He went to the bank a while ago but they told him they wont sign since the I-134 is an oath, and that they dont accept oaths.. they said only judges signs oaths because an oath should be in front of a crowd. Regarding the needles, yes it's true.. it's so much painful to think about it than it actually is. I was like " Doc, you can start now" closing my eyes and shaking. She asked me to hold the cotton.. and i repeated what I said "ok i'm ready now" so she laughed and said that she was done 'before i was holding the cotton!?? ' I actually didn't feel anything.. well a bit but as what my fiance always say, facial (pricking) is 10x more painful than injections! weird but true! I'm still here in Manila, my flight's tomorrow at 2pm. My interview is august 9, I can't wait! See that guy over there? i'm gonna be with soon....... Don't stress over that part - it'll be over real quick and I bet they are used to people who are scared of needles (many peple have that fear). You can always tell them: 'Look, I'm scared of shots, so just ignore me if I dissolve into a complete mess..I DO want to have the ones I need' Other than that I'm sure you'll be fine and I'm sure you'll have a good result I like how you put it.. thanks for the encouraging words jaylen brit and karenL!!	djcess	Not Telling	Philippines	2006-07-17 08:35:00

I'm scared of the injections and vaccinations so i dont know how i'll get through it without humiliating myself and acting like a baby! (i'm sorry but i'm just a scardy cat and have low tolerance with pain... but anything to be with my dj ) I am glad that i've reached this part so i'll have 1 more thing to think about and that is the interview. Please wish me luck and I need your prayers that we wouldn't find anything serious/bad on my medical not just to pass the test, but also for my health's sake.. I think my wife, Katya, is the first girl I've been with since 8th grade that DID NOT have a tattoo. I hadn't thought of that until now! Anyways...Joel's random thoughts... Joel Since 8th grade?? My now hubby and I got tattoos matching 2 weeks after we first met, and before we were engaged. That kinda sealed the deal for me, that was back in May 2002. Nothing was ever said at my medical. Jodee Okay...that isn't fair. All of these people promoting their tatoos, but only a couple are showing them to the rest of us. Pull out the cameras people! Well, the doctor asked me if I had a tattoo on my eyebrows.. Stuttering, I said yes. But I had it a long time ago like I was still in high school. Cosmetic tattoo is different from others right? I asked her if that was a problem, she said no. But i'm still worried. Will it cause me a denial on my visa? As aggravating and mind boggling and difficult as this process is, try not to lose your common sense or ability to think logically! A visa is not going to be denied because the visa applicant has a tattoo! First off, if having a tattoo was reason for denial, it would be listed on the USCIS website as an ineligiblility. Second, again, common sense. Zillions of people have tattoos. It just doesn't hold any weight as a reason for denial. It does make sense to make a note of it as a distinguishing mark - and nothing more! RELAX and good luck. ehem... hehe! i can't believe i even cried over that matter. My fiance then called and told me that it's gonna be okay it's just a cosmetic tattoo.. I need to go to the states asap when i (hopefully) receive the visa since it has been 1 year and 8 months we're apart now. We've agreed before he left for the states that he puts all his time in his work and be stable so we could be with each other sooner. i can't have him visit me because his vacation leave is still very short. When you go through AOS don't you have to show more income verification? and 3 years tax returns? what are the standards then? I'm not 100% sure ... @ the start of all this ( before finding VJ ) we did in fact have the standards for AOS and I-129F confused If i'm not mistaken they do require 3 years tax returns for AOS but the exact income standards for those 3 years i have no idea ... My Fiancee has met the poverty guidelines for a family our size for many years .. so we decided not to worry about the details. Some consulates require you to show 3 years of tax returns even for the K1 .. (Vancouver canada requires 3 years worth from my Fiancee) But i'm under the impression it's just to get a better idea of his history what if we dont have that? do they send me back to my country?	djcess	Not Telling	Philippines	2006-08-04 12:13:00

His present job is his 2nd job, and he's doing good. He was promoted to manager in just 6 months and his boss always tell him how valuable he is for him and his company. Considering we dont have other assets? we have the employer's letter, bank letter, bank statements and w2. Any advice would be highly appreciated. I have had the advantage of meeting many Consular Officers during my lengthy US Government employment, overseas. I have learned some inside information, which I will share with you. Consular Officer's have a primary mission, among other things, validating Visa petitions. They are people, with subjective opinions, like anyone else. You know your SO, you know his/her life history and you know the detail of your meeting and continued relationship. That is the crux of the questions, period. Point of clarification: Everyone on this site says "Consulate". That is misleading information. Capital City = Embassy Other Major City= Consulate "Consular section" = The department within an Embassy or Consulate, that deals with Visa issues. Having been to over 60 countries myself, this is factual information, not speculation. Anyway, Best wishes for a quick reunion with your SO. Thanks! yes you are right. I shouldnt worry too much because i know my relationship with my fiance more than anyone else, and it is genuine. I guess it's more of the fear of the unknown i am feeling right now. At least you've pointed out to me and reminded me that, yes, they are just people no more no less It's nice that you've already been to over 60 countries, many (such as I am) dream to travel around the world but never had the opportunity...................... [attachment=1968:attachment] I appreciate the link.. very informative my fiance and i visited the embassy last june just to get an 129f app and for her too see what it looks like inside,its very busy and crowded, we observed both the happiness of approvals and the tears of denial right there in the corridor, but i tell you this as i tell nenita; be strong and believe in our love and devotion for each other,the person interviewing you is just doing there job,they know its important to you, they see many women each day for the same reason just stay focused and be prepared and you will do fine,say a little prayer and put a good luck piece in you pocket.best wishes and good luck to you both. And 10-15 mins interview with the officer cubicle.... well that happened to me in Phils. attended our interview for K1/K2 with my husband now. we went there 630am and went out 830am, it takes more time in falling inline to go inside from the guard till the waiting to show ur assigned number. you gonna be alright! cheer up! goodluck! A lump showed up behind my ear and side of my neck.. my doctor said I'll have to stop the stress or the lump will get bigger and we'll have to have it operated.. I'm taking antibiotics right now. I just can't help it..this feels like judgement day and I know that I can't mess this up. I'm waiting for this day for sooo long I got to pass this.
