeah yeah, I know you guys are way past that point, but GOSH is it ever frustrating to wait for a date and not know if one is actually gonna pop up for the next month, or if you're gonna wait around for another 2-3 months... 2nd: A 17 year-old mother left her 3 weeks old baby in a car seat on the floor in her living room while she went outside for a cigarette, and her roomate's husky bit the baby and killed it. I don't know what's more frustrating here, the fact that she had a baby at 17, the fact that she smokes, the fact that she left her 3 weeks old unnatended on the floor with dogs around or a combination of all these points... We're planning on going on our honeymoon in the spring (better late than never!) and at first I was thinking of New Zealand but with having to change the unit, no way that can happen, what destination do you suggest?
