Canada	August Interviews Crew - AOS Journey	Hey guys - for those of you who got an RFE did you register it at the post office or just pop it in the mail? Kinda think I should register/certify it...wanna be sure they get it after all this! When you have a sec., thanks, B I'm sure it's more of a matter of you worrying about it. I've heard people sending their I-129F petition through snail mail, and everything was just fine. If you want to make sure it gets there, and not worry yourself sick - something I would have done for sure - then pay the extra to get it registered/certified... Canada	August Interviews Crew - AOS Journey	Alright, so the A# : Should match on all your documents, NOAs and cards. I just checked everything since the K1 and it's the right number on everything. If you guys find something that doesn't match, I'd call USCIS to make sure everything is OK Alaba, the date you put in for your AP doesn't need to be the exact date of your trip. There is no date on the actual AP, so when you filed the forms for it, the dates you put in were kind of unnecessary really in the grand scheme of things... Glad your appointment went well! One more step done! Brenda2010, wow glad you don't have to make a trip to Canada just for that!!! Hopefully this issue will get resolved soon, seems like quite the pain in the a**!!! I just think that someone somewhere thought that the A# should be the number on the card stapled to our passports, but in reality i think i was never an A#, just something everyone used for "security" purposes. Ah well, should be interesting to see what happens. Here's a question for everyone, is it possible to change our AP date? What do you mean, like if it's possible to extend it? Canada	August Interviews Crew - AOS Journey	Wow, this is all pretty crazy stuff!!! Alaba, what I would do is bring every NOA you have ever received since the K1, and ask if a mistake was made. If there was a mistake, I believe they can fix that at the biometrics appointment. I know of a member that had the wrong birthday on their green card, and they had to go for a walk-in appointment at the same place where her bio appointment was... Maybe you can knock two birds with one stone... Brenda2010, does that mean you have to go all the way back to Canada??? What a pain!!! So, they did not match with the prints taken at the K1 interview, is that it? Gosh, this is so ridiculous!!! Well, keep us posted you guys, maybe this week will bring better news to all of you... Tomorrow is my Birthday...I don't wanna hit 30 yet!!! I'll still have one more year to go. Going to have a nice birthday dinner tomorrow to celebrate. Actually, it makes sense that they issue the EAD and AP before the green card, because once you received your green card, your EAD and AP are invalid. Those two documents are issued while you're waiting on your green card basically. So you can work and travel while the green card is being processed... Well, hopefully it's just something stupid and insignificant that you guys forgot, and you'll be back on track before you know it! Keep your head up, it could be worse! We're very lucky that we all had each other to vent to and get reassurance! Congratulations on the green card girrrrl! Nice feeling, enh? Alaba, I would definitely try a walk-in... Bring everything you have so far, like e-mail notifications and what not. It's just so weird that they would emit your card without picture/finger prints, so obviously they messed up somewhere along the way... Is the office far from you? Because they need those for the card... And what about your EAD and AP, did you ever apply for those? Did you get them? You would also have needed your biometrics for your EAD card... I just wish it was not at 8 in the morning. We will have to be up by about 6am to get to Atlanta by then. Alex is not a happy boy when you wake him so this should be such a fun trip.... I just watched on tv a cat that went and caught a fish out of the water at a beach. It was pretty kool to see. J&J your Easter egg hunt sounds awesome. We did that one year for the kids on our street but we went and hid the eggs at the park. They had a blast even tho it was a bit chilly that morning. Taco salad is always good and easy to make. I hope that dog is alright. You must be very worried. I hope someone took her in. She will probably show up in a few days if someone hasn't taken her in. Biometrics on Friday for me. Woohoo. Not much going on here, Chris has to work Saturday, and if it's sunny Sunday we'll probably go to the river. We'll bring Tobias if the river has gone down (our dog). Last year, Tobias caught a fish!!! Gosh, I hope she's ok!!! When I was walking Tobias yesterday, a female possum was dead on the road, and when I got closer, she had 5 or 6 little babies that were ran over too... It was so sad! And then when I came back that way, one of them was still alive!!! I felt horrible! I was wondering if I should pick it up or something... And this morning they were gone... Gosh it was sad! Canada	August Interviews Crew - AOS Journey	We just cut down the trees and bushes in our front yard. I couldn't stand the darn things. I like being able to look out the window and not have trees blocking my view of the road. I do feel bad for killing a tree tho We took in three cats of my sister in-laws. One is black and white, really fat and old (about 11 years) his name is Moo Moo. The second one is gray (looks blue in some lighting) and is about 6 years old, his name is Zipper and the last one is a little black one named Zoey. Shes about 3 years old. Sister in-law is supposed to be taking the younger two back when she finds a place that will allow her to own pets. Sucks because Alex has really taken to Zoey and calls her his cat. I secretly hope that she doesn't take the cats back so Alex won't be upset. My mom and older sister's birthdays are coming up this month and I'm bummed out about missing my mom's 50th birthday. My sister is throwing her a party and we (my two sisters and I) bought mom a ring with our birth stones in it and the birth stones of mom's four grandchildren. Shes gonna cry when she gets it. Other then that nothing is new here. Just waiting for the 22nd to get here so I can get my biometrics done and over with. Hahaha, I love the cat's name, Zipper!!! That's awesome! Canada	August Interviews Crew - AOS Journey	We havn't got ours YET ..Ugh We so need it right now! Doggie is doing good..but I don't think anyone is committed on keeping her. I think we are going to step in and bring her to the SPCA Saturday. They are only open 3 days a week here. I'm so scared she'll get hit by a car. I'd rather have her somewhere where I know she'll be fed, safe and hopefully placed in a great home. It's been beautiful here.. in the 80's. Been planting some flowers and got some hanging baskets hung up now. Now i'm just waiting for my hummingbirds to come back. I'm offically a bird watcher now! LOL Well, I think that if you file at a certain time the wait gets longer because everyone kind of files at the same time... Our neighbor filed a month ago and still hasn't received his refund... We filed in January, I think that might be why we got the refund so quick... Flowers!!! Gosh I wish we had a house so I could plant some! So jealous!!! Canada	August Interviews Crew - AOS Journey	Hi Ya'll.. I've noticed there is alot of animal lovers on this forum.. So I thought i'd ask ya'll for some advice. I'm kinda stuck and don't know what to do. Just last night we got a new visitor..Have no idea where this little female dog came from and it looks as if she might be in the beginning stages of being preggo..She is the sweeeetest thing ever tho. The thing is, is that we have three male dogs already and it just would not work out with a female in the mix...along with pups eventually. What should i do??? She will not leave..We don't have a animal shelter here, but we do have a SPCA with limited room. Would they take a preggo dog?? Oh boy, why do all the lil animals always come to us... Worried about the lil girly and venting... Wow, that's quite the predicament! I would call the SPCA and see what they say, they might not even have room right now... What about a shelter in a city close by? Poor little thing! And what about family members? Of course my advise would be to keep her, but since you already have 3 dogs, that just wouldn't work! What kind is she? Or what kind does she look like she's mixed with (I assume she's just a mutt...) Gosh, why can't people be responsible with their animals??? Oups, forgot...
