So why they said pending ? Please... The consular can simply said about it right? I heard that the embassy fear that couple won't married within 90 days arrival to US. We are that willing to marry & even did traditional ceremony. And that leads to bad :( feeling sad... Will the embassy replied exactly my k1 visa is approved or not ?

After the interview... The consular simply said " ur case is pending .. We need to do some administrative processes. You don't need to do nothing . Wait till we contact you ".... I feel really sad ... I met my fiancée on January 2012..Our family know each other... He is 17yrs older than me.. We hav Photos on January 2012. Then he went back to US. We talked on viber & on November 2012, he proposed. I accepted . I want to be with him badly. And we knew that K1 visa took long . So I applied student visa ( silly me ) on 2013 February . I got rejected . Then my boyfriend decided to come to me & we got engaged with ceremony on May 2013. USCIS approved on September2013. We were so happy . He came bak to me again & we did traditional married ceremony . We loved each other very much. Then u went for interview on Jan6 2013. It got PENDING :( I was so sad . Dunno what to do. Please help !!!! How long I hav to wait ? The consular even mocked me like " why u wearing like that on engagement ? " I was wearing simple white dress. We are both doctors . Never married. Help !!!!! Plz

I have a cousin whos there in the States under K1 as well, 3 of the family members including her mom were denied. The two (one single and one married) mentioned staying with their sister and the mom reasoned out visiting her since she misses her so much. Even if they did not have plans of overstaying, they were still denied. The CO said to my aunt that 2 years of not seeing her is not a reason to give her a visa (what a jerk).

I suggest you let your two brothers apply prior to your interview, this way the reason can be just plain vacation. Better if you have relatives they can stay with just in case they ask. Cos if its a vacation and you have no relatives, they might ask for a hotel booking. Cos I doubt the possibility if they will tell CO that they will attend your wedding, unless (like what others say) they have strong ties in the Philippines.

You think I should call them? I was notified NOA2 via email, still haven't received the hard copy. Below is the notification I got:

Hi alizeyah, your fiance could either wait the letter from NVC or call their office. Calling is the fastest way to get your case number. Just ask him to make follow-up calls. Ryan called NVC almost everyday after our case was approved and his patience paid off biggrin.gif

I asked my fiance to call NVC, he called right away and the lady says "I have some good news for you."...hehehe...she says that Manila embassy received the petition last MON, 16 JUN 08 and gave our case number...WOOHOO!!! well that part i copied from my baby's e-mail smile.gif really really excited to set an appointment now for my interview!!!

your husband should have the letter from NVC about your case number. so i guess you have to wait for it. ask him to scan it for you and have you print it, so you can use it in Stlukes before you enter.

Thanks for relaying to us "girls" all the info everytime you have finished the prescreening, consul interview hehehe) and to our lawyer (Eric T. Dean) He's there every step of the way and even called ST. Luke and emailed the consulate when St. Luke almost "stopped" me from getting my clearance.
