K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresG-325A, Four Copies??
Thank you for the reply. I got worried. I just had my fiancee send out 3 copies signed and was waiting on them to submit and don't want to have to wait any longer. :) I made 3 copies of the entire I-129F packet.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresG-325A, Four Copies??
I was just reading in the FAQ about having to include 4 copies of the G-325A form with my I-129F. Is this correct?

Thanks,
Michael

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresI-134 Evidence questions...

Shouldn't be a problem...I am sure you have other evidence so getting more pictures may not do to much. The requirement is at least once in the last two years and you guys meet that, unless your consulate has some weird requirements. Many couples have gone much longer than you guys.

I am not as familiar with the affidavit of support, so I will leave that to others.

thanks!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresI-134 Evidence questions...
Unrelated question...I have not seen my fiancee for 4 months and we were hoping to save a trip to see each other from when she has her interview. Will this complicate things as we do not have photos of each other since the submission of the I-129F?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresI-134 Evidence questions...
Hi all, well I just got notified through e-mail that my fiancee and I just got approved!!! :) I am so thrilled yet I am back into research mode after a few months of relaxation and waiting.

I am starting to gather the evidence for the I-134 Affidavit of Support Form and had some concerning questions.

I did some research around the site and could not find the answers.

I read that once I receive the NOA2 I should start collecting this evidence. Does this mean that my pay stubs from before the NOA2 receive date are useless?

My concern is that just like my luck, my work has slowed down. I work in construction and work can be spoty at times. I have been working nonstop up until now. So now I collect unemployment until work comes my way. I am still employed with my company, I just receive work sporadically.

Also, should I include a copy of my last tax return paperwork? It at least states on there that I made plenty to support my fiancee.

Because my work is not constant all the time should I still have my boss put me down as full time? I am considered full time, I just might not always get those answers.

And one last question, do I put my annual income down from my last year's tax return as I do not know what this year will hold?

Thanks to all and hope to maybe see a few of you in Montreal when the interview time comes.
Michael

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWhen should I send I-129F packet to Fiancee?

Its best to provide the most recent information possible. Consider how long it takes to send documents to your sweety and leave yourself plenty of ample time for the documents to arrive before the interview. Typically you would have plenty of time to send the documents once you receive the interview appointment letter.

so she should be getting a letter telling when her interview is, then I should send the stuff to her?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWhen should I send I-129F packet to Fiancee?
Well we got our approval and I got the NOA2 in the mail. When should i send the I-134, financial papers(paystubs, bank statments...etc...), and the copy of the I-129F pack to my Fiancee? Should I keep sending paystubs to her up until the interview date? Is it imperative that she gets the most recent paystubs before her interview or can I just send them out now even if her interview may be a month away?

Thanks,
Michael

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresLetting a K1 expire...what happens next?
So I pretty much got my answer...there are no extensions and its better to cancel the visa then let it expire...now this is a different question. Since I am not only a US citizen but also a Canadian citizen. I have my Canadian passport but have not used it yet. When crossing customs and I use my Canadian passport, what do I tell the customs officer? Do I say I am going home even though I live in the US? I just want to minimize hassle and any chance of being denied. Should I say I'm visiting my fiancée as I have before with my US passport?

Thanks, you guys have always been great help.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresLetting a K1 expire...what happens next?

If she entered on K1 she has 90 days as everybody else, if she entered US as visitor then she has 180 days.
It depends on what she had told the CBP officer upon the entry.

If she declared she was on K1 and was going to get married then she becomed illegal on 91st day if you dont get married.

but the visa is attached in her passport?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresLetting a K1 expire...what happens next?
Thank you for the replies. Yeah, I was tallking about the subject coconut said. Is it better to cancel the visa, does that better your chances to apply again?

And what about me going to canada and marrying her. I am a dual citizen, canada and usa. If the K1 expires and I instead go to canada and marry her there, would filing for a visa to move her back to the usa be harder because of the visa expiring?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresLetting a K1 expire...what happens next?
I had a quick question. My fiancee and I got the K1 visa.
If she comes here from canada and in the three month period we do not get married, what happens next?
Does she have to go back instantly or is she able to stay for the six month period minus a day as if she was just visiting?
Can you get an extention on the K1 expire date before use? Or an extention onthe visa once crossed the border?
Has anyone had their K1 expire and then try to apply for another K1 with the same person? What are the issues with trying to apply for another K1 after having one expired, will it be harder?
I am also a Canadian citizen, if we let the K1 expire and I go up there and we get married...would they frown upon that if then we were married and I wanted to bring her to the usa?

Thanks!
