K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresHelp With Packet 3 checklist Please

Hi I was wondering what does my fiancee need for Evidence of petitioner?s domicile in the United States. I currently live at my mothers house with my younger brothers. I'm currently unemployed and I am a US citizen. I searched online and some people said a copy of a lease or rent document. I don't have a bank account. I was thinking maybe a copy of my State ID since it shows the address i live in. Would that count?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresI-134 Help please

What is your fiancee's relationship to you?  She is your FIANCEE, so you write FIANCEE on your I-134 form.  What is your fiancee's relationship to your mother?  She is her FUTURE DAUGHTER IN LAW.

Question 8 is asking about any dependents you have, or people you are supporting.  If you have any kids, they are listed here.  If you claim any dependents on your taxes, they are listed here.  The same applies to when your mother fills out her I-134.

Question 10 is asking if you submitted a visa petition.  YES you have, you submitted Form I-129F.  So you will write your fiancee's name, her relationship to you (FIANCEE), and the date of your NOA1.

Thank you so much! I am assuming that for line 10 my mother leaves it blank? Also, for supporting documents, would a copy of my mothers recent tax return, and recent pay stubs for 3 months be enough?

You fill out the form when your fiance is going to the interview, you send him or her the form.
He or she present it at the interview

Yes but what does my mother put for Relationship to Sponsor on the form? Its on line 3. And for lines 8 and 10, what do we both put on the forms? I know we have to fill them out separately so I just want to know what do I have to put and what does she have to put for those lines.

HI I wanted to know if for Form I-134 I will need any extra documents or statements because I am currently unemployed and I have never worked before. I was planning on using my mother as co-sponsor but I just wanted to make sure if I needed anything else. Also, when my mother fills out the form, what do we put for Relationship to Sponsor? Lastly, what would my mother and I have to put on lines 8 and 10 when we both fill out the form?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresG-325A Question

Hi All:

My fiance is from the UK and he's filling out his G-325A (Biographic Information form) for our I-129F. We had a couple questions.

1. He already listed his last addresses within the last five years, but we were confused about "last known address outside the US for more than 1 year." He just moved a few months ago to his most recent address. Does he fill out this line with the address prior, where he lived for more than one year? Or does he leave it blank?

2. Whenever it says "file A" or "Alien registration number if known"--he doesn't have one, so do we write "None"? In fact, except in the places they ask us to say "none," should we write anything ("none" or "N/A") or keep it blank? (example: "Previous marriages. If none, state so." then all the boxes that follow .....)

3. Does the approval of the K-1 visa depend upon, for instance, the fact that he moved and worked several different jobs (a total of 5 moves and 5 jobs....)? Or does it simply matter that we meet all of the requirements for the K-1 visa (age, single status (we've never been married), no criminal records, met several times in the last year, I meet over poverty guidelines, etc)?

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am freaking out about getting these forms perfect.....

Hey!

1. Okay so for last known address outside the US for more than 1 year, he can fills it out with the address prior. Don't leave it blank.

2. For A-number, you fiance wont receive it until weeks after you send out your petition. So for that he can put "None". Thats what my fiancee put.

3. The approval is based on whether both of you met all of the requirements for the k-1 visa. It wont matter if hes had several jobs as long as both of you met the requirements and show that your relationship is geniune.

Good luck on filling the rest out!!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresForm I-864 Help please

So my fiancee recently got denied the visa and was told she had to mail in my 2013 taxes and I-864 for Joint sponsor. I had my mother co-sponsor since I am unemployed. We provided 2 I-134 with supporting documents but that wasnt enough. I was told that my mother needs to fill out form I-864 but its a bit confusing so I wanted to know if I can get help filling it out. Also, do I need to fill out form I-864 too or only my mother? Is form I-864a required. When she got denied, she was given a letter saying

To complete your application, you will need to submit original copies of the following document(s) through our courier:

2013 taxes for petitioner

I-864 for Joint Sponsor

I already got a verification letter for non filing from the IRS. I just want to know if only my mother needs to fill out form I-864 or do I have to also? And if form I-864a is required as well. I'm not sure what to check for part 1 and also, for part 2 do I put my fiancee's info? What do we check for part 3, yes or no? For part 4, is it my info or my mothers? Please and Thanks!

No. Only a qualifying household member can combine their income with someone filling out an I-864 by filling out an accompanying I-864A.

Okay thanks!

Yes, sounds like they just want to provide a joint sponsor that meets the requirement for their own household size plus the intending immigrant.

Would I be able to combine my mothers income and my friends income? If I can, what forms do they fill out?

Yes, it can be any USC or LPR that resides anywhere in the US.

Okay thanks! So pretty much they just fill out I 864 with supporting documents and thats it? I don't need to fill out anything myself?

I am sure they meant that the joint sponsor did not meet the requirement and they are asking for a new joint sponsor from you that does.

Can the joint sponsor be a close friend? I was going to ask one of my best friends.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresK1 Visa Help

Hey guys. So last month my fiancee had her interview and she got denied and was told to provide 2 documents in order to continue. First one was a letter from IRS stating I didn't file for taxes, and form I 864 for joint sponsor. I used my mother as joint sponsor and we provided the forms they asked for. So today, she receives a letter from the Consulate saying

Thank you for your communication regarding the below-referenced immigrant visa case. In order to continue processing the case, please send to the U.S. Consulate General in Montreal the following items: your joint sponsor does meet the poverty guideline, your case requires another joint sponsor. Please have the I 864 and 2012 or 2013 completed and sent to our office for review.

I wanted to know what do you guys suggest we do? Like this makes no sense. It clearly says joint sponsor meets the poverty guideline -__- .. Thanks!

No it took a little less then a month, and the letter with the interview date takes like a week to get to your house. It should go pretty quickly if you arent missing any documents.

CaribbeanWhen to pay visa fee

I know all NVC fees are paid using funds from a US bank account. I dnt know if there are other alternatives for K-1 applicants.

Mmmm, I don't mind paying it with my US Bank, but there is no posting from the NVC where you can pay your fees only the amount. I gues I will have to wait till they send me paperwork! I don't mind paying it at the cosulate either, I have to pay extra $80.00 at the day of the interview anyways..

Congrats on your approval.

You may want to check and confirm that you visa indeed has been issued, checkout this like and follow the directions.

Good Luck

PS

Domex tipically takes anywhere from 3-4 day up to 7-10 depending if you asked for picked or delivery.

Thank you, I checked the website and it has being issued, but it says if we haven't received anything yet to contact the Consulate in Santo Domingo after 10 days, so my fiancée is going to call later today after the pin start working to check what is going on, Thanks for your help :D

Go here and this should tell you what is going on with your visa http://www.domex.do/. Good luck! If I am wrong someone will correct me but hopefully the domex sight will give you some insight. Take care smile.png

CaribbeanStill waiting for Visa/Passport

My fiancée got approved on may 16th and have not received her passport yet, we try contacting Domex (Delivery Service) and they say they are changing their network to fiber optics, no phone calls, no updates to check our status online, we are clueless, how long does it usually takes, Domex says they have not received anything from the Consulate yet, what could be happening, I called the Visa Center number which is in Mexico not in Santo Domingo and they say all we can do is wait... Any ideas why it is taking so long?
