K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresK1 London Interview
If you look in my signature, we have our interview and POE (LAX) reviews. Interview was in March and POE was in June, so both are fairly current.

You can take a book with you and a hotel key - no problem. I'm honestly not sure about beverages, but I can't imagine water being denied? (well, you can never tell!)

My fiance received his passport back in 3 days, but I see some people lately having it take just over a full week or so.

POE for my fiance at LAX was 20 minutes. This is rare and was amazing! (20 minutes from getting off the plane, going through the immigration officers getting bags and customs. VERY EFFICIENT!)

Hi, my interview is in London on the 13th July and I am now really nervous. I have looked over the link they sent me and I just wanted to make sure I hvae everything and if someone who has been for the interview had posted a checklist of everything to have. Also my interview is at 9am, what time should I get there? I assume I will have to queue to get in and through security so should I get there at about 8? is that early enough or too early? Also i know I can't take in electrical items and key fobs. I just wanted to check am I okay with a purse with cards and a hotel key card? Also could I take a book and maybe a small drink? How long are you usually there? My fiance is back in the US now so sadly he can't go with me.

Another question is how long does it usually take to get your passport back from them, is there anyway to pay extra to get it back quicker? Also can this fee be paid by card or does it have to be cash?

Lastly I think I noticed someone said clearing immigration at the POE it took around 4 hours. Does it usually take so long? and which is generallyt eh best POE. I usually fly into O'hare but I could possibly do somewhere else. Oh and while you are waiting for your information to be processed what happens to your suitcases. I get so paranoid about my cases I would hate for them to be sitting there alone for so long. I know no one will take it but I alway have that fear.

Thank you for any help and answers, I really appreciate them.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduresfileing the I- 129f
My fiance was here at the time we filled out the forms, on the VWP, as well... we dated the forms about a week in advance and posted them after he left. Not sure if that's the 'right' way to do it.

You could always tick the 'yes' box and say 'Entered on VWP'; I've seen a few threads where that advice was given.

But it says only to fill that section if the fiance is in the country whilst filing and sending? I won't be here when he sends it off.

Also I don't have an I-94 number? I came on the VWP and only have my ESTA application number and the stamps of arrival and departure dates. I'm really confused sorry :(

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWork/finance concerns in the US
Certificate of approval to marry in the UK was abolished on 9th May... http://www.ukba.home...bolition-of-coa

Generally true but with the OP being from the UK, marrying a foreigner in the UK is problematic. A special visa is needed, even if the foreigner has no intention of living in the UK.

To the OP,

If your requirement is to have a job in the USA prior to marriage, that will be difficult but you already know that. Fortunately, there are practical aspects to deal with when planning to marry a foreigner that don't come into play when marrying a citizen of your own country.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduresquestion 7 on 1-134
Perfect - you should be in good shape! All the best.

Thanks for the responses. I just wanted to make sure we could leave the other spots (besides annual income) on 7 blank. Looks like we can! We both (co-sponsor and I) already have our tax transcripts, pay-stubs and employee letters so we are good on that front. I just get worried leaving anything blank.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Proceduresquestion 7 on 1-134
Correct - so long as income is sufficient, no need to write in other assets. Do make sure you have supporting documentation for your income (e.g. tax transcripts and letter from current employer/or recent paystubs)

For question 7, I was wondering if it is ok to just show the annual income and nothing more; so long as it is sufficient? I'm wondering in the case of my cosponsor... she makes more than enough on income alone, and I don't want us to hassle with anymore paperwork than necessary. Would just appreciate some input :)

Perhaps that was just your experience? Ours came within the timeframe specified.

If you have the time - and you're not in a rush - no need to pay for the rush service.

You don't have a timeline up, but they take longer than posted by the UK to come. It's worth it to get it in hand, by paying for quicker delivery.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresHelp!! Regarding I-134
Looks good!

I was wondering what else do I need to send to my fiancé regarding the I-134 - affidavit of support?

1. Form I-134 (filled out by me)
2. Copies of income tax document
- W2's (2008, 2009, 2010)
- 1040's or tax return transcripts (2008, 2009, 2010)
3. Employment letter
4. Pay stub (about 4 recent)
5. Bank letter
6. Bank statements (last 6 months)
7. Letter to the consulate stating that I will be able to financially support my fiancé.

Anything else I'm missing?

* Kristin *FemaleUnited Kingdom2011-07-11 14:23:00
K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresAffidavit of Support?!....
Correct!

I have done a lot of researching on that topic because me and my fiance are in a similar situation. This is what I've read, and what we have decided to do: First of all, you, as the US citizen petitioner MUST fill out the I-134 affidavit of support with all supporting documents because of the sole fact that you are the petitioner for the visa. Now, if you are don't meet the $ guidelines, or are unsure that you do, some embassies (you should talk to someone who knows specifically about Colombia) allow a co-sponsor, which means, another US citizen (maybe your mom or whoever) fills out a separate I-134 affidavit of support with all her info and supporting documents. Both of the affidavits (yours and your co-sponsor's) are presented for the interview at the embassy. Hope that helps!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresFinancial Support
Make sure the letter from your employer states your salary.

Include several months of pay stubs to show consistency :)

If you're using your tax return, include the W2 and 1040. Alternatively, request a free tax transcript - that has all and any information they could want to know.

Cheers!

Hello :)
just want to ask if letter from the employer, tax return and pay slip are enough for the proof of financial support?

God Bless!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresPacket 3
Correct - it's not quite a 'packet' anymore since it is all available online.

Visit: http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html

It will tell you exactly what you need to send in, being:
DS-230 Part I (We mailed a blank Part II. I read on here of someone who got an RFE for not sending Part II even though it's not required.)
DS-156
DS-157
DS-156K
DS 2001 - when you have all your documentation in order and are ready to schedule an interview. This can be sent in later, if need be.

With the photographs, birth certificate, etc. (all the evidence that's listed on the DS-156K - bring it to your interview. London has a 'document check' station during your interview where they will go over all this. Bring originals so they can see them but bring copies so they can keep and add to your file)

Hey guys...

So as we know this Visa process can be rather confusing and lets face it, at times makes zero sense and contradicts itself! Therefore need a little advice and help from those who have already dealt with what I'm assuming is "Packet 3"

It wasn't quite a "packet" I recieved, more like a letter stating the paperwork I need to fill out and send back to the Consulate before arranging my medical or my interview - I'm assuming this is pack three...

So what do I need to send exactly?

Is it just part 1 of the DS-230 or do I need to send both parts 1 and 2?

Do I need to attach a photograph to either both or one of the DS156's before I send them off?

Do I need to send copies of my birth certificate, passport etc to them with this packet? If so, are copies acceptable and what exactly do I need to send?

My consulate is in London - best get that bit in since everyone has their own rules it seems!

I thank you in advance!

Onyx

Thanks! :-)

In London for the interview - before you actually have the 'interview' they have a document check station where they will ensure you have everything to hand... !

But you guys looks happily married (soon to be!) so i trust you ;) Cheers

Dannynsami -

Correct - in the UK you TAKE the documents with you to the interview :)

The only thing you will send in are the forms themselves!

K.

I was also curious about this . .

So I send the DS-156k with the DS-156, DS-157 and DS-230 part 1 to the US Embassy in London.
AND I send all the ORGINAL DOCUMENTS aswell including my Birth Certificate and Police Certificate etc etc.

I thought I TOOK them to the Interview rather than SEND them. I do not like the idea of so much data in one package at the same time . .

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresDS-156K
Do note that the embassy you will be dealing with sometime determines that... for example, in the UK, you don't send the documents - you only bring them to the interview. Might be helpful to fill in some of your profile details so you can obtain accurate information :)

Hello, I have a question on this form DS-156K that you have to send in to the embassy for the K1-VISA and I hope that someone can help me out with it. My question is that in the middle of the form(DS-156K form) it says ""The Following Documents Must Be Attached In Order To Apply For A Fiancee Nonimmigrant Visa"" The Contents are " Birth Certificate, Divorcee Decree, Evidence of Engagement to your Fiancee, Evidence of Financial Support, and Police Certificates" So does that mean you have to send these documents in with the form (ds-156K) or when do you send them in ????? THanks for any information anyone has..:)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresLetter from Bank - is it needed???
cmoore25 - No need to send the bank letter; your income is more than sufficient based on the poverty guidelines.

Just ensure you have your pay stubs or letter from the school you teach at/employer to confirm your salary

San diego - well, I make no where close to the amount you do!! Lol Do you still think it's safe not to include the bank letter? I currently make $37k (teacher's salary, geesh!). Thanks for your fast reply - I had just seen many post about including the bank letter, so I wasn't sure...

Also, we are not actually engaged! Should I put this in the letter? Or just leave it out! We have been together since 2008, just not engaged yet!

Correct - everything goes to the Lockbox. Just use that address.

(Things used to get sent directly to a service centre, but that's not the case anymore.)

All the best!

Hey!

A quick question.

When writing the cover letter for the I-129F, I have to put in the "address of your service center". Where is that? I thought everything had to go to the "Dallas Lockbox"?!

Confusion!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresMilitary background - will it take longer??
At the time of filing and throughout our whole K1 process, my finace was a part of the British Army (Lifeguards).

Honestly - nothing seemed to take any longer for us than it did for anyone else when we were filing! (in fact, I'm quite pleased with how everything worked - timeline below)

The only thing that was 'different', I suppose, was that my other half needed to show some paperwork at his interview providing his discharge date (1st April 2011) 'cos he was still 'active' at the time.

So, just a question. I'm still waiting for our NOA2 (month 4)...but a friend who is going through the process and is 5+ months contacted her congressperson as to the hold up at VSC. The congresspesron gave some good information - but also said that if you have a military background this could slow down the process as more checks are needed. Is this true?? Aren't background checks done on military servicemen & woman while they are in the service? Why additional checks?

I'm just wondering because my fiance was in the Royal Marines - does this mean our approval could be delayed due to additional background checks needing to be run??

Oooooo this process is testing my patience!!! ;)

You'll find that most people on this site have done the process themselves... VisaJourney is a great resource. Everything can be done yourself, if you don't mind a bit of reading.

Hello,
I'm interested in getting a K1 visa for my fiance, and was wondering what experiences people have had with document prep services like easy fiance visa. Are they worth the money? I've heard some of the forms can be difficult to figure out, and would love to have someone do it for me.

Thanks in advance for the answers.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresK1 Visa - London
As the previous poster mentioned, police certificates do have a 12-month validity.

Regarding accomodation options, it's not 'right around the corner' close to the Embassy, but there's a decent little hotel called The Montana Hotel on Gloucester Road, which isn't too far away. You can hop on a bus or the tube to get to the Embassy. Rooms are around 55 - 75 quid a night.

(The hotel is just next door to where we used to live, and we stayed there right before leaving London)

You will also need to get the medical done in London. There have been cases of people being allowed to have it done on the same trip, ie just before their interview, but this is by no means something to assume will be allowed. So be prepared for the possibility of two trips.

The Tube is easy to use. You'll be grand :-) If you manage to find accommodation close enough you may even be able to walk!

I don't know anything personally about accommodation options, but there are definitely cheaper options. Upmarket hostels, and the like. if you're going to be staying overnight and using the Tube then your radius of options is pretty big.

I think they accept the police certificate for up to 12 months. I'd say...wait for 3 months from when you applied and then apply for the police certificate. (Or, if you get approved sooner somehow, then apply that day. You won't receive your case number immediately upon approval, so you won't actually delay anything if you apply for the police certificate immediately upon approval.)

All the London area airports are options. Most of the airline/flight sites let you check for flights into all London airports, so you don't need to know before you look. Obviously some are more convenient than others. But Gatwick and Luton have rail links to London just like Heathrow. (Journey times vary, and depends on where your final destination in London is. The expensive Heathrow train is quicker than Gatwick which is quicker than the cheaper Heathrow train.) (Stansted has rail links too, maybe a little further and more expensive though.)

Just plan your Tube route before you go, and it'll be a breeze.

Oh, and congratulations!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresPacket 3 Help needed
The packet 3 link for London is very helpful. See the London US Embassy web site here: http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html
You will need the DS-230 Part I, DS-156, DS-156K and DS-157. Once all your duckies are in a row, you need the DS-2001 (meaning, you have all the documentation you need for the interview and you are ready).

Your fiance will need to complete the I-134 and provide supporting documentation (e.g. recent pay stubs/letter from employer and tax transcripts).

With regard to filling out the DS-156, see the example forms. They're great! http://www.visajourn...ontent/examples

WIth regard to employment and schooling - fill out all the schooling you have done. For employment, if I remember correctly, you cannot list any gaps in employment - so perhaps state 'Unemployed' if you didn't hold a job during any of that time? Just a suggestion?!

(A side note, my finance didn't have formal schooling beyond the time when he took his GCSEs. He didn't write his NVQs or anything on there, as they were earned on the job)

I am currently sat filling in packet 3, I have partially filled forms DS-230 part 1 and 2. Do I also have to fill out DS-157, 156 AND 156K?
I am the beneficiary, is anything in this packet pertaining to my fiance himself?

It also states that I need to fill my employment and education from the last 10 years, my work career has been sporadic and my education I only passed my end of school GCSE's.I went to college but didn't get any qualifications in anything of note really, I dropped out of courses and the only certifications I have are for smaller courses in Administration and such.
I don't have anything of substance to put here and I have no clue as to dates, how can I fill this in? I'd rather not look like the dropout-bumm that I used to be (and what some of you may be thinking now as you read this). My previous history isn't the person I am now. Is this going to be an issue?

Also one of the questions on form DS-156, question 32 asks if I intend on working in the U.S. Of course I do have all intentions of getting a job, but this question then asks me to detail an address of an employer. How can you fill this? If you say yes but don't have employment it appears wrong, but if you answer no because you have nothing lined up you appear liable to become public charge.
On top of all that the following question (33) asks if I am going to study in the U.S and again asks for details of an educational establishment. How do I fill that too? Yes I will be getting a job and yes I will be heading straight into studying for a GED. But I don't have a job nor a place of study lined up yet.
With all the work going into the Visa and also what will pretty much be a rushed wedding afterwards, I haven't even looked into employment. PLUS who will employ anyone with the background I have without at least a basic education or GED?

This is like running circles while juggling.

Any help is very much welcome :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresI-134 F and DS-156
True - every consolate works differently! Someone from Bolicia can probably give you more specific advice to their experiences; however, it's good that you have 2010 W2/1040s and employment letter. It wouldn't hurt to be over-prepared.. I think that's what a lot of it is. People want to provide a 'mountain' of things so that there's near enough no possibility that anything will go wrong.

I won't advise what to do, as I can't say I know Bolivia ;-)

All the best though!

Hello VJ! (F)

I have a question about the documents that I need to submit with the I-134 Affidavit of Support. I emailed the Consulate (Bolivia) and they told me that the documents for financial support are:

* Form I-134, Affidavit of Support plus W2 and 1040 of last year
* They don't require pay stubs (and in rare cases they ask for employment letter)

I have read a lot in VJ that we need the last 3 tax transcripts, but they ask only for the last. I'm already have JUST a copy of 1040 and W2 of 2010 and anyways I have an employment letter.

Also, they require to print and complete two copies of DS-156 form. Is not an electronically form? They issued only Packet 4 and we need to send all the required documents at least 15 - 10 days before interview date. We don't have our NVC case number yet, but the Consulate told me: "Once we send the Packet 4, the process is approximately 3 to 4 weeks. So, we are gathering the documents to gain time, practically they listed every document that contains Packet 4.

I know that each Consulate works differently but I would like to take in consideration your advices. :star:

Thanks,

Alex & Mari

London won't ask for proof of engagement; it's doubtful they'll ask for proof of relationship - but I suppose it's better to bring stuff along to be on the safe side!

i haven't been on here a while but now i'm back - and with a question. So everything got approved on the American side and i'm working my way through the forms la la but I have a question regarding the evidence you need for "proof of engagement". How actually have people proved they are engaged rather then merely in a relationship? Or is it all the same photographs, copies of travelling, emails etc

all hints and advice would be much appreciated!

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresMail Delayed!!?! Readiness be done over the phone????
Since packet 3 was delivered, they probably have been received - they just haven't been attached to your case yet. The embassy probably receives hundred/thousands of documents and can't process them straight away (as much as we wish they could). So yes - this is normal (just to re-assure.)

With regard to the DS-2001, unfortunately, I don't think a phone call will help. I believe they'll want the 'actual' paper. Royal Mail is slow - but that seems VERY slow. (You don't live in an area where there are often mail problems, do you? Like in a remote village or something, where it might take a bit longe?) Personally - if I were you - I would give it a few more days and then post another one off. But do note - this is just what I would do... not sure if it's 100% correct.... I can't imagine how frustrating that must be!!

I am applying for a K-1 visa for the USA, im from UK

I sent off my DS forms for my K-1 visa special delivery on the 21/07/2011, the post office have said that that was delivered but the embassy has no reocrd of this. The lady i spoke to on the phone at the embassy said this was normal. But i sent my DS-2001 a day later 1st class recorded but Royal Mail said it hasnt been delivered yet by their tracking.

I was wondering if, when i call the embassy to confirm if they have recived my applications, would it be worth telling them that i have sent the DS-2001 for already and to tell them that i am interview ready??

I know the DS-2001 form is a checklist so im wondering how important it really is, and if they cant just make a note for me on the computer or something to say that i am ready. I can send the DS-2001 form again, i just dont want it delayed anymore than it has to be by dumb postal people who mislay everything. Especially when the lady at the embassy said it can take up to 4 weeks for something to reach them.

I have my medical tomorrow so i have everything i need for my interview.....This kind of thing just really bugs me

We sent it fine from the UK. As long as it gets there.. that's what matters :)

All the best.

I mean let her mail it after you put together the package.

It's just my paranoid opinion though. I personally would want it sent from within the US. It probably doesn't make a difference because it's clear enough in the form that she is making the petition for you the beneficiary.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresQuestion on Moving back after marriage
Couldn't you have come to the US on a tourist visa, married, and returned back home?

That was an option I was considering. Guys, thank you all for your replies. This will definitely help when I make my decision of whether to move or apply again from a spousal point of view. It's just that I have been hearing a lot about the jobs situation out there and related. Now, I do realize that if its meant to be it will happen.

The reason that I have to do the K1 visa is because my to be Mrs :), according to recent UAE law, is not able to come down to Dubai and get married (Both husband and wife need to have residential visa in UAE). If we decide to go the other route, we would probably have to get married in a third country or something :(.

I would not even in mind applying anew again as the financial and mental drag of the process is not an issue as long as she is here with me. Damn it decisions :).

But thank you all for your replies.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresQuestion on Moving back after marriage
No, you will not be able to leave until you have your Advanced Parole travel document. Leaving before you get that will mean you will need to start over and apply for a spousal visa, so don't go that route.

Do you plan to stay in Dubai or stay in the US? It sounds like you want to go back to Dubai. If that's the case, how come you are doing the K1 at all?

Hi VJ members,

Was wondering if you could help me out on this one. Well, my interview is scheduled for K1 Visa is scheduled on the 2nd of Oct. If all goes well, I expect to fly to US sometime around December. Now my question was, is it possible for us to get married while I am there within 10 days and then come back to Dubai for work?

The reason I ask this because I have heard that to apply for AOS it takes 30 - 90 days, etc etc. I was wondering if that process could be completed while I come back in Dubai. Currently have an awesome job here and local laws stipulate that she (fiance US citizen) cannot come down here and get married due to not having a Dubai residential visa.

What do you guys think? Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

S

If his income is sufficient to the 'poverty guidlines', no bank statement needed. Bring a letter from his employer and/or a few months of recent paystubs. (How much 'evidence' you need is dependent upon your embassy..)

Bank statement would be required if he's using assets to account for the income shortfall.

Tnx a lot!! Does he need a bank statement too tho?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresPls help! need co-sponsor? or not?
Get a co-sponsor.... it's always at the discretion of the person interviewing your other half of whether it's acceptable. You don't want to be in that situation...

ok... i posted same topic but there was online one reply... we need your responses thank you so much!

here goes...
14,000 - fiance's income (doesn't meet 125% level)(no property assets, small amount in bank)
4,800 - fiance claimed this amount in his tax return from roommate's rent
18,800 - income.. so does this mean he met the required poverty level? is the 4,800 counted as income already? or do we still need co-sponsor?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedureswhat forms to fill out
Your fiance won't require bank statements. Bank statements are used if you are using assets to make up the shortfall of your income with assets.

Generally what is needed (note that this is not specific to the Philippines):
* Letter from your employer stating your salary and how long you've been employed and full time? part time? hours per week?
* Recent pay stubs
* 1040 and W2s OR Tax Transcripts (they're free! Order them)

so what my fiance needs from me is NOA1, NOA2, I134, Employment letter, income tax, W2. Pay stubs, Bank statements... am i missing anything?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresMedical in London
He'll need to fill out the form that's at the bottom of the PDF document on the right link here: http://london.usemba...xamination.html

Also a copy of all jabs from his GP.

My fiance will be going to London next Thursday for his medical. Is there anything in particular that we need to know or be aware of? I'm also wondering exactly what forms or documentation he needs to take with him.

Thank you!!! :)

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresIs there such thing as "too much"?
My fiance's folder of evidence, etc. weighed as much as our cat.

Yes, it was overboard but boy, we were super prepared.

Regardless of what you bring and how much, make sure you can easily find everything you are looking for :)

Hi VJ'ers....

My interview in MNL is on the 22nd of this month... and I'm doing the final touches on my documents..

is there such a thing as "too much supporting evidence..."?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresInterview in London
I wouldn't call in 'in depth'. I know for my other half, they asked for it, glanced at it, and stuck it in his file.

As Nich-Nick mentioned, London isn't super strict and all...

Thanks for clarification.
I did read the reviews here and think I have a fairly good idea of what to expect (famous last words!). I did however think that there was in depth discussion and reviewing of all i-134 documentation. I assumed this happened between the first interview window and the second, actual interview?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresEarnings and paystubs
Current income is what matters.

So use that current statement - and I'm not sure if it would help - but get a letter from his employer stating that he works there, salary, etc. so you can see that it's current.

We provided tax transcripts too, even though my previous income didn't count for anything. Better to have too much than not enough. Tax transcripts are free.

We have another issue, he was living here with me until july 2009, and was w/just temp jobs until july 2010 and he says his tax transcripts doesn't reach the level for the last year. But now hes working on DOL and making somewhat 40k a year... should I present tax transcripts despite it doesn't reach the poverty level for 4 (me, my son, he, his daughter)?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresI-134
You do not need a letter from you bank. It would be a waste of time and effort to go and get one.

Since you yourself are sponsoring, your pay stubs, employer letter and tax transcripts are more than sufficient. You are good to go.

I'm working on the I-134 and I find that the instructions that come with it don't really request a lot of documentation, but many of the posts I've read indicate that I should send much more. My question is: I make sufficient income to sponsor my fiance without a co-sponsor, so do I still need to send bank statements and a letter from my bank? OR....is proof of my income enough? I have a letter from my employer, several pay stubs and the last 3 years of tax transcripts. Do I need anything else?

I read the tips on a guide I found and which says this: "You will likely need at a minimum (for the above form) two to three of your most recent pay stubs and a signed letter from your employer listing you job title, start date, your salary, and the status (full-time) of your position. Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. You will also probably want to include other evidence such as your banking information and other assets as required by the I-134. Specifically you will need at least 2 of the 4 options mentioned in Section II-Supporting Evidence of the I-134. See this FAQ for more tips and ueful information on the Affidavit of Support Form."

In the I-134 instructions, these are the 4 "options" (I will paraphrase them):
A. Statement from your bank
B. Statement from your employer
C. Documents that are required if you are self-employed
D. List of any bonds that you own

I have the letter from my employer. I am not self-employed and I do not own any bonds. As for my bank accounts. I have a small savings account at a local credit union (about $4500). Other than that, my checking account and savings account at my bank are small and fluctuate because I pay my bills out of them.

I just don't want to send what isn't absolutely necessary...especially if it isn't going to benefit us. I know, also, that it appears that requirements vary from embassy to embassy...so I am looking for information specific to the embassy in London. :)

Thanks so much!
