I have been checking the August fillers and soooooo many of them are getting NOA2 from the VSC, and CSC does not seem too far behind!!! I hope one of us gets it soon. wow.gif I am dreaming of the moment one of you writes here that they got their NOA2!!!

wow, you're giving good news, is the California Center really not too far behind "speedy VSC"?
I hope I'll be the one to post that NOA2s for September fillers are coming jest.gif

Yeah I saw some Mid July's from CSC getting their NOA2's as well!

Did anyone else notice the Igor's list has a VSC September filer approved on October 7th? It was 29 days from filing to NOA2. CONGRATS AJ and J !

I'm wondering if this was an expedited case or just want through normal procedures. If you are out there we want to hear from you!!

MINE Has been touched 3 times.. don't say RFE, don't say RFE! ohmy.gif

Sorry.. I didn't mean to make you worry with my post!!! I would just assume I got one, because when I first sent my packet I thought I had forgotten to sign the darn I-129F. I didn't.. but even though I have gone over everything I sent, and have found NOTHING they could give me an RFE for I would just assume I was getting one.. because that would be my luck!

If I saw another touch this early, I would be worried it was an RFE. I'm with you.. would rather have it sit there and then get that LAST touch..

I have small bottle of champagne I am saving for the day the first September filer gets approved ( without being expedited)... I know it won't be me, since I filed toward the end of the month.. so, I have a big bottle of champagne waiting for the day we get approved!

Come on September.. I would love to see one of you get the good news this week. It happened that fast for some of the August people, no reason one of you couldn't be that lucky!!!!

Here's hoping!

that's awesome. Great idea.
Wont be me. Im from the end of september and at CSC!

I'll be happy for any September couple.. but I will be really happy if they are from VSC smile.gif... sorry

The worst part of the wait is that I haven't seen her since July 28th when I left the airport in Warsaw,Poland on my flight back home to Florida. Don't know when I will be able to see her again cause I can't get time off and the visits to my home country are costing a lot now. Good luck to everyone who filed in September. I'm at VSC so hopefully I'm counting on maybe seeing her by her birthday in Feb 2010 smile.gif

May 13th was the last time we were together... wish it had been July!

Hey Sept filers! I was on the site a lot when prepping, but this is my first post. Maybe that's for the best, as I see people are going a bit crazy waiting. wacko.gif Here's are a couple little concerns; I have generally researched them, but I'll put them out there in case anyone in the group can relate.

- Denied 2x for tourist visa. crying.gif
- I'm not sure about what I gave them as Andrea's address; it wasn't as detailed as it could've been. But her correspondance will be with couriers, not the postal service, so I think it will be handled well and they will call her if they need more info.
- Still contemplating whether I will accompany her to her visa interview. That's a very big extra expense and is not required, but I've heard it helps. What are others thinking who have an expensive flight?
- What is this "touch" business all about? Someone fill me in.

Other than that, I followed VJ guidelines very closely and my application was about 45 pages with all the proofs. I tried to be as thorough as possible so I don't get an RFE.

Anyone applying in Colombia? "friend" me.

The Tourist Visa denials won't affect the K1 visa. We had two tourist denials as well, and I was worried about that, but was told it will not cause an issue. With the Tourist Visa, we were denied because couldn't show enough proof that Fuat would return to Turkey. With the K1 he's not returning, so it's a whole different ball game.

As for going to the interview.. that depends on the consulate. Some allow it.. some don't. Luckily, the consulate in Turkey allows it so I will definitely be going to the interview.

If you go to the embassy reviews link, or the regional discussions, and find the thread for your consulate you should be able to find out whether or not they will let you in. If you can go it's a big plus..especially in a case where there may be some doubts of the info.

In some of your timelines, I see "touched" What does that mean??

That means something has been done with your application. It could simply be that it was moved from one desk to another.. it could mean something more was done with it. If you go onto the USCIS web page, you can check the status of your petition when you sign in to your account. It will show the last date any kind of action was taken and this is what people refer to as a "touch"

I have read, in other forums, that every time your application is handled they scan the barcode and that is how it is registerd that some action has been taken. Again, it could simply be that your petition was moved from one pile to another. It could mean they were working on your petition.

Some people get mutliple touches, some only get one.. It seems they don't always scan it when they do soemthing with it. I think mine was probably when they took the check out of my packet to cash it smile.gif

Thank you! I have been "touched" once too. I feel like I am addicted to checking this thing. We had our wedding scheduled for October 31, but had some delay in the paperwork gathering. I had to cancel everything, but was hoping to still be able to get together on the date...even if I had to meet him in Hawaii!

Ohhh.. Sorry you had to cancel everything. Getting married on Halloween! That would be fun smile.gif It looks like they are still approving a good number of recent applications, though I am prepared that will slow down soon. Maybe some of the early September filers, like you, will get lucky.. and then all the October filers can start getting excited by seeing your approval dates they way we all are about seeing someone from August get approved!

I know what you mean about being addicted to checking all of this. The person who told me about this site warned me that it could be a little addictive. I check it way too often, when I should be spending my time doing something more productive smile.gif

Ok quick poll... how many people here love skype?

Skype is a godsend for us. Even though we don't actually get to "Skype" that often, only once a week when my fiance is in port, it's still wonderful to see his face (however fuzzy with the terrible internet connections there! wink.gif) But the bigger reason it's a godsend is because i use their "skype to go" service to call him from my cell phone and also to send him SMS to his cell from my computer. much cheaper than what my cell provider charges, even with the international plan.

Skype is great for the phone and SMS messages.. but to see and talk to each other we use MSN. Much bigger and better quality picture and sound. I can't imagine only being able to see him once a week sad.gif I think I would go crazy! Even with the text messages and phone calls throughout the day.

The hardest part for us is that when he's on his computer before going to bed, I'm still in my office.. and supposed to be working smile.gif.. but my boss is great about it and my employees know not to bother me between 4:30pm and 5:30pm unless it's really important!!

So, I have been reading a bunch of forums lately and I keep seeing people write how they put their petition information in binders and 2 hole punched then at the top, with tabs on each section of information.. "as USCIS suggested."

???

I followed the VJ guidelines and never saw anything that said to two hole punch, tab sections or put in a binder. So.. I didn't do that. Everything was neatly submitted, and each section was binder clipped together but I do not do all the little "extras" other people are talking about.

Now, after reading peoples posts, I have gone back through all the guidelines on VJ and don't see it.. so I checked out the USCIS page and did find someplace where they wrote "this is appreciated."

Well, I am sure they don't appreciate me not doing it smile.gif

Just wondering if any of the other September filers didn't see this handy little "suggestion" before they sent off their packets?

I will probably get placed at the bottom of a pile, because they won't want to have do to all the hole punching and binding.. but HEY.. at least I signed that darn form and they accepted the package smile.gif

Hi everyone,

I just received an email from the USCIS stating "On September 28, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)." Can anyone tell me if this is this my NOA2?

I filed the I-129F ~Aug. 23 and my NOA-1 was issued on Aug. 25, so I was a little surprised by this email (seems early). The USCIS website has my case status as "Post Decision Activity" (it was in "Initial Review"). I'm a little worried that maybe I've just been denied or something, but both the website and the email state "approved" and I don't think there's a reason they would deny me. I haven't received anything in the mail yet (just got the email and text message tonight), so maybe it's just a glitch in their new website? I guess I'll cross my fingers for now.

When I checked Igor's List, this morning, there are now 7 August filers who were approved in September. One actually had only 11 days between NOA1 and NOA2 ( but three months between the time they sent the packet and got the NOA1.. that confused me a little and I'm still not sure I was reading it correctly).

I know we shouldn't get our hopes up that things could go this quickly, but it sure is hard not to .

Correction.. I looked at the list again and they had 6 days between NOA1 and NOA2.. but the petition was filed in March. So strange that they would wait 5 months for NOA 1. Maybe they entered something in thier timeline wrong.

I had no idea an rfe took longer. I just thought that they send a request and you fulfill it the the processing continues, and you are still on the clock. Why does it take longer?
[/quote]

I thought the same as you.. One of the moderators told me that an RFE will take longer, as everything is stopped, and that it will be better that they will resend and I will have to start over..

Maybe RFE's go into a pile that just sits there while "new" applications are taken care of right away.

One thing I have noticed on people's time lines is that they are getting RFE's 4 and 5 months AFTER the NOA1 date. I wonder what takes SO LONG for them to decide they need more evidence?

I don't know..

Well, someone let me know that everything will be returned, including the check, if I didn't sign the form and that it would actually be better to have this and start over as opposed to an RFE.. they said the RFE would take longer than having to resubmit the entire packet. If they return the packet it will take about two weeks.

So.. now I will just sit and hold my breath to see if the check clears. If it clears, then I know I signed the form. Nothing to do now but wait.. sad.gif

They cashed it yesterday, but it didn't show up in my bank until today. So maybe it's just taking your bank longer to post it to your account. Some banks will allow you to call them and see if you have a pending check.

I hope it's soon!!!

Right now I feel like I am going to be ill.. I was just adding something to my stack of "proof of relationship after filing" and happened to notice something on my copy of the I-129F. I didn't sign it. I remember putting it aside in my copy of the packet, but I do not remember signing the OTHER copy. The night before I sent the packet out, I went over everything and notice that part of Fuat's address was missing, but I do not remember noticing my signature was missing. I can't believe I would miss something like THAT!

I can only hope that I did actually sign the form I sent in. I am just sick right now.

I wonder if they would send the whole packet back.. or if they would accept it, cash the check, and then send me an RFE. Either way, if I didn't sign that form I am going to be so upset!

Sent our I-129F packet today ( overnight delivery)... Probably a waste of money to send overnight, since this is going to be a long processes. But if it makes it go one day faster it will be worth it.

Hi ! I just wanted to welcome you all and say good luck.... I see some of the September 2009 "Family" have already stopped in to welcome you :)

Hold on tight..it's going to be one heck of a bumpy ride, but will be worth it in the end. This group is going to become like your family and you are going to rely on each other more than you probably realize.

I had a pang of sadness, when I saw this thread, and realized the journey for our 2009 group is almost at an end ( at least for the next two years :))... but I think we are all happy to turn over the job to all of you. Any time any of you need any help or advice, I am sure we will be here to help you!!

I work for an amusment park, so as we say in my world.. "Sit upright, hold on tight and... enjoy the ride"

Well, we just got out biometrics appointment date and OF COURSE it is during the time we were planning to go to Michigan for a family reunion. Oh well...
Family vs. immigration? I think immigration will have to win out.

Here's a list of everything I included in the packet ( This is how I listed it on the cover letter):
* FYI... Fuat lost his greencard, so that is why he has an I-551 stamp in his passport. Don't panic when you see that on my list. Luckily, we had a copy of the front of his greencard, but not the back. Expecting an RFE because of it, but nothing we can do about it. I included a note explaining why, so hopefully that helps.

• Copies of the passport, green card, and temporary I-551 stamp for Fuat Yildiz

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsSeptember 2009 K-1 Visa Filers Part 2!!
Well Ladies... The packet is in the mail! Finally!!

I still can't believe where the time has gone.

When I finally finished the packet I got so nervous, and then wondered what the heck I was afraid of. We have already made it through the roughest part ( I hope :) )

I took a look at the VSC timeline and they are currently processing ROC applications from JULY 2011. Reeeally???? Oh boy.. it looks like it is going to be the longest wait yet. If it takes that long to get through VSC we'll be able to get ready for him to apply for citizenship before he has conditions removed and the new greencard in hand :)

Who knows. We got NOA2 for the I29F in 25 days...maybe we'll set some new record for ROC too :)

One can only hope!

Ladies!! I am sitting at my kitchen table and putting together our packet for Removal of Conditions. WOW does this bring back some memories ! It made me think of all of you, of course, and the mornings of waking up and logging on this page before any of us had even gotten the sleep out of our eyes yet.

I am almost done with the packet and hoping to have it in the mail by the end of the week.

Kayla... get those fingers and toes ready. Hoping we won't need them, but doesn't hurt to be prepared :)

Hope everyone is well!

LADIES!! I can't believe I found us on page 14 .. What the #$#^*&^?

And then to be greated by a jerk and his assanine comment. Well, even though he is a jerk I wish him well on his interview in a few weeks. He's got a really tough embassy to get through.

Things have been good for us. My health has been great, we just spent 3 weeks with Fuat's family in Turkey and now down to business of getting the amusement park open next month.

More importantly.. our two year anniversary is in 3 weeks :) AND.... I have to start all the paperwork for Removal of Conditions! Can you believe how fast the time has gone?? I think I am the first of us to have to file, so I will keep you all updated on the crazy paperwork and what goes on.

I REALLY need to get back on facebook so I can join all of you in stalking each other!

Karen - are you still traveling the world?

Kayla - How's school, Indiana.... any updates on the pregnancy issue?

Krystal - How's the little man!! :)

Maggie - Where are you? Last I heard you were in Indiana but haven't heard much else.

Tiffany ( Frenzy) - How are things with you? Just got your message you sent me on here.

Ladies, I miss talking to you every day. I hope things are good with everyone and I can't wait to hear how Removal Of Conditions goes for all of us!!!!!

You are in my heart!

This is a September 2009 titled thread.... hope its dead.

I would tell you what I think of your comment, but that would't be ladylike and it would probably get me banned from this site.

Go back to your own thread. No need for you to bother with ours. As has already been pointed out, we use this thread to keep in touch. I don't recall seeing anything that said we had to stop posting once we all got approved.

I feel lucky that we were a group that meshed so well and have such a close connection to each other.

If you dont' want to see our thread. Don't read it. It's that simple.

I can't believe it's been two months since I have been able to log on this page.... but seriously, I have thought about all of you several times a week. Everytime I think I will log on, I get a phone call or Menekse ( Fuat's 13 year old sister) needs something, or someone walks into my office.

Fuat took his sister home yesterday and I am alone in the house... it's so quiet. I should enjoy it,have some alone time for a few days, but it just feels too strange.

When I logged on I saw the September 2011 thread and my heart ached for a few minutes. It really made me miss all of you more than I normally do.

TWO YEARS! Then I looked at the calendar and realized that two years ago today I was going over and over an over all those papers.. and then I put them in the mail. Karen, Kayla... our two year anniversary of filing is here. Wow.

Karen - I am so envious that you are taking the time to travel. I get to travel all over the world for my job, but it's work so it's not the same. Yes, I get a few days to sight see wherever I go, but to be able to just pick up and go off for 5 months.... WOW! I wish I had done it when I was young enough to quit my job, travel for a few months and then just come home and get another job. I'm a little past that point now. If I ever happen to get layed off I am going to do exactly what you are doing now... but since I am a "protected class" :) and have been in my job for 20 years I am usally last on the list for a lay off. Oh well! ENJOY...and if you are going to Turkey LET ME KNOW! I can give you some great contacts and I should also be there in November and February. Going to Thailand in first week of November... who knows... maybe you would be there too :)

Kayla - glad to hear things are going well for you in Indiana. Maybe you can teach me how to cook :)

Frenzy - What's the latest with you?

Krystle - how is the little one? Yes, I was thrown into motherhood, but I enjoyed it as much as I could. My little surgery and that pesky cancer ensured I will never know about the burping and midnight feedings :) Yes, I know there is always adoption, and Fuat and I have talked about that, but once his sister had a baby it was really hard for him to consider that. He's so heart broken about us not being able to have children, and right now he feels like he couldn't adopt... the baby would never really be "his". One day he may change his mind, but only time will tell. This part of our life has been hard for us, but hardest for him I think. I can see it in his face every time he sees someone with a baby or he plays with the little girl who lives nextdoor. He would be such a great father, and wants it SO much. That is the only thing in this life I can't give him and it breaks my heart...

Other than that, things have been really good for us. We had a great summer with his sister... took her to Niagara Falls, NYC, Atlantic City, Detroit ( why would we go to Detroit of all places? My mom lives there), Cleveland ( to go to Cedar Point.. if any of you have heard of it) Washington DC and Virginia Beach.

I really miss getting up in the morning and getting on here to talk to all of you while I have my first cup of coffee... so that is what I am doing now.

Only 7 more months before I have to start filing all those papers again. I hope I don't forget and miss the deadline :):):)

I hope all everything is still goign well for everyone and I will try to check in more often. Hopefully you all will too.

I MISS YOU!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress ReportsSeptember 2009 K-1 Visa Filers Part 2!!
HEY... I FOUND US!!

I suppose it would be so much easier for me to keep up to date if I would just get back on facebook :) No time for that kind of stuff yet.

I'm sorry to hear bad news from Frenzy and Kayla.. happy to see good news from Krystle and the honeymoon/ job news I read about Maggie and Karen when I found our old page.

FYI Karen.. I didn't get a message saying you may be in Turkey in Sept/ Oct. Would love to hear about that. I will be there in September as well :)

Fuat's sister is here, and has been for the past month... I love having her around, but suddenly becoming mother to a 13 year old ( and one who doesn't speak much English) has been interesting to say the least :)

A few updates frome me:
1. Health is good though have had some problems they tell me are post-chemo related. Cysts and small surgeries etc. Nothing too serious... have developed fibromialgia as well.. chronic pain is not fun.. but there are drugs for that :)

2. Fuat has a job working in Security and he loves it. He just bought his first car ( 2011 Hybrid Escape). Nice car and he looks great in it:)

3. We're thinking of trying to buy a house, but want to see what happens with my job. I could be transferred back to Ohio.

and... #4. Tomorrow is the 1 year anniversary of getting approved for our greencard which means.. we file for that 10 year greencard and removal of conditions... in....9 months :):)

Looks like we need to get ready for another rollercoaster ride :)

I know I am not on here very often, but I want to tell you that I really miss talking with all of you and I think about you more often than you realize!

I hope everyone is happy and healthy... and hopefully I will be back on here soon.

Middle East and North AfricaMuslims

Amy I think you are doing the right thing! Having a good companionship is so important when you are new! I remember when I decided to take my religion seriously I had the most amazing friends who really stood by me and supported me when so many ppl in my family and even friends were against for so long!!

Like Kenza said May Allah reward you for this and keep you both on the right path always ameeeen.

I am so glad to have found this thread and wish that I had found it months ago. I converted to Islam a little over a year ago and sometimes it has been very difficult, because I don't have a companion here to guide me, answer questions, show me the right way for things.

I read Amy's post about the woman she met and think it is the best advice she could give a person. I tried to learn everything at once.. wudu, salat, hadiths, wearing the hijab, learning what I could no longer eat, etc. It was all so overwhelming. Focusing on the most important things first, and worrying about small details like hijab later, helped for it to become a little less overwhelming. Though I must admit, even a year later I am HORRIBLE at trying to wear the hijab correctly :)

We do have a decent size Muslim population in my area, and I had tried to attend women's meetings at the mosque near my home, but they were always held during the weekday afternoons and it was not possible for me to miss work to be able to attend these. I tried a few times, but it was just too difficult with my work schedule and then they stopped holding these meetings, so it was no longer an option for me. My work schedule also keeps me from going to prayers at the mosque, so learning has been difficult for me.

I have had to learn much on my own..reading from the internet, reading from books, and I sometimes find that things I thought I had been doing correctly I was not. I taught myself Salat from watching videos on the internet. On my last visit to Turkey, my fiance's sisters showed me that I had been doing some things wrong.

We don't speak the same language, but they were wonderful in trying so hard to communicate to me what I was doing wrong and what I needed to do differently. I was upset that what I had thought I had been doing correctly all this time wasn't correct at all, but my Fiance was very quick to point out that what was in my heart was what was most important.. and if I what I had been doing was what I truly believed was correct then it did not matter and I should not worry about mistakes I had made with salat in the past.

We both look forward to the day we will be able to be together and he can help to answer my questions and help me to learn the things I still do not know. INSALLAH.

Once he is here, I will be able to change my work schedule and will hopefully able to meet some other women in my area that can help to guide me.

Amy, I hope you will see that woman again and be able to help her. I wish I had met someone like you when I first began this journey.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresWaiting line for interview in Ankara Turkey

Does anyone have a clue how long is the wait in Ankara Turkey for an interview to be sent there? Me and my wife completed our case the second of november and we are still waiting for an interview. We wont even get one in feb.

When you say "completed your case" do you mean got the NOA2 and went on to NVC ..or it was received at the Consulate...or you sent Packet # 3 in the second week of November?

Our file was received at the Consulate on 11/2
We got the "Packet #3" email on 11/6
We mailed in the papers for Packet # 3 on 11/18
Got our Interview date, in an email, on December 1

interview set for end of February. They have been scheduling March and April interviews for a few weeks now.

Editing : Sorry, just noticed that you said you and your wife were waiting, so your process may be different from what we had to do for K1. I do know that is seemed like we waited forever to get an interview date. I have also heard that Ankara is now getting backlogged.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresSubmitting documentation with the I-129F application
Thanks for the information!

So, instead of sending the actual emails, I should just send a screen shot of my inbox?

According to the lawyer I spoke with I would need print outs of everything and spent HOURS doing this... I suppose I should hold on to all of them in case they are needed later.

I must say I am glad I found this site. I've found more information in one day than I have in a few weeks of researching and talking to an attorney.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresSubmitting documentation with the I-129F application
I was going to use a lawyer for all of this, but after getting some feedback from members of this site I think we would be just as well off going it on our own.

I've read through the list of items that are required with the I-129F packet.. and now I have a few questions.

1. The lawyer I spoke to said I would need a copy of my fiance's birth certificate. I have this, but I do not see this listed as a requirement on any of the web pages I have reviewed. Do I need to submit this with the copy of my birth certificate?

2. Can the Beneficiary G-325a be a copy or must it have the original signature? Basically, I am wondering if he can email me the form, after signing it, and scanning it into his computer or would he need to mail me the original?

3. Same question for the letter he must write stating his intent to marry me. Can this be an emailed copy or should it have the original signature?

4. One one site I saw the I -134 Evidence of Support form was required with the petition. But I did not see it on the list of requirements on this site. I thought it was needed later, but not at the time of the original petition. Do I need to send this with the I-129F packet?

5. How much "evidence" of a relationship should you really send? I have 18 months worth of my phone bills, emails, MSN chat logs, Facebook messages, etc. Should I send ALL of it or just a sampling from every few months?

6. I can't find all my plane tickets from my 6 trips to Turkey, but I do have a passport stamp for each one. You can see the stamps well enough, but some of the dates are too light to read both the entry and the exit date. It's obvious there is an entry and exit stamp, but the dates are not all 100% readable. Will this be ok? I stayed with his family a few times, so don't have hotel receipts from all my trips and didn't think to keep most of them anyway.

I apologize for so many questions.. but I am worried about making a mistake!

Thanks in advance for anyone who takes the time to reply!!!!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresQuestion re: I-129F
I had the same questions about the Citizenship by Birth and certificate number.. nice to know I am not the only one who was confused by this. I thought I had to list my Birth Certificate number on there and I also had a copy made a few years ago and wasn't sure if I was supposed to put the original date or the date the copy was issued.. glad someone else had already asked these questions!!!

I do have one question.. everyone keeps saying to copy both sides of the birth certificate. Mine only has information on one side?!?! The original had something on both sides, but when I requested a replacement copy the one I have now in only one sided. It doesn't list all the stuff on the back, like the original, with time of birth , hospital name, etc.

Is this going to be a problem?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresDo things go faster when using an Immigration Lawyer?
Well, after much feedback from people on this site.. and a great deal of help ( thank you!).. we are going to save the money and do it ourselves!

Thank you to everyone who gave their input and sent me information and links to look at. I am very grateful to have found this site.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresDo things go faster when using an Immigration Lawyer?
Your reply was funny! Probably wasn't meant to be.. but it did make me laugh after I read through all the information and realize I probably did not need the lawyer. If I had thought of everything along those lines, to begin with, I probably would already have the packet in the mail.

Our biggest concerns were the two Visitor Visa denials.. and the fact that we have significant age difference between us ( I'm older).. Since the visa denials were because they thought he was too much of a risk to stay, I suppose they won't play into this as STAYING is the whole point of this application.. the age difference.. If all the lawyer is going to be able to do is fill out the forms for me then he won't make any difference if they use that as a reason to deny the visa.

I can't thank this site enough for all the information I've received! Our packet it almost complete.. and we only need to have him sign the forms and send them to me..

We are having one slight problem with the forms and wondering how other people handled this.. his address won't fit in the spaces allowed. We've tried to alter the address a little, to make it fit, but then it's not accurate. There seems to be no way to fit the correct address on them.. same thing happens with parents date of birth. It does not fit properly and half the year disappears from the form.

If there is a way to change the font on these, to make them smaller, we can't figure it out.

Did anyone else run into the problem with a really long international address not fitting in the spaces allowed.. or the problem with the dates of birth not fitting properly? How did you make it work?
Jenn and FuatFemaleTurkey2009-09-16 21:43:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresDo things go faster when using an Immigration Lawyer?
Hmmm... I've paid the consultation fee, and been given a list of documents I need to provide ( I have most already just from researching on the internet).. but after reading a few of these replies I am not so confident in the lawyer I talked to and if the Visitor Visa denials aren't going to play into this.... maybe it is better to do it on our own. Definitely cheaper!

I have some definite questions about documentation I would need to submit with the petition, but think that would belong in a different thread.

Thanks for the input !!
