Biometric done!

We got to the office like 2 hours early, I told the lady that we are coming from Reading and it's like 2 hours and 20 minutes from Philly. She just handed the paper and told me to fill it out and then give it to the other lady. There was 13 people in front of him, it only took us 1 hour and at 1:00 pm we left and got enough time to catch the next bus leaving at 1:55.

It was really nice!..

Hi,
I got my blue letter, I got my NOA (June 1st it arrived) but I have not received anything about biometrics appointment. Is this normal or do you think I should call and ask them?

Thanks.

This is just a WILD guess...but i'm thinking maybe it has something to do with the newark office because we recieved our NOA 1 on monday and still no word. Yet Gringa, who is following the EXACT same time line as me but lives in Philidelphia has already gotten her biometrics letter. Perhaps the newark office takes longer to schedule appointments. I don't know. Keep me posted if you hear anything, I'll do the same!

Hi Kelly!

Here is the link of my blue receipt http://www.visajourn...y...&fullsize=1 this is how it looks

Any body else recieve the NOA 1 extenstion letter before the blue reciept?

Any body NOT recieve the blue reciept at all?

Can some one please tell me what the blue receipt looks like? I have the letter that says:

"received $275 for form I 751 and Biometrics: Your conditinal resident status is extended for a period of one year from the date....blah blah blah"

is this NOA 1 or blue reciept?

any feedback would be great! thanks guys.

kellynricky, that is NOA1.

As far as I know NOA1 is the most important paper right now, cause that is the one that will give you the 12 months extension. I would not stress myself for the blue receipt, anyways I think the NOA1 shows on the top the fee that you pay. I don't have the blue receipt right now, but I think that it only shows that they collected the $275.00 from you for the I-751 and biometrics.

Did you get your biometric appoinment yet? You should be getting it, cause you and I always get paper work at the same time.

If I get anytime off today, I will scan mime and upload it to VJ so others could see how it looks like. I was looking around and didn't see it in VJ. Hope that will help others.

i never recieved a blue reciept, but i don't think that's so important really. As long as this letter is here i think that's all we should worry about! I heard sometimes you recieve the blue reciept after the NOA. I'll keep you posted about fingerprinting!

Hello everyone,

We sent off our I-751 to Vermont April 27, it was recieved April 29. check has not yet been cashed. waiting it awful especially since we have to travel out of the country on July 18. From these timelines it looks like we'll be lucky to have our check cashed by the 30 day mark. All i know is as soon as that 30 day mark hits, if i haven't heard anything I'm calling.

I think there should be special therapists that deal with people who have to go through immigration procedures.

let's hope vermont speeds up soon!

Well I see that you and me are going to share our timeline. I sent my on April 27 and was received on the 30. I have not get any respond at all.

Does any one know how long it takes to get the first NOA? I just want to be sure that our application is in Vermont. Thanks in advance.

Good luck to all of us!

Hi All!

Vermont received my I-751 on April 30 at 9:48 pm and I recived my confirmation today May 3,2007.

Let's the game begin!... :D

I assume what you received was the USPS confirmation of delivery, not the NOA, right?

We mailed our I-751 on April 3, UPSP confirmed delivery on April 6. Since then, nothing, like for the other posters here.

Best,
Christian

You are right!...

Sorry to hear that Hempelma, right now I'm just calm, cause by reading all other posters about not getting anything yet I will assumed that it will happened to me too.

I think that Vermont is working a little bit slow. I also filed mime on 4/27, but it's too early to know plus I sent a money order instead of a check. Will keep you all post.

By reading some timelines and some post and kind of scare on how long my husband's I-751 will be approved.

Good luck to all.

Removing Conditions on Residency General DiscussionEvidence for I-751

Alright, I still have about a month left before I can file, but I am getting things ready. Tell me if you think my evidence is sufficient or if I am lacking in certain areas:

- Copy of our son's birth certificate
- Last 3 years tax return (married filling jointly)
- Copies of last 2 leases in both our names
- Copy of joint car insurance
- Copy of DH's life insurance policy showing me as the beneficiary
- Copy of my life insurance policy showing DH as beneficiary
- Copy of my military dependant ID
- Copy of Power of Attorney I have over DH's affairs
- Copy of cable bill in my name, copy of power bill in DH's name, both showing same address.

We don't have a joint account because when DH moved back to OK from NC, he close his account with Bank of America, but they still let charges go through from AOL(which had also been cancelled) for 2 months, as a result, he owes the bank money and they refuse to admit it was their mistake. So anyways until that is cleared up, he can't have his name on another bank account. Do you think everything else is sufficient even without bank statements?

Thanks for your help.

Hi!

I mailed almost the same things as you including our join checking accounts and paystub showing direct deposit info, but didn't sent pictures. If they need more evidence I will be williing to send it. Didn't want to send pictures cause they are part of me and dont' want to loose them. Especialy the ones where my little one was born.

Good luck you will be fine

When I did my husband Vermont was pretty fast, but now that I applied for his I-751 is like paying them back, I sent his lifting on 4/27 and last touch was in June and since them nothing else. Oh also forgot to stated that his I-485 took more longer than I could expected, it was transfer to CSC on 2004 and by seeing my timeline you all could see how long we waited to get it aproved.

I think this is just luck.

Well let see who is next, cause I think none Vermont I-751 will be transfer, instead will waited between 6 to 7 months to ge approved and I'm assuming this just by seeing all Vermonts approved, and most of them are almos 6 to 7 months.

Thank you for the postiong Grinda

I went ahead and did a walk in on 10/23/2007. The original date for fp was 11/02/2007

I noticed that some of you posted "touched". Could you please tell me how do you determine that?

Edisheri, a touch is when your case online has the date change. For example if you go online to see how your case is going you will see the date next to the application that you submit. If the date changes is that they touch it, they could touch it everyday during the week. When they touch it, it means they are working on your case.

Well still not touch at all!

Plus, my two stepdaughters were supposted to received their green card since July and still haven't get them, I called and requested info and was told that they still reviewing the cases.

I think that they are holding them until my husband I-751 gest approved. It's kind of stupid becuase they also told me on their welcome letter's that both of them will received a two years green card instead of a 10 years. I was told that if the marriage was over 2 years they will get their 10 years one. So, my toughts are they are holding them and when he gets approved they might received their 10 years one, not their 2 years.

have any of you hear of something like this?
