K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Processing Timelines	Country has nothing to do with it. It may seem so, but VJers are a small portion of the actual numbers. Each case is unique and people may get held up in different security checks. Also, some workers just work faster than the others. For example, May's petitions are split between 10 workers, as are June's. If three adjudicators get all of their may ones done, they will start their june piles, while the other 7 may still be at different stages of their May piles. That is why you see discrepancies in time lines. Certain high-fraud country petitioners may get caught up, but usually that happens in the Embassy stages. If you look at may from VSC, in the last 3 weeks people have been approved from Canada, Sweden, Ukraine, Russia, Philippines, Mexico, UK, Scotland etc. <3 Jen	Jenni and Bo	Female	Canada	2008-09-19 23:52:00

I would be calling NVC to see if it had left in July, and if it had, I would be emailing Montreal or Vancouver (whichever you are going through) I got our NOA2 on Sept 1, and had my packet 3 by Sept 20.... You and your SO need to make some calls to see if it is in Security checks or something at NVC, or to see if your packet 3 got lost in the mail from Montreal or Van...that seems like a long wait. It makes us may filers look up a bit though, knowing that we're not too far behind! I can relate to arguing lately, the heat and stress of the paperwork, work in gerenal and everything else can get to us. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	Montreal Long Version of Birth Cert ?	I received mine from Nova Scotia vital Stats in about 2 weeks. I think the police report is good for a year? I know it was when I did them for my job. Montreal is averaging 3-4 month for interviews, according to what many of us have recently experienced. They say 4-6 months as a high estimate usually. If you sent it express, you should have the tracking number to know it got there. As long as it's there, you just have to wait for them to cash your cheque. We are going to look at the historic building we're getting married in next friday, and we have to go wedding ring shopping and suit shopping for Bo. I am trying to figure out what kind of tradition we want to do for the ceremony..I'm not sure if we can have candles in a building like that, so I'm thinking hand tying or a sand pouring...Gah, so many decisions I just can't wait to be there! I finished work yesterday, of course on my last day it had to be a snowstorm, so we got about 40 cms of snow, and high winds, which meant I was shoveling every 2 hours over my night shift. LOL I tell people that tell me I am going to miss the snow, that they are nuts! Soon we'll all be there and start the AOS process! I dont think I can be done with USCIS soon enough lol! K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports	May filers	OMG HI EVERYONE! I'm sorry I havent' posted in forever..no one had written for awhile, and I had been working. UBER HUGE LOVING CONGRATS to everyone!! I had my interview last Thursday, and aside from 20 hours in a car and -37 celcius weather the morning of, the interview was stressfree and painless. Nat came and tracked me down in the Canada forum I posted my little review in there if anyone is interested. So I have to wait 2 more weeks before I go - have to finish out work, pack, have a going away/bachelorette party and my grandmother is in the hospital. We figured that we had waited 10 months, another week wasn't going to kill us. I should be getting my passport back tomorrow - we got 35-40 cm (12-14 inches) of snow last night, so there was no mail delivery today. We have the wedding date set too - march 6th. Nothing too big. We're getting married in a small town close to the VA border in a historic court house. Bo's mom has been planning a lot of things due to me being so far away. Im really excited, although we have no idea about a honeymoon yet. My uncle has a timeshare he may give us for a week in Florida, which would be absolutely lovely, but it's not a for sure yet. Trying not to get my hopes up LOL. My family is coming down a week before the wedding (bringing my best friend too), and I'm going to show them around and they are going to meet Bo's family. it will be a nice break for them all from the cold and snow! I may actually drive up - only 10 hrs from here and if gas stays the price it is now, it will be cheaper than th 400$ it would cost to fly :S I'm just so excited now I redid my file folder with all the documents and evidence I need to take with me. Made labels for all the tabs and such My friends were caught a little bit off guard. They can't believe it's so soon. I think in their minds a lot of them thought that it wasnt going to happen. Not that Bo and I wouldnt be together, but it's hard for them to picture me actually leaving. I tell them they would feel much differently in my shoes. Congratulations I am probably going to fly down to the states early the first week of Feb. It will give me time to make sure my visa gets here and I can say goodbyes. I'll be flying out of Halifax and I have a lot of friends and family down there...I'll spend a day or two there before I fly out. My poor mother wants to us to wait until April to have the wedding...they don't want to drive down in March (messy month). But that's two months before i can apply for my AOS, so I told them we will wait and see I'm so glad things are going so well for everyone. It's interesting how Montreal has set their interviews. From all the people on VJ, they literally went BACKWARDS in scheduling. I over dramatize sometimes, and I am sorry for it...It was childish Oh... I got my interview date today January 15th, at 9 am in Montreal. You ask "but I thought it was going to be Feb/march?!" Me too...I have no idea how I got an earlier date, although I'm not complaining. It's interesting timing though.
